Hi!

I've been trying to remember the name of a Young adult adult series from the mid-90s, probably between 1994-96, about a group of high school students who gain the ability to transform into various supernatural creatures, monsters (one becomes an animated gargoyle, one becomes a werewolf, so on). The group had a sort of cliche build-up: one is a hothead, one is the heart of the team, so on. It was similar to the Animorphs series, but much less popular.

The one detail that I vividly remember was there was a villain named The Collector, who was described as wearing a pith helmet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
