New Group Moderator

Hi all,


We are looking for a couple of active members to become moderators and help run the group and all of our various group reads.

As you may have noticed this group has grown massively since I started it in 2015 not really expecting it to take off. While neither me or Anita are leaving, with real life continuing to happen, we think it would be a good idea to expand to a four moderator team to handle the volume of monthly group reads we now run.

Moderator duties would include:
* Picking themes for group/non-fiction reads
* Posting nomination threads and polls
* Adding books to group bookshelves
* Posting group read starter/info posts
* Sending out broadcast messages
* Moderating any behavioural issues in the threads

If you are interested, please let us know in this thread. I'm afraid we are currently limiting it to a maximum of two new moderator positions and are looking for members are regularly active.

We will keep this thread open for a week and then either make our choice or extend the expression of interest period.

Hi Louise,

I didn't respond earlier because I thought only the people interested should respond. However, due to the lack of responses I feel bad being silent. I am still new to the group and I am not tech savvy at all so I don't know if I would be much help to you as a moderator. All those duties seem to require technical skills that I don't think I have - you should see me trying to remember how to do a spoiler each time I post.
