Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate glanced up and npticed Samantha. He immediately knew she knew about his illness. He sighed. "You know." He merely said. He could tell because she wasn't looking him in the eye anymore. He waited for her response and whens he asked him the question and finally looked up he realized he didn't see any pity in her eyes. He frowned and then shrugged. "The last time I told someone their view of me changed. And the way they acted changed. I didn't want that to happen again, Sam. That's why I didn't tell you. Besides, I don't tell anyone. And I've been friends with people for a lot longer than we have and they have no clue. That part of my life is not something I want to look back on." He told her with his head in hands. He sighed. "But, now that you know and all that shit. What do you want to know?" He asked her.

Asylumm | 320 comments "About the whole situation?... Nothing." Sam said with a slight frown. She decided didn't want to know anything else about his past. The past is the past she thought to herself, Her father used to always say that when she was younger but, he slowly stopped saying it the older she got. But she never forgot those words. "So how is your new little group in here?" she asked, deciding that the sad vibes and be around them for too long. She didn't like when someone was sad around her, and even though he would not ever admit it. He seemed sad to her.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate looked up at her expecting a whole bunch of questions to come flying out form her. His eyebrows shot up when she didn't ask him anything. "Really?" He asked her. He sat up and frowned. "Shit... You really aren't like other girls are you?" He asked her with a shake of his head. He laughed as she asked about the gang. "Fine." He shook his head again, amazed by this girl sitting in front of him. "So how's your life, Sam? I got a question for you by the way. Does your family know about you visiting me in jail?" He asked her.

Asylumm | 320 comments She was taking back by him words. Is that a good or bad thing? she asked herself, she thought about asking him but quickly decided not to. It would just be one of the many questions she kept to herself. She nodded when he answered her question. But then he asked, the question that she actually hoped would never come up. Wasn't obvious that they didn't since she told him about how her family was. "Nope, they have no idea... And no offense I am trying to keep it that way at least for now." she said with a shrug of her shoulders, her hands moved from her hair to the table in front of her. "They would straight up kill me.. and won't feel bad for it either." she said with a smirk. She knew her parents better than anyone, so she has thought of how the whole situation would go in different angles. No matter what she would say she knew it would end with them getting their way.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate nodded and then shrugged. "Hey no worries. Besides, who am I gonna tell?" He said and then smirked. "I can be your dirty little secret." He laughed at his own sick joke. He glanced over at Trent who just shook his head in response. Nate shrugged. "Alright, I get the fact thag you wanted to change the topic off of me and my past. But I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that you heard everything from me and my mom's conversation here just a little while ago, correct?" He nodded. "Then you also now know that my mom is sick." He sighed. "Please don't tell anyone about that. She and my dad don't want any sympathy. When I got sick it was the same way. That's why I wasn't in public school starting the sixth grade. I was the new kid in 8th grade. My illness went on for years but I didn't want anyone to look down on me or feel bad for my parents because they had a dying son. And then my mom..." He scoffed. "My mom went and got cancer right along with me. Now you know why I said what I said about life yesterday." He told her.

Asylumm | 320 comments Blondie listened to Nate's words. Before she spoke. "I understand.." she said, she never even thought about telling anyone. "Who would I tell.. it's not like I have friends." Sam sighed with a giggle, she then shrugged her shoulders at herself. "I haven't even been talking to Ruth, lately." she said, which was the truth she never even knew why but she wasn't talking to him. Maybe because he tried to make her come to out with him with the group. She sighed as she glanced down for a second. "Even if i did have friends.. I won't tell. It's not my business to tell anyone." she said honestly.

message 57: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate nodded and then frowned. "No friends? I though you said you're taking classes to become a surgeon. Why don't you have any friends there?" He asked her. He shrugged. "Ruth is an ass. I never could understand why you hung out with the guy." He told her honestly.

