Once Cain had left Trent had come to get Nathan for his phone call. Nathan quickly dialed Sam's phone number. He hadn't seen her today because of her job interview. He wondered how she did and if she would get the job. He wanted her to get it but at the same time he wanted to make sure she still had time for him. He knew it was selfish and they would always have their phone calls but it wasn't the same. He wanted her to be in front of him. He grinned as he thought of the times he would steal just a touch of her hand. Trent always caught it but he didn't say anything. Nathan had come to fall for her hard. He was in love with the girl. But he couldn't and wouldn't do anything about it. He wasn't worthy of her and everyone knew it. He sighed. "Sam, hey." He said as she picked up. He could automatically tell something was wrong with her. "What's wrong?" He asked her drawing closer to the wall. It was almlst like he was protecting her through the phone. He bit his lip. Had she heard about Erin? Did she believe it? It was very possible that the baby wasn't even his. Who had she been fucking when she came to visit him all those weeks before? He couldn't remember the guys name. He did remember that it was one of the group that they used to hang out.
Sam just got home when her phone runged, she already knew who it was. She answered and connected to the call. She took her hair out of the bun she had had it in. "Hey." she said, she couldn't lie that what she heard, did hurt. She wondered if he knew what was being said around. Sam knew that Erin basically opened her legs to anyone that wanted her but, she honestly still knew it could still be a small chance that it was his. "Oh.. nothing." she said. Sam placed her purse on the couch like always. "Nathan?" Hunter asked as he saw his daughter standing in the living room. Sam smirked and nodded, her father finally took Nate to be a pretty okay kid. Since Sam won't let him think any other way. Hunter nodded back to her daughter, he mentions for her to come to him. He had made dinner since he came home early. He had the department switch his shift so he could be home more. He was still called out from time to time but he was more home and Sam actually realized that she did like having someone home with her again. She walked into the kitchen and grabbed the plate that her father had for her. "Thanks dad, I will be in my room," she said, Hunter put a thumbs up in the air as he started eating. She walked into her room and closed the door with her foot. "How was your doing?" she decided to ask.
Nathan frowned. He heard Sam and her father and waited for them to be done talking before he said anything more. "Bullshit nothing's wrong. I know you, Sam." He said. He sighed as she asked about his day. "I got a visit from my father today. The all powerful, supreme judge Cain Rush finally came to visit his only son in prison." He scoffed. "He was updating me on what was going on outside." His thoughts went to Erin and her pregnancy. He cleared his throat he would go into that later. "Hey, Sam. Is some guy going after you?" He asked her. "Cain said something about a new guy coming to town and trying to get with you." He said softly. He really hoped that she wasn't going for him either. Not that he didn't want her happy. But he wanted to be the one to make her happy. He grianes inwardly. He couldn't. He glanced over at Trent and then turned his back so Trent would not be able to hear him. "Cain also said that Erin came to see my parents and told them she's pregnant with my child." He told her. He wouldn't lie to her and this was a huge thing. He sighed. "I don't think it's mine. Even while we were fucking we always used a condom because I knew she was fucking a shit ton of guys besides me and I didn't want any of her diseases. But..." He groaned. Until they got a paternity test it was his word against hers. He frowned. He wondered if Erin wasn't just blowing smoke out of her ass and lying about being pregnant.
His father visiting him She thought to herself as he spoke, she knew from what Nate her about him that the visit was just garage. She sat down and sighed softly as he spoke again but this time about Owen. Her heart started to race, he knew about Owen. She couldn't hide Owen if Nate was just asking straightforward about him. "Yeah, it's just my ex.. But honestly, his being more stalkerish than anything else. It's kind of creepy." she said, Sam knew Owen could be weird sometimes, it was that made him stand out to her when they were dating but now he was just taking it to another level. Opened her mouth to tell Nate not to worry about it but, he spoke first and it was about Erin. She sighed as she started playing with her food. She waited until he was done speaking, when she starting talking. "Yeah, I know about it.. I actually just heard it myself." she said, she didn't like talking about Erin with him. She was something to him even though he always said the girl was really nothing to her. Sam couldn't help but to feel jealous.
