I'm not there yet but this is something that comes up every now and then in MM Romance. Maybe men are different? But I honestly can't imagine it, lol! He can barely move or take a deep breath because of bruised ribs and he has a nasty headache. Even if he wants to, I don't think having sex is pleasurable when everything hurts.

Do you have honey colored cabinets with grey counters? Dark grey or light? solid or a marble effect? there are mitigating factors to be considered here. I once had honey colored cabinets I actually really loved them but in truth I can't remember what color the counters were...which is kind or weird because that 's the type of thing that I'm notorious for remembering.

The ending was tiny bit convoluted but not excessively and it worked for me. I loved the epilogue it was adorable and kept me smiling. Short update on Jamilah:

She was still pretty down this morning, but I think it's rather because of her having trouble breathing than a colic or so. I tried it with some Lifewave patches against breathlessness and they seemed to help. She was way more chipper, then. :) Rita will have a look in a few hours and if it's as bad as yesterday she'll put her in her box and I'll go check on her when we are done with our BR. If she won't call everything will be okay, I guess. :)

I know what you mean, Simone : between Cadiva and Ariana, there was a huge range of reactions. I was also a tiny, tiny bit worried.
And it's true it's always the same basic story, ie a bodyguard falling with a client or an acquaintance. After a while, there can be a sense of weariness, even if it's a trope I'm all for :-)
If you take the example of the protector series which I am a real fan, I'm starting to wonder when I will get bored...hasn't happened yet, but I wouldn't be surprised when it comes.

But, it seems that it's not yet the time with the Ward security for us...I prefer it that way, LOL !!!

The weather is great here as well! They are talking about the warmest October since... ever, lol! Not so great for the fur babies because they already have their winter coat but they will live :) This week we had about 20 degrees and it was sunny.

As I said, I like this one more than the other books in this series. The mystery is as week as in the other books but I like the characters much better. And I don't mind an age-gap book which is a plus, lol!
