That Amazon link says the author is Fanpro and the cover doesn't state a name. There is no Look Inside to check.

ETA Also, it seems to be a role-playing game? I.e., not a book?

Fanpro is not the author but the publishing house.

Another instance where GR policy is very vague. Why not say outright that RPGs are allowed (or not)?

I am translator of roleplaying games and I am totally sure that they are books: they have covers, they have pages and they are not board games or videogames. And i'm not talking about brouchers but books of at least 50 pages (about 400 is the average for a "core rpg book").

I know that some people have some doubts due to the videogames that are also RPGs, but in this case I'm talking about books that are halfway between a novel (they have short stories inside) and instruction manuals (they explain the rules of the game).

OK, I believe you are right. But I can't verify the name. It may well be that an English edition spells his name Guenther, in which case that should be the primary spelling on all editions.

Should Degenesis: Rebirth Edition be combined with Degenesis: Rebirth Edition - Primal Punk, or are they two separate books? They seem to have the exact same cover:

Both the original publishing house (German and English versions) and the Spanish publishing house edited this book into two books that are sold together, so they have a single ISBN into two physical halves. I was also wondering about if they should appear as the 704 "index card" or in two of 351 pages because they both start by page 1 or 2... BUT the first book is from introduction to chapter 4 and the second from 5 till the end.

The first half is called Degenesis Primal Punk and the second half is called Degensis Katarsis. Both covers are almost the same except for the subtitle.

And these are wrong because they are using the ISBN of the "full version" (and I didn't notice that for the Spanish one before):

Hi Tatiana, sorry, I was away earlier.

If the Spanish book has the ISBN of the 2-volume edition, it can be changed into that and combined with the German and English full editions, if you supply the information here.

If I understand correctly, the English Primal Punk edition (without ISBN) is superfluous and can be merged into the English full edition (i.e. deleted), yes?

Yes, I think that it's easier to have a single full edition because it has just one ISBN and one book has chapter 1-4 and the book 2 has 5-12. I think it was splited because a 704 pages book was to heavy to handle.

English edition: book 1 has 351 pages and book 2 352. ISBN 978-3-00-046336-5 and Oliver Hoffmann as translator.

Spanish edition: book 1 has 351 pages and book 2 352. ISBN 978-84-16357-18-5 and Luis M. Rebollar as translator.