Nathan frowned. "Your ex?" He asked. He was glad to know thay it was an ex. But at the same time. He was stalking her? What in the actual hell? "Have you told your father about this? Has he done anything to you? Made you feel threatened in any way? Damn it, Sam. Why didn't you say anything before now? I had to hear it from my father? My father!" He glanced over his shoulder and saw the narrowed eyes of Trent and he shook his head as to say nothing was wrong. He took a deep breath and then focused on the other issue. "Did Erin tell you?" He growled. He really didn't like Erin anymore. And when he was out they were going to have words. He narrowed his eyes. He ran a hand down his face. What if she waa actually pregnant with his child though? The thought stopped him. Nathan was no way ready for a child. And Erin? He shook his head. She would be crap for a mother.
She didn't like when he shouted at her, it wasn't something that he did often but when he did. It always made her jump a bit, she sighed. "I-I-I'm sorry.. I didn't think anyone noticed.. Plus he knows he wasn't going to leave me alone no matter what someone say or did." she said, she could tell that he was upset but she didn't know if it was at her or actually with her ex and then he brought up Erin again. She sighed softly. "No, Ruth actually told me." she said. "I actually was mad at you, when he told me.. Like.. every girl that you have slept with it had to Erin that you get pregnant," she said, once she realized that she was getting upset all over again. She just placed some food in her mouth and rolled her eyes.
Nate sighed. "I'm sorry I yelled. I just don't want you to get hurt. Sam, this guy... Be careful okay? Tell your dad at least." He ran a hand over his head. "If you don't, I will." He warned her. He frowned. "Mad at me? For getting someone knocked up? Sam, I always used a condom with her. I sincerelly doubt she's pregnant with my child. I'm going to have Cain do a paternity test at her next ultrasound. That is if she's even pregnant." He shook his head. "I think it's someone else's child, Sam." He told her. "So, you wanna tell me why you were mad and upset at the news of Erin being pregnant with my child? I'm guessing that's what was wrong when I first called you?" He hoped it was because if it was then it sounded like she was jealous and that made him want to beat on his chest like a caveman. His girl was jealous of him. Woah, did he just call Sam his girl?
She nodded when he apologized but she still didn't say anything. "Okay." she said, it wasn't really a lie but she wasn't sure was going to do it either. "Yeah, that's what was wrong." she said, she shrugged at her own words. It was Erin.. Just the thought of the girl name made Sam annoyed. "It just.. I don't know." she tried to explain herself but she didn't know how to say. I don't want anyone to have your child.. because that means I will have to share you with them without sounding like a total creep. She bit her lip and sighed before she added more food into her mouth. Besides Nate had so many girls to choose from she knew that she was going to be the late one he ever picked. He only shows her as a friend nothing more. Even though she knew that it was still hard for to actually only see him as a friend.
As Sam confessed that had been in fact what was wrong he grinned. He really did want to beat his chest like a caveman. He licked his lips and his gaze was hooded. "Oh." Was all he said. He cleared his throat. "So, yoy were jealous?" He asked her in a low voice. "Why?" He asked her. "Why were jealous of her, Sam?" He asked her. He couldn't believe that she felt the same way about him as he did about her. Heck, she may not believe he was a fuck up but he knew he was. He wondered when he got out of prison if he would have a home to go back to or if his father was going to kick him out. He would need to get a job and find a cheap apartment then. Shit. This was jot what he wanted to think about right now. There was also the matter of the price of his medication.
"I never said that was jealous..." she said she quickly got nervous and like always she started playing the ends of her hair. She have been trying to stop doing it but it was easier said then done. "I never said that i was jealous mister know it all." She reapted again as her face got red, her mind was ready for him to friend zone her. She bit her lip and shook her head. She was mad at herself she shouldn't have admit to anything. She should have just stayed quiet.
Nathan smirked. "Bullshit, Sam. I know you're playing with the ends of your hair right now. I made you nervous. But don't be. Now, tell me why you were jealous, Sam. I want to know." He said. He smiled and then sighed. "I'll tell you this. I'm really glad you were jealous." He whispered. And he meant it. God he loved that she was jealous of Erin. "But I want to know why you were jealous. Was it just because I'd have to give some of my time to her and the baby? Or is there perhaps another reason?" He asked.
Sam rolled her eyes, she loved that he knew her so well but it was moments like this they saw it to be a real pain in the ass. She was losted when said that he was glad that shw was jealous. She sighed before started to speak. "Could the answer be both?" She asked, since her honest answer was both. She did want him to get anyone his time her. She didn't want to share with anyone. Plus she actually cared about him, the feelings she had for Nate were stronger than anything she ever felt. What she use to feel for Owen had nothing in the feelings she had Nate. "I mean because yes it was because of you having to give your time into them.. but there is another reason as well.. so the answer is both." She said with smile ear to ear as she spoke.
