I couldn't seem to find a chat thread, but if I seemed to have missed the thread, then please delete this chat thread. Thanks!

Here is where we can chat about everything and anything as long as it is not disrespectful.

I was looking for it too. I know we had one, but it wasn't even in the edit folders page.

These Violent Delights (Robin) | 1236 comments Mod
I know! I was really sure I saw one too..

message 4: by Erin Lynn (new)

Erin Lynn | 2727 comments Mod
Maybe it was deleted because no one used it. lol We'll have to check with Angie.

These Violent Delights (Robin) | 1236 comments Mod
Yeah, maybe.

message 6: by Irene (new)

Irene (raenne) Now there is one at least. Well, hi!
So, anyone else have other hobbies than reading? I like to crochet, but it's hard to do when reading :|

I can cross stitch and sew. I've made dresses, duffel bags, tote bags, etc. I just need to get my machine fixed up a bit.

I can also play the clarinet. It's been a while since I've played it formally, but I took it out not too long ago, and my dad said I sounded great.

message 8: by Irene (new)

Irene (raenne) I used to play in a matching band when I was a kid Played the drum. For four years or so.
I can't sew. Not at all. My dad's good though! He's making me a dress as we speak.
I hate that I don't have time to do other things than reading, but I like to read lol

Random question... Does anyone know how to get a banner onto a Blogger blog? I've tried like six times now, and it won't load.

Angela Dossett (whisperingwillo) | 94 comments I love to draw, sew things by hand, create or decorate with unusual things. I like to play online games, eat chocolate, cheeto puffs, drink Dr. Pepper and coffee. My favorite of all is Reading Books. I'm now reviewing a lot as well. I'm a big yoga participant.

My neurologist suggested yoga, but I still haven't tried it.

Angela Dossett (whisperingwillo) | 94 comments Very easy to do. Try it with Wii Fit if you have one. I'm now doing it on my own for about 5 years. Outside on my yoga mat and music. I'm at least limber for my age. My body doesn't pop like it use to. I find it very relaxing and enjoyable.

These Violent Delights (Robin) | 1236 comments Mod
I did yoga for a few years, still have my yoga mat and dvd, thinking about trying it up again, my doctor said yoga would be a good thing for me.

I also love Dr. Pepper.. I think I may have an addiction to the stuff haha. I learned how to sew a long long time ago and never practiced it, so I completely forgot.

I play SAS 4 on Ninja Kiwi a lot online. I don't particularily like video games but I love killing zombies lol.

OMG. It shows up on mobile, but not on my computer.

message 16: by Erin Lynn (new)

Erin Lynn | 2727 comments Mod
Yeah. Just not on my computer. I am so frustrated. I had to download the font and everything to make it, so I'm going to make sure it is on my blog. lol

message 17: by Erin Lynn (new)

Erin Lynn | 2727 comments Mod
None at all. I even adjusted the CSS after it didn't show. I've tried a direct upload of it and the direct image URL from Photobucket. Nothing is working.

message 18: by Erin Lynn (new)

Erin Lynn | 2727 comments Mod
I just want it up. lol

I am supposed to put it in the header place, right?

message 19: by Erin Lynn (new)

Erin Lynn | 2727 comments Mod
Hmmm. I wonder why it isn't working then. So weird.

message 20: by Erin Lynn (new)

Erin Lynn | 2727 comments Mod
OMG.

So I keep a mini anti-antiperspirant in my purse in case of emergency sweating, and the cap came off. There is white dust all over my purse! At least it smells good because it was Dove.

I was driving home from the bookstore when I noticed it, and I was so upset. lol

And my blog banner. It refuses to upload.

These Violent Delights (Robin) | 1236 comments Mod
That's not good. Maybe reset/refresh the page and then load the banner?

OMG. I just bought a Ped Egg, and it is absolutely the best thing I have ever done for my feet! They are so smooth. I can't believe I waited this long to get one. It's awesome!

message 27: by Irene (new)

Irene (raenne) Omg I'm a wuss. I've managed to scare myself over this paranormal book I'm reading. WHAT IS THIS! I'm 24, I'm supposed to be an adult! Lol

@Erin - Smooth feet are the best!

Angela Dossett (whisperingwillo) | 94 comments @Irene- What book are you reading that scared you? I love books like that.

These Violent Delights (Robin) | 1236 comments Mod
I know that Asylum is scary and Between The Devil & The Deep Blue Sea is dark and a bit creepy.

Hey, I was wondering... I need a thriller and a book under 100 pages for the 3 Month Fall Challenge. Anyone now of anything good?

message 32: by Irene (new)

Irene (raenne) Angela wrote: "@Irene- What book are you reading that scared you? I love books like that."

Vision of Shadows (The Vision series #1) by Vincent Morrone - Not scary at all, just me being a wuss (is that a swear word? Please inform me whether it is or not, because it sounds like it, but I really have no idea!) :P

If you want a great ya horror-ish book, I'd say you should definitely read MARY The Summoning (Bloody Mary, #1) by Hillary Monahan which is out in September, I think. Not sure! I really liked it :)

OMG. I hated Gone Girl. lol

But I did want to check out The Half Life of Molly Pierce.

These Violent Delights (Robin) | 1236 comments Mod
Well, I wasn't sure about reading Gone Girl myself. Kinda glad I didn't read it, not sure if I will see the movie. I'm not a thriller/horror fan to be honest.

These Violent Delights (Robin) | 1236 comments Mod
I recieved a signed copy of Brightly Woven by Alexandra Bracken in the mail today! I was so elated when I opened the package and saw it inside, I nearly screamed lol. Mrs. Bracken also sent a Darkest Minds quote-card with this book (:

The thriller parts didn't really bother me. It was just really disgusting. There were parts of it that made me want to vomit.

These Violent Delights (Robin) | 1236 comments Mod
Wow.. that's definitely a no no in books for me haha.

Angela Dossett (whisperingwillo) | 94 comments Has anyone read the Eva Prim Series by Jordan Rose. I'm trying to figure out what is the best way to read books. The author has several short novellas included, but I can't seem to find a reading order. I would appreciate the help.

I Listened to the audiobook version of The Book Thief and adored it, the narrator was perfect, he enhanced the story!

Also, I recently finished listening to I Am The Messenger and adored it too! The narrator was spot on!

I'm going to read it. My friend on Goodreads read it thought it was amazing so she recommended it to me. Me and my family are going on holiday to Scotland in a week or so and it's a ten hour journey so I thought I'd get the audiobook and listen to that in the car. I'm going to need it. :D