Nate glanced over at Ruth and one of the other girls that seemed to have gotten an invite to their party tonight. Ruth had singled one out and now she was up against wall making out with him. He glanced around the group for the blonde hair but didn't see it. He frowned. Didn't he see her here just a short while ago? They had come down to the beach for a small bonfire that consisted of various alcohols and snacks. Again he had noticed that she had played with the ends of her hair as someone mentioned something about going into the ocean at night. Nate looked down the beach and saw that blond hair whipping back and forth with the wind. His nerves ceased and he let out a relieved breath. He shook his head. Damn this girl was getting under his skin. He had been worried that she went into the ocean and... He shrugged the thought off. No one had drowned in the ocean in a while now. He stood up from the log he had been sitting on and began walking over to where Sam was when he heard the cry. "Yeah! Nate's going to the water! Let's go bitches!" He glanced back and watched as the group begans shedding their clothes and running to the edge of the water. He watched the girla shriek at the sudden coldness against their skin. He smirked and pulled off his shirt before grabbing his pants. He stopped in front of Sam. "Ypu coming in?" He asked her. "Don't worry you don't have to get naked if you don't want to. I'm not." He said with a shrug as he took off his pants and stood there in his boxers. He then clapped her on her shoulder and took off towards the ocean. He dove in underneath the water. He always found that it was better to immerse your entire body with the freezing water.

"Why did, I mean why do you hang out with him?" He asked her.

Asylumm | 320 comments She had never been to the beach before and to be out in the beach. At night and with people like this made her nervous. She sighed when she heard some feet coming from behind her. She knew it was unlikely that it was Ruth since he seemed to be busy with another that he had invited. But, honestly, she didn't care. She actually happy that he was giving someone else his annoying attention. She glanced over when she saw that it was Nate, she gave him a smile. But when he spoke she didn't respond. She just watched him dive into the water. She wears a bra and shorts since after being in Mr. Parkers's pool made her little comfortable with her body. But she still didn't want to get in. She shook her head softly to herself and started walking back to the logs that the group was just at. She sat down and watched everyone else swim around in the water.

"I am not really talkative. Besides my classes is more like.. a job for me. I don't need to have friends there." Sam said with a shrug, she only spoke to a boy in one of her classes because she had forgotten her pen in the car. And she didn't want to walk all the way back to her car and the boy was sitting right next to her. So it was like a 'why not' situation. Other than that she never spoke to any of the other students in her class. "Ruth?... Honestly.. he was the only person that was nice to me in school. Everyone else either didn't notice me or didn't want anything to do with me because of my father." she told him. She knew Ruth was not the best person but, he was the only person that treated her like a natural person.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate raised an eyebrow and shook his head. "I don't see how a pretty girl like you could not have friends." He told her. He listened to her explain why she hung with Ruth and he frowned. "Okay, I have a few problems with your explanation, Sam." He told her leaning forward in his seat. "See, number one, you are gorgeous and it would be hard not to notice you. So I don't think anyone in high school didn't notice you. I know when I was there I noticed you. Maybe I didn't give you much thought afterwards, but I noticed the pretty blond. And number two, why the hell would they care who your father is." He scoffed and then whsipered the next part since he knew she didn't want people knowing what it was her father did. "Why would your dad being a S.W.A.T member have anything to do with you?" He asked her. He ran a hand over the back of his neck and sighed. "I didn't approach you because I saw your innocence and I didn't want to taint you. And hoenstly, when some of the others took notice of you I warned them to stay away. You didn't need their horny asses." He told her. He rolled his eyes as he thought back to the first time he saw Sam. He had been a Sophmore.

Nate was leaning up against the lockers where his boys were shoving their books and papers in their lockers. He rolled his eyes. His own locker was clean and organized compared to theirs. Sure, it was probably not as clean as some but it definitely was better than theirs. He glanced over at the front doors and saw the new Freshmen walk in the door. He shook his head. Most of them would be new targets for the older ones. He felt bad for them. He was about to look away when something, no, someone caught his eye. The blond hair was what caught his attention, and those nice legs. But what he noticed as he looked at her was the innocent look on her face. He'd never seen someone so... Well, beautiful. He rolled his eyes. Now he was sounding like a pussy. He knew that this girl didn't need a fuck up like him. She was no doubt going places he could never imagine of going. He heard a fox whistle as Brandon turned to look at the blond. "Holy shit. Looking good freshman. What's your name, gorgeous?" He asked blondie. Nate looked away from the girl and rolled his eyes once again.