Nate was shocked. He put his head on the wall. "Shit, Sam." He said in a husky voice. "And, just what is this other reason you have?" He asked. He wanted to know. He had to know. But she had to tell him. He knew that this was a bad idea. Because if she did tell him what he was hoping then he would reply in same and then their friendship would be affected. Could they continue to be just friends? Or? He cleared his throat. He wanted the or with her. He wanted her to his. His girl. And only his girl. But could he do that to her? She'd have a boyfriend in prison. And what would her father say? Shit. Hunter Walker was a scary man. And he did tell him once that he only wanted to be friends with his daughter. But now things were changing.
"I feel like i am taking a damn test right now." She said with nervous giggle. He was asking to much, she sighed and bit her lip. "Nope, i am leaving my answer where its at.." she added. She didn’t have enough balls to tell him, how she felt. But then she had an idea. "Lets make a deal, i will tell you if.. you tell me why were you glad that i was jealous.." she said it was fair.. right? She had to know if he delt something before she told him. She knew her father only let her continue talking to him because he thought she was only friends with him. And she was but her feelings were much different than a friendship.
Nathan smirked. "Hey, this test is pretty easy then, Sam." He said with a laugh. He shook his head and sighed when he realized she wasn't going to tell him what she meant by the statement. He wanted to know but if she wasn't going to tell him then he wasn't going to push the matter. He didn't want to push his own luck. He raised an eyebrow at her deal. He had to agree it was a fair deal but could he really tell her why he was glad that she was jealous? What if she didn't feel the same way? Could he really do that to their friendship? He groaned softly. "Alright fine." He said with a small nod. He was sure that if they were face to face right now he wouldn't be able to say what he needed to say. What she was asking of him. He was nervous about her answer. "I was happy you are jealous of her," he didn't say Erin's name since he could just tell that she didn't enjoy hearing her name come from his lips. Which pleased him to no end. "because I like knowing that you get jealous over the thought of me spending time with some other girl just like I get jealous over you spending time with another guy. Because I've come to," he looked back at Trent who motioned to his watch. He held up five minutes and Trent nodded. "I've come to feel more for you than I should, Sam." He finally told her.
To hear Nate say what he said made her happier than she would ever be. "Mister know it all.. are you saying that you like me?"she asked him, she smiled ear to ear. She happy to know that he felt the same about her, she bit her lip still smiling. "Because if you are.. i have to admit, i feel the same." She said nervously, her heart started beating faster. She ate the last little bit from her plate and at that moment she heard her father knocking on the door. She got up and walked over to the door holding her plate. "I got it dad, i need to get something to drink anyway."she said, Hunter frowned at the sight of her still on the phone. He glanced at his watch and then back up at Sam. "Shouldn't he be getting off soon?" He asked, Sam shrugged she never counted hiw long they were on the phone. She didn't want to waste their time together like that. "Okay, you got school tomorrow so.. Sam nodded and walked off before her father could finish. She was talking to Nate right now, her father could say what he have to say laterr. She headed down to the kitchen.
Nate chuckled. "Yeah. That's exactly what I'm saying, Sam." He said with a smirk. He waited for her reply and when she told him she felt the same way he grinned. He ran a hand over his head and then heard Hunter and he froze. Shit. Had Hunter heard their conversation? Was he going to kill him now? He cleared his throat. "Uh, your father's right. I do have to get off. Trent's already given me more time than I'm supposed to. I'll talk to you tomorrow, Sam. I promise. Sweet dreams." He said with a smile and when she responded he hung up. He turned back to Trent and nodded. They went back to his cell. "Good call I take it?" Nate nodded. "Yeah."
Sam was happy that he felt the same way she felt. She sighed when he said that he had to go, he was upset that he had to go. But she understands that he needed to. "Okay." she said, she hung up but, it left her feeling bittersweet. Samantha sighed, she wanted to stay on the phone with him. She rolled her eyes and put her phone on the corner. She started washing her plate. But then a smile came on her face. She knew she was going to see him tomorrow and she wondered would things be the same between them? But then her thoughts run toward Erin and her being pregnant... She shook her head, if it was really his kids. She knew she wouldn't be able to be with him. Since she didn't believe in men being with someone else while they have children with another woman.
