Jacquie (jacowens) | 2 comments When I first read this book I was in 5th grade and it made a huge impression on me. I could get into that world, understand Meg and Charles Wallace and wondered about the world. What was it like the first time you read it?

I also read "The Dark is Rising" series at the same age and these sets impacted my ideas for years to come. What were you reading?

Timothy | 1 comments When I first started to read this I found it a little boring. But as I continued to read it I started liked it more.

Danielle Dattler | 1 comments I read this book in 6th grade and I wasn't a huge fan of it. I liked it a little bit more by the end of the book though. I believe if I had a chance to read it this summer I would have liked the book more.

Jacquie (jacowens) | 2 comments Can't believe it has been a year since I commented! Anyway, I think some books are especially dependent on where you are age-wise. I read "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte in 8th grade and thought it was the best book ever! I also thought "Ethan Frome" was lovely and tragic. While I still feel that way somewhat, when I read them again later in life, I didn't have the same visceral reaction. Now I am affected by other books. It says something about how much I have grown doesn't it?