Asylumm | 320 comments Nate had a point she did get attention but it wasn't the one she wanted. She blushed slightly when he admitted that he did notice her but, he saw her just like everyone else. Just a pretty blonde. "Yeah, me being 'gorgeous' is not the attention I am talking about." She said as she rolled her eyes, she wasn't annoyed she just remembered all the boys that tired talking to her but they only wanted one thing. Ruth was no different but, he went about it differently. Even though his whole act was a lie, but at least he tried to act like he liked her more than for her look. "I don't like when people just see a pretty face... At least get to know me damn." she said, she sighed as she thought about Nate's words. "I don't know.. They just thought that i was enforcement daughter so i would rain on their fun." she whispered back to him.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate cocked his head and then rolled his eyes at her. "I don't think they saw just a pretty face, Sam. At least, I didn't. I'll admit what I first saw was a smoking hot girl. But then my gaze was drawn to your face and I saw something that I'm not exactly sure how to describe. It was almost like innocence." He told her. He sighed and shook his head. "Well then, be happy you're not their friends. A real friend wouldn't give a flying fuck whp your father was. They'd want to be around you no matter who or what your father did." He told her forcefully. He really was getting worked about this. He wasn't sure why. Perhaps he had a tendency to fix people's problems and that was coming up right now. He did want to help Sam. But he couldn't do much sitting here in fucking prison. He really hated how his life was turning out. So far Sam was the only bright thing in his life.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam nodded to his words, he was getting a little upset she could tell from his voice. "Sorry.." she said softly she didn't know why but she felt like she had to apologize for getting him upset. She was supposed to bring him happiness. "I will i only have you.. you're the most closet person I have to a friend." She said with a shrug. She glanced down at her phone that was on her lap like always. She frowned when she saw her father's number appear on her screen. He was at work, he never called unless something is wrong. She answered the phone without thinking. "Hi dad.." she said with a smile, that quickly faded when she heard her father's voice. It sounded like he had been crying. On her sweet face, appeared a frown. "What's wrong?" she asked, her heart dropped when he spoke in her ear. Her parents got in accent last night on the home from the party. She stood up as her eyes begin to water. "I am on my way.." she said as she left, not even saying goodbye to Nate. She rushed into her car and speed off to the hospital with her father still on the phone explaining what happens. To hear him cry was new to Sam, the man never cried so she knew deep down that something was wrong.

Once she was at the hospital, she parked her car and run inside. A guard stopped her from going to the back. "Excuse me.. my mother is back there." she said with her father still on the phone. But she hung up when she saw him. "She is alright." he said, the guard nodded and let Sam pass. She wrapped her arms around her father like she was a little girl once again. He was the only survivor from the crash.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate sighed and shook his head. "Don't apologize, Sam." He told her. He didn't want her to apologize to him for anything. He froze when she told him he was the closest thing she had to a friend. Well, shit. He rubbed the back of his neck and looked down at his lap before looking back at her. He opened his mouth to tell her that honestly, she was the closest thing to a true friend. He knew that the group he hung out were most likely never going to visit him in here. The only people to visit him was Sam and his mother. But then he saw her look down and answer a phone call. He waited for her. He could tell she was worried and stressed. He watched her and when she stood up abruptly and left him without a goobye. He stood up and watched her leave. He sighed and ran a hand down his face. He felt a hand on his shoulder. "Guess she finally realized you're just a pile of shit, now didn't she? Good for her." Silas said as Nate felt the grip on his shoulder tighten. Nate's hands fisted at his side and shrugged off Silas' hand. "Don't touch me." He growled and then stalked back to the pison area. He nodded at Trent who began walking with him. "Don't worry about it, bud. She'll be back." Nate nodded. "Thanks Trent. Uh... I might want a phone call soon." Trent smiled and nodded. "I can make that happen." Nate let out a relieved breath. He wanted to make sure that she was alright.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam always thought the people that cried after losing someone in movies, were weak but, seeing her mother laid out on a metal table. Was like a pain she never felt. She placed her hand on the glass that was in between Sam and her mother. Tears ran down her face, even though she didn't want them to. "I am sorry for your lost." said a nurse, Sam didn't even look at her. "Just get out my damn face." she said, her sweet voice was nowhere to be heard at the moment. Her voice was rough from her crying so much and hard. Samantha's father was sending papers and answering questions. She took her mother gained thinking she would always be there when she woke up like she always was. But she wasn't going to be there for her anymore. She placed her forehead on the class as she remembered one of her sweetest memory of her and her mother.