The next morning, Nathan was worried and nervous about his visit with Sam. They had told each other that they had feelings for one another. How would this visit go? Would it be awkward? He groaned. He wasn't good at this. He never wanted a real relationship with someone before. But with Sam? He wanted her somethibg fierce. Fuck, the consequences. He just wanted her. He shook his head. He heard footsteps coming towards him and looked up expecting to see Trent but instead he came face to face with Silas James. He narrowed his eyes. Silas had left him alone after what had happened in the visiting center with Trent. But he had always felt this man's eyes on him. "What do you want?" Silas smirked. "I came to get you for a visit. Trent's out sick today so I'm your babysitter today." Nathan glared at him but went with him. He wouldn't let Silad get in the way of him visiting with Sam. He saw her and waved. "By the way, I hear congratulations are in order for you and Erin." Silas said when they were within earshot of Sam. "That poor child has to live with you and that woman as it's parents. Poor kid." He said and then left Nathan glaring at his receding back. His hands were in fists at his sides and he was grinding his teeth hard.
Sam was happy to go see Nate, she had got the call from the hospital and she was happy to tell him the good news. She had actually got the job. She was only a few more steps away from her dream job. She found a letter from Owen on her hood when she went to her car, she didn't read it. She just put it in her car and decided not to even worry about it. She wasn't about to let anyone ruin her vibe, she was happy to go see Nate and she wasn't about to have anyone fuck him up. Samantha walked into the prison. She was shocked to not see Trent in the front to meet up with her. She enjoined seeing him almost as much as she enjoined seeing Nate. She shrugged her shoulders and just followed the other guard to the visitation room like always. She frowned at the sight of that guy, she remembered from the other night. He was the one who hit Nate. She was about to speak when she saw Nate but, then the man spoke about Erin. She sighed and glanced down at the table and she played with the end of her hair. She waited until the man walked off before she looked up at Nate. "Umm.. Well... umm." she said, she didn't know what to say now. "How is your little group of friends?" she asked as she realized that he didn't really talk about them anymore.
Nate heard Sam and looked down at her. He sat down and gave her tight smile. He hated that Silas brought up Erin and her fucking pregnancy. He sighed softly. "They're good." He said. He bit his lip and smiled at Sam. "Hi, by the way. I'm sorry about the asshole. But, you're here." He grinned. "So, what's up with you?" He asked her. He wanted to know if the hospital had called her back or anything. He also wanted to talk about what was said last night. He ran a hand across the back of his neck.
"Oh that's good." she said, Sam shook her head when he apologized about the guard's behavior, then Sam glanced over at Silas standing in the corner and she smirked. She had an idea if wanted to start problems.. Nate grabbed her attention once again when he asked about her. She nodded before she spoke. "I almost forgot the hospital called... I got it, i start in two days." she said, the hospital gave her enough time to get things she might need even though she actually already had everything. She bit her lip slightly. "So about last night..." she said not knowing how to really bring it up.
Nate grinned. "That's amazing! Congratulations, Sam. Do you know what your hours are going to be?" He asked her. He wondered if they going to interrupt their time together. He nodded. "Yeah, last night." He cleared his throat. "Last night when I told you I like you and you replied in same." He said with a smirk and smile. "What are we going to do with this information?" He asked her softly. "You know, you're father would kill me if we, well, got together. In that way I mean." He told her.
"Yea, nights. Since I still have a semester after this one to do before i am done. So they thought i should take nights, so work won't fuck my classes up." Sam explained and honestly that meant she could still come to see him and maybe if she isn't busy at work she could still talk to him at night as well. She was happy with the news when they called but she had to pay it off "cool" at least that is what Nate told her when she told him about the interview. Sam eyes went to her hair on the table as he spoke. She nodded, she already thought about that. And it wasn't that that made her worried. She knew her father was only acting like that because Nate was in prison. And she at least hoped once he was out, her father would see that it was just a mistake and Nate wouldn't do that again. She would make sure of it even if they were to stay as a friend. She shrugged and then nodded. "Yeah.. I understand," she said the only thing that she could supposedly say. But she decided to not bit her tongue. Sam glanced up at Nate, she was sad and it was written all over her face. "And plus your whole situation as to be seen about, I don't want to feel like i am taking from someone and especially a baby." she said.
