This book is about a boy monster who is not good at doing typical monster things and therefore doesn't fit into his family. His parents and grandparents constantly ask him why he can't be like his sister. Details include getting good grades and covering his mouth when he sneezes. I read this in the 90s but don't know when it was published. It was hardback.
