Samuel, Amazon has this new review rule (at least in the US):

Sorry if it is a bit short. I do seem to tend to write shorter reviews than others, but it is mainly because I figure people will read the shorter reviews before the longer ones. If you are unhappy with the length please let me know and I have no problem making it longer, just for myself I know I read the short reviews and skim over the longer ones when I look at reviews for books I am thinking of buying. I write reviews to encourage others to buy not to tell authors what I think they did right or wrong. If something really bothers me or captured me I would contact the author personally and let them know.