Nate grinned. Nights. He coukd work with her working at nights. Hopefully he could even continue their nightly calls. He nodded as she continued with their conversation of their, relationship. "You wouldn't be taking me away from anyone, Sam. Even if Erin is in fact pregnant with my child. Which I sincerely doubt she is. You know, Erin. She's a slut who's fucked almost every guy in town. There are plenty of guys whose sperm most likely knocked her up. And like I've been telling you, I've always kept a condom on when I was with her." He tried to remember the last time he was with her. It had been about 3 or so months back. He's been incarcerated for about two and a half months now. He hadn't really had time for her when he'd been back in the real world. He'd been volunteering at a school and trying to find a job so he hadn't had sex with anyone in a while. That night he got caught he was planning on getting laid but it never happened.
"Okay, okay mister know it all." She said with a giggle. She decided to laugh her sadness away. She hated bring sad in front of Nate, it was different when they were on the phone. She felt like she could lie to him. While she on the phone rather than in person. "I unstand." She said. She knew Erin was a slut but she never actually heard it come out his lips. She giggled at his words and then she stopped playing with her hair, to ran her hand through it.
Nate nodded. He could tell that talking about Erin and the pregnancy made her sad so he leaned forward and moved to change the subject. "So, besides that situtation. You actually want this?" He asked as he gestured between them. "I mean, Sam, I still have 7 or so months till I get out. I mean I might be able to get a reduced sentence for good behavior but, I'll still be the guy who went to prison." He told her. He sighed. "Sam, you should be with someone who is worthy of you." He told her. "Someone you feel is worthy." He said with a nod of his head. "And honestly, I don't think I'm that guy."
"Just because you feel like your not worthy doesnt mean i feel like your not worthy." She said with a frown and a eye roll. He always said he wasn't worthy of everything... Even though she kept telling him that she always thought he was worthy or whatever. "Look.. if you don't want to be with me because of my father. Can you be honest, i will understand." Sam said, she knew or least she thought that she knew why he didn't want to be with her. It was because of her father. Just like she said before, Hunter being her father made people not want to be around her. And now it was doing the same with Nate. "I can still be your friend." She said with a shrug of her shoulders.
Nate smiled. She was always telling him he was worthy. He shook his head. "Sam, as much as I am dreading telling your father that I want to be more than just your friend. That's not why I am hesitant to be with you. I just, I don't want you to regret being with me. Ever." He told her. "Although, speaking of your father. If we do plan on going theough with this," he grinned. "Then I want to see your father and ask him for his permission to date you. When I get out." He told her. "I don't want you to be the girl who got a boyfriend in prison. If we do this then it will be when I am released. Is that okay?" He asked her.
Sam wanted to say If you want to not make me regret it then don't do anything to make me regret it. But she thought if she did that he would take it the wrong way. So she just listened without saying anything. She wanted Nate to get everything off his chest. She sighed when he brought up her father. She nodded again. "Okay, I agree, I guess." she finally said. Sam understood what he wanted. And if that's what he wanted to do then, she would agree with him.
Nate nodded. "Well, that wasn't up for negotiation, Sam." He said with a smirk and chuckle. He cleared his throat. "So, when I call tonight before I have to get off I want to talk to your father." He told her with a nod. He was terrified about what Hunter Walker would do to him. So he figured a phone call might be and then he'll ask to see Hunter face to face. He wanted to do this right. Nate wanted to do right by Sam. And he was determined to.
"Hush up mister know it all." Sam said. He always had something smart to say but, she thought it was cute. "Umm, okay I think he will be home by then." she said, she knew he liked being home before her so he cooked but, she also knew that the department. Could try or need to keep him for some more time. Sam was about to speak again but she saw Silas walking over to them. She sighed and rolled her eyes. "Here we go.. I swear, well.. you won't have to worry about him for to long." she whispered for only Nate to hear with a smirk.
Nate chuckled. "I love it when you call me that." He said with a smirk. He nodded. "Alright. Sounds good. Have any tips for me when I talk to him?" He asked her. He glanced over and saw Silas. He narrowdd his eyes and nodded. "Yeah, seven or so months left with the asshole." He muttered to her. Silas smirked as he walked up to them. "Rush, you have another vistor. This one is requesting a conjugal visit. It's your baby momma." He said. Nate froze. Erin was wanting to see him? Now? What the fuck? He scoffed. "Like hell I'm doing a conjugal visit with her."
