Need beta readers for my short story

Hello.

Please, could anyone beta read my 18k short story?

The genre is dark fiction with no sexual elements. There is gaslighting. The focus is on child/parental relationships with a paranormal backdrop, so it's more psychological than strictly horror.

I will need someone in a week for a simple read through - nothing too technical. I would like to gauge reader response: areas of confusion, slow pace, too much exposition etc. before I continue with more edits.
