Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me track down a book I read years ago. I can't remember the title or the author but it was about a woman restarting her life after some sort of trauma. Sort of like leaving the fancy city life for a simpler life in the country. I remember that she goes back to her home town or area, there is an apple orchard on the property where she lives, there is some sort of magic involved. I think it's set in the Hudson Valley in New York State. The timing would be 1990s I think. I read it in 1997 or 1998. But not sure. Does anyone know this book? Thank you very much in advance. The Silver Bough by Lisa Tuttle turned up while searching, but it's set in Scotland and first published in 2006.