Sam sighed, Silas injoined making her feeling like nothing. Even if his problem was with Nate, He should tell think that what he was saying wasn't only messing with Nate but, her as well. Yeah, he has got to go.. she thought to herself. She glanced up at Silas and smirked. If he wanted to play than she would play as well. "Hey." she waved at him cutie with a fake smile, that only Nate could see through. "... See my time with him, is not up." She said as she pointed to the clock that hung on the wall and then she finished talking. " So you can tell that little hoe that if she wants to see him.. She can come out here like all the rest." Her smile quickly faded. "Or you can kiss your job goodbye." she said with a wink, her father being who he has had some benefits. The only thing she had to do was tell him, she didn't like how he was doing his job and Silas would have no choice but to kiss his badge goodbye.
Silas looked over at Samantha and raised an eyebrow. He glanced at the clock and shrugged. "Figured he'd want to get an easy fuck with his girlfriend who's pregnant with his child." Nate growled and stood up. He got right up in Silas' face. "Say it again and I punch you again. You really wnat that?" He asked. He could see the brief look of fear pass over his face and smirked. "Now, I believe Sam told you give Erin a message." He said with as he sat back down. He purposely ignored Silas until he left and then let out a sigh. He glanced at Sam and grinned. "You'd actually get your father to fire him?" He asked her
Sam watch Silas walk off, once he disappeared. Her eyes went back to Nate and she smiled with a shrug. "Yes, because he is always messing with you and now he is getting me pissed." Sam said, she was tired of him thinking he could get away with it. Just because he was an officer didn't mean shit. And it seem like no one else was going to teach him that, so why not.. Sam sighed as she heard footsteps she didn't want to be Erin and that annoying officer and that's when it hit her. What if it was Silas's kid.. Since he was happy to share it being Nate's that thought made her frown. She shook her head and looked up at Nate. "Sorry.." she apologized softly.
Nate grinned. "You know I've never had someone do that. Honestly, I think I just fell for you a little bit more." He told her with a wink. He saw Erin coming towards them and sighed. She had her hands on her stomach and it seemed to him that she was pissed. Great. Just what he wanted. A pissed off Erin. He rolled his eyes. He saw Sam's frown and cocked his head. "Everything okay?" He asked her.
Sam blushed at his ways. She was glad to hear him say that he actually fall for her, she glanced down at her hands again. But then she looked up when she heard Nate's voice. And she shook her head, not wanting to talk about it in front of their new guest. Erin sighed and rolled her eyes when she saw Sam. Of course he wasn't coming to see me in the back because of her. she thought to herself. Erin waited for Silas to pull a chair out for her before she sat down. From what Sam could tell she was only two months, and that was pushing it. Sam giggled and shook her head. "Can you leave.. I want to talk to my baby alone." Erin said loud enough for the other guests to hear her. Sam raised an eyebrow and looked at her up and before she glanced at Nate. Sam didn't see why he liked her if girl's like Erin was his type. "I have a simply ass answer for you.. Noppe" Sam said with a smirk as she looked back at Erin for a second.
Nate frowned when Sam looked down at her hands. He sighed softly and then he growled as Erin called him her baby. "I am not your baby. Never was and never will be, Erin." He told her harshly. He didn't give a damn if she was pregnant. If she was going to try and rile up Sam he was going to snap at her. He looked at Sam and grinned. He had been slightly worried that she would leave as soon as Erin came over to them. He wanted to put a hand over her hands but he knew that he wouldn't be able to get away with it this time due to Silas. He rolled his eyes as he saw Silas hovering nearby. "What do you want Erin? I'm in the middle of something so make it snappy and then get the hell out. I'm in no mood for your bullshit." He told her.
"Don't say you never was... i understand we are around your quick nut but we both know the truth." Erin said, she glanced over at Sam and smirked. "I bet he has you thinking your so damn special... But i am sorry to bust your bubble but your not the first girl he has done it to.. And honest you wont be the last." Erin added, it made Sam secoond think everything he said to her today and last night. Would he really lead her on? Sam rolled her eyes trying to not show that she was actually listening to Erin. "Girl please save that speech forsomeone." Sam said but she started playing with the ends of her hair as she thought over thing that he said to her.... No, she was wrong.. he really did fall for her.. right?
