October 2018 ~ ATF Challenge!
I'm in too even though I've been slacking on my challenges. It's been a really rough month for me. My aunt, who will turn 95 on October 3rd, is on her 7th day of hospice. We think she may be waiting for that birthday. It's been tough. She has six sisters, which includes my mom, and a brother who are all very close.. It's just so sad to watch.

*hugs* JeanHospice is the worst--so stressful. Prayers for you and your family and that everything is peaceful for your aunt through the end. I'm glad my mom did hospice for her, but I despised it for those of us who had to helplessly stand by as everything progressed.

Oh my Ela has so many shiny goodies on her Faves list! I’m torn between reading either The Queen & the Cure by Amy Harmon or Fearless by Lauren Gilley.
I’m suggesting The Pawn by Skye Warren for Ela.

EXACTLY what I was thinking. When I saw Tessa picked #2.5, I was going to pick it too and then I went searching to see if there's been any news about book 3. NOPE!

Another book that I put on my tbr after we did one of our J. Ann BR's, and it disappeared.
Ela, since it looks like you loved the series, my suggestion for you is: Scars and Songs
. It's Shane's POV for the books Fall from Grace and Saving Grace, and besides his retelling of those books, it also answers questions about why he behaved the way he did and adds more to the story line. It's an oldie (I read it 5 yrs ago 😂), but even if it doesn't stand the test of time, at least you'll get it off your tbr. If it's chosen, I REALLY hope you'll love it as much as I did!

I was thinking of How To Kill a Rockstar or On the Island, but both are really expensive on kindle, so I'm going with the Tiffany Reisz. I've wanted to read it for ages anyway, so here goes.

And I think now that we've figured it out, the rules of this challenge are pretty simple.
1) Between now and the 3rd of October, members express their interest in participating in the ATF challenge for October.
2) Sometime on October, it will be randomized by one of our illustrious randomizers (*cough, cough, lazy Grey!) to see who the lucky 10th woman of honor will be.
3) She will post the link to her All Time Favorite Books list (which could be her 5 stars list... or it could be something new that she makes up specifically for this challenge, however, it should include at least 10 books; in fact, the more books the better). I will also link the Honoree's list here in this first post.
4) Then this is where it gets fun... the Honoree could deign to 'help' pick a book for each of us that are participating to read from that list that we haven't read, if we have it or can easily get our hands on it. Or...she could just let us run amok and pick from all of her favorite choices.

And last, but certainly not least...
5) The next super fun part of this challenge is that everyone else gets to throw a suggestion into the pot for the honoree, one of their 5 star suggestions, which will then be tossed into the randomizer again (or the honoree can just choose one, whichever floats her boat!) But this way, the honoree also has an All Time Favorite to read this month.
