Lorrea - WhatChaReadin'? (whatchatreadin) Our Pals are as follows(chosen by the most scientific method--names in a hat):

Amy & Angela
Tonya & Benjamin
Juliana & Sabrina
Ray & Christine

OK, You have your Pal, what's next.

1. Send your Pal a message, introduce yourself if you don't already know each other and decide which book(s) you guys are either going to read together or you can pick different books for the other to read. Remember this is going to last until December so you can either pick one book now and another later, or pick several now to read until then. A few people have chosen shelves for you to choose books from, find this in the Sign Up Thread.

2. Use this thread to tell us what you are reading and how you are liking it. Remember no spoilers OR use the (view spoiler) tag if you do. (Find out how to do this using the 'some html is ok' link above the comment box)

3. Please participate. If you don't post on the threads here, at least communicate with your Pal about your reading.

4. This is the most important rule-- HAVE FUN!!

**As always if you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to send me a private message.**

Sabrina | 115 comments One question, since I don't see the original post of my partner signing up for this (link by clicking the name) and with no last name given how do I find them?

Lorrea - WhatChaReadin'? (whatchatreadin) Juliana posted in the Who's Interested in Book pals thread. You can find her there. If you have any trouble, let me know.

Sabrina | 115 comments Since it's almost the end of December I guess we can start reviewing the books from our partners/lists. My partner was Juliana.

From her list we both read Sully: My Search for What Really Matters. I found this book to be quite good. It was mostly about his life and how everything prepared him for the landing he would have to make on the Hudson. The end of the book covers this. Throughout is sprinkled other significant crashes and safety measures that have been taken over the years to make air travel better. I do recommend this book, even with the talk about crashes because it is uplifting in general and Sully and his history is interesting, not just how he became famous. He is a very humble man and I agree with his outlook on life.

From my list we both read The Cold Dish which is the beginning of a series about a sheriff in a small town in Wyoming and all the adventures he and his coworkers and friends get into. The first book while at first glance seems a bit jumbled it grows on you. It has humor as well as mystery and a mix of modern and old west feel. You can like the characters even if you don't agree with all of them and there is something to connect with. Lots of detail without being overwhelming. The land in itself is almost a character. I continued on with the series.

I'm not sure about Juliana but I did get to a few other books on my to read list. I did read Zoo which was on her list.

Juliana | 333 comments I didn’t read any others due to problems at work and my birds 🦅 but managed to read two books not on my list so far on my Christmas break.