Nate growled at Erin and stood up. He glared down at her. "Erin. You and I were never a thing. We fucked and that's all that we were. We never told each other any promises. We tried that one time and it lasted for a week before you were off fucking someone else. Now lay off, Sam. If you can't shut the fuck up then I'll have one of tbe guards escort you out and tell them that I have no desire to see you and that you aren't allowed to come back. At least not for me." He glanced over at Silas who seemed to be making fists with his hands. He smirked. "But you're not here for me are you? What happened to whatever his name was? Now your with Silas James? Does he know what a slut and convict you are?" He asked her. He leaned forward. "If you don't start repecting Sam then I'll give the cops your name." He said softly. Nathan noticed Sam had begun to play with her hair and swore in his head. He didn't want her to believe any of the bullshit that Erin was spewing. "Ah fuck it." He reached for her hand and pulled her into his arms. He leaned his head towards her ear and whispered to her. "Don't believe her. Please. Everything I've told you has been the truth." He was pulled back by two guards, he was surprised it wasn't Silas but he was then patted down thoroughly. He let them and then was allowed to sit down again with a warning.
"Yes i cheated while you was trying to all mister goody two toes.. I broke up with you.. not the other way around.." Erin said as she sat and watched Nate. She actually didn't know who kid it was but it was fun to say it was Nate's he really thought it was going to be that easy to get rid of her. She only stopped fucking with someone when she decided to and she was done fucking with Nathan so Sam had to go plan as simple. Sam was shocked when he pulled her to him, he was rough but gentle at the same time. Her body relaxed when he spoke. She nodded to his words and was about to speak but thr guards pulled him off her before she could say anything. Sam down at the same time Nate did, Erin shock her head. "Has for respecting her..She can kiss my ass." Erin said as she watched Sam sit down and shook her head again. "You really got this young girl wrapped around your fringer. With the lies you tell." She said, and that was it for Sam. She tried to wait until Erin left but, she wasn't show no signs of leaving. So Sam stood up, she said nothing. She didn't look at Nate as she grabbed her stuff and left she was done for the day. Erin knew him longer so maybe she did know her better than Sam. She ran her hand through her hair and walked to her car. She felt like crying but, she just decided to hold it in.
Nate narrowed his eyes at Erin. That was it. He was not going to allow Erin to ruin his visit with Sam. He slammed his hand down onto the table and opened his mouth to snap at Erin when Sam got up and left. Shit. He stood up and went to follow her but felt a hand on his shoulder pushing him back down. "Sam!" He called out as she left him. He groaned and then turned his attention onto Erin. "You're not welcome back here to see me. I'll tell the guards you're on my shit list. I swear to god, Erin. The one good thing I have in my lufe and you find a way to fuck it all up. That baby is sure not mine. I don't plan on taking care of it or you. You can both go to fucking hell for all I care." He then stood up and walked away from her. When Silas stepped in his way he glared down at the man who had fesr in his eyes clear as day. The look in Nate's eyes was murder. He was pissed off and hurt that Sam had left. He pushed passed Silas and walked back to his cell. He would wait for his phone call tonight.
Erin was actually shocked that Sam left without saying a word but it was fun. Watching her cute blonde hair move as she walked away. Sam heard Nate call for her but she didn't want to stop. If she stayed any longer she knew she was going to cry. She walked out the building and sighed. She loved how the air blow in her face. She glanced back at the door Should i go back in? she asked herself but she quickly shook her head. That was a conversation that they really should have to themselves. Sam got into her car and drove off. She was going to head off home first but she quickly decided she wasn't in the mood to cook. So she went and stopped at a fast food restaurant Sonic's that was a few streets down before she was home. Erin glared at Nate as he so-called snapped at her. She sighed as he walked off. He was really serious about this blondie? She wasn't even his type.. Erin shook her head with a smirk. She stood up with the help of Silas. He walked her out to her car. After that she drove off, she couldn't help herself. She called Ruth and told him what happened and even though he told Nate's Ruth that he would lay off Sam. The man couldn't tell Ruth not to think or dream about everything he wanted to do to the girl. So Erin's news really bothered him but he didn't do anything about it.
Sam always got out her car to order Sonic's rather than just use their drive-thru. Anyone that knew her onee that, which is way she wasn't suprise when Owen pulled up and parked right beside hers. Sam was sitting down waiting for them to be done with her food. "Hey. Did you get my letter?" He asked as he sat across from her. He frowned when he saw her face. She was not only sad but she was pissed off to. "Whats wrong?" He asked, Sam just ignored him.
