BUDDY READ GUIDELINES

This thread contains the guidelines for our Buddy Read System

GUIDELINES:
‣ you can look for reading buddies in this thread

‣ a book can be nominated for a Buddy Read on any day of the year

‣ nominate the book you want to read under the month you want to start it

‣ once a book has been nominated twice and details have been discussed by the participants, a discussion thread will be created

‣ buddy reads are arranged in small groups (if applicable) unless participants want to do it in pairs

‣ talk to your buddy/buddies !!!

‣ please take note of the dates for your Buddy Reads so that your buddy/buddies won't be disappointed!!

‣ you can nominate as many books as you can but take into consideration that you may find a buddy for all those books, more than you may be able to read

‣ thus, if you are unable to make a buddy read, please let your buddy/buddies know by commenting on your Buddy Read thread or the official Buddy Read Nominations thread for that month

‣ books can be nominated multiple times, throughout the months, by different people

‣ spoilers are only allowed up until the group's current reading place

‣ Discussion breakdowns and schedules are created accordingly based on the group's reading goals and the format of the book itself

‣ Discussion breakdowns are mainly added to guide the participants and the discussion so that spoilers do not need to be censored

‣ Buddy Read threads are automatically closed after 2 months of inactivity

‣ Please be respectful of all group members, even those who have different views and opinions as you do. It is okay to say how you feel! but we do not tolerate bullying or personal attacks of any kind

‣ for any questions or to report inappropriate behaviour you can talk to the mods.