Nate went through everything that Erin had said and he was getting angrier and angrier with each passing minute. Not only at Erin, but at himself, Silas, and even at Sam. She had left him! Left him with the evil bitch and that jackass of a guard. He was fuming by the time one of the other guards came to get him for the phone call. It was only a little while after everything had happened. He knew that she was probably at home or perhaps just arriving. Or if she needed to she probably stopped for some food. But he was calling her right now. He needed to talk to her. He also needed a good outlet for all this anger. He knew that he should go to the gym and take all of his anger out on a punching bag but he needed to make sure that everything was alright with him and Sam. Erin was right when she said Sam wasn't normally his type. But there was a reason to that. Sam was, is his type. He'd always had a things for blonds. But he had fell in love with a blond that had broken his heart by dying when he was in the hospital sick and hadn't wanted to taint her memory by jusy fucking and leaving blond girls because he wasn't ready to give his heart away. So he mainly stuck to girls that looked nothing like his old girlfriend; brunettes and any other hair color. But with Sam, it was different. He groaned and put his head on the wall once he walked up to the phone. He sighed and took a deep breath before picking up the phone from off it's cradle and dialing Sam's number.
Sam was still waiting on her order. She had only been there for a couple of minutes, she glanced over at Owen. Who of course was still sitting there. She glanced at her phone when it rung it was Nate. She wanted to talk to him but she didn't at the same time. She bit her lip and Owen eyebrow raised at the sight. Sam decided to answer knowing it would make Nate feel some type of way, if she didnt. She connected the call. "Hey.."she said nervously. Owen smirked he heard that Sam was fucking with some dude in prison. It was funny to him actually, he planned on getting Sam back of the guy wanted him to or not. "Who's that??... Your prison boyfriend. You know i heard about him. He is honestly a fail to have you out here without him around." Owen said with a chuckle and a wink. "I am not in the mood, today.. so shut the fuck up and leave me alone." She said as she sighed.
Nate was relieved to hear Sam's voice. Some of his anger dissipated but then he heard another dude's voice. He gripped the phone hard. "Sam, who's that? That better not be the asshole who's been stalking you. Where are you?" He asked. His anger was back in full force. Damn it. Where was she? He could hear cars zooming by and figured she'd stopped somewhere to eat. Did she ever tell her father about that fucking ex of hers? He doubted it. He growled. "Fuck. Sam." He growled. "Tell me you told your dad about this asswipe."
Sam sighed when she heard Nate get more upset. "I am at Sonic.. And no i didn’t." She answered honestly it was no point in lying. "Pft so you got this nigga 21 questioning your ass?... Come on now, you would usually tell a dude to stuff it." Owen said with a chuckled as he leaned on the table and stared at her. She was so beautiful, he honestly didn't understand why he even let her go. "Mmm.." he said as he bit his lip looking at her. Sam just ignored him and his nosies.
Nate shook his head. She was at Sonic. Which explained why she got out of her car. He sighed. "Can you go back home now? Did you already get your food? Sam, I don't want you alone with this guy. He sounds like a creep." He told her once he took a deep breath. "I also want to talk to you about everything that happened today without another audience." He rolled his eyes. First they had his crazy ex fling and now this guy. Sam's stalker ex-boyfriend. He cleared his throat. "I also need to still talk to your dad." He told her. "Sam, why did you leave?" He asked her. He needed to know the answer to that question first. If she was always going to believe the worst of him then there was no point in talking to her father to get permission to date her.
Today Sam had a job interview for one of the town's hospitals, she left feeling that she did great. She wasn't able to see Nate since she had the interview but she knew he would call. Since he always did, it was their thing. She drove to the corner store for some snacks and that's when she saw Ruth, he automatically recognized her and smiled. Really? she thought to herself, she didn't say or do anything she just kept walking. "Sammy!" he yelled as ran after her, she quickly turned around and frowned at him. "Stop calling me that." she said, Ruth was shocked she said anything but he nodded. He honestly liked it, she seemed a little different but the same at the same time. "I just wanted to check up on you but, you haven't been answering my calls." he said, Sam shrugged her shoulders at his words. She told him to lose her mother.. Right? He sighed when she didn't respond but then he thought something that would get some time of reaction out of her. "You know Erin is pregnant?" he asked, knowing the answer since she didn't even talk to Erin to know. "No.. and why would i give a shit?" she asked confused into why he brought her up, she thought he was going to say it was his. But instead, he said. "Because its Nate's." he had a smirk on his face. He could tell that his words hurt her. Sam didn't expect that at all. She closed her eyes and sighed. "Well tell her.. Congratulations then." she said before walking off. Ruth didn't follow her after all he got what he wanted, he could tell she fall for Nate and now that she knew he was about to be a father. The good, sweet Samantha wouldn't continue whatever the two had.