"What happened?!" shouted her mother as she saw Samantha trying to sneak upstairs. But Sam always lost to her mother when it came to her sneaking around. But today Sam wished she could have won, since the little bully of her decision to be a little more rough than usual. He pushed her down a hill, she had a small cut on her lip. She had alot of bruises from were the rocks hit her at. Once Sam finally told her mother the truth. She went and got care of it. Sam was never bullied again bit little blondes.,

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate had been back at the main area with the gang nervously wringing his hands together. He had seen the pain on Sam's face. Something went wrong. He groaned and placed his head in his hands as he waited for Trent to come and take him for a phone call. Z patted Nate on the back. "Boy, she's probably fine." Nate nodded but didn't pull his head out of his hands. Z laughed. "I thought you said she wasn't yours." Nate's head shot up and glared at the older man. "She isn't. She's...." he frowned. "A friend." He finished with a nod of his head. "Probably my first real friend in a long ass time." He said and he noticed how Miles was looking at him like he was a thing to be pitied. He growled. "Don't. I don't want to be pitied. I hate that." He said making Miles look away with a frown. He sighed and when he noticed Trent walking towards them he stood and met him halfway. "Come on. You get that phone call now." He said and Nate followed behind Trent. He glanced at the clock on the wall, it had been just over an hour or so. He sighed and when he was pointed at the phone he grabbed it. He had written her phone number down on a piece of paper and put it in his pocket. He pulled it out and dialed her phone. He waited for her to answer and when she did he could just tell she had been crying. He had heard that tone in a woman before on the phone. "Hey, Sam. It's Nate. I just wanted to call and see if you were alright. You left in a hurry." He said softly.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam sighed as they covered her mother's body, the last person Sam saw that died was her great-grandmother. But, Samantha was only seven, maybe eight years old. She hardly remembered the woman or even how she handled the whole situation. But she knew that she couldn't have felt to much pain since she didn't remember.
"Honey?" said a voice. Sam was so out of it. She didn't notice her father sitting next to her. Sam glanced over once he put his hand on her shoulder. "I am sorry." He said to her, he could see she had been crying. Her eyes were swollen and they were always red. He placed the same hand onto her cheek and started whipping her tears away. "I wish you didn't have to go through this." He said lightly. Sam got up with no emotion or a word, she glanced back at her father once she was on her feet. "Can we go now?" she asked. He opened his mouth to speak but, he decided not to and just nodded. As they walked to her car, Sam wanted to stop and ask what happen. Why did he let her mother died? But she honestly knew that she wouldn't be able to handle whatever he had to say right now. She got into the car, she waited for her father to get in before she finally drove off.

Once she was home, she walked into the house. It felt completely different, which made her want to car more. The house was her mother's project. From the kitchen to the last empty upstairs room on the left. It felt wrong not to have her there. But Sam still stayed silent. She walked up to her, and closed the door behind herself. She also locked it, not wanting her father to come inside. She glanced around at her room. It was her mother who painted her room 'Alice in Wonderland themed' Sam frowned at the sight of it all, she didn't want to even look at it anymore. She turned off her light, so it was pitch black since it was dark outside. She found her way to her bed and flopped down that's when her phone rung. She answered it without looking at the caller i did. What she heard was a robot at first saying This call is from a federal prison It asked for her permission to continue with the call. She frowned at first not knowing who it was, but once her brain wrapped around the whole situation she knew who it was. She accepted the call. "Hello.." she said, she soon heard Nate, and it was like her body relaxed. She sighed and bit her lip as she knew she didn't want to ask about the whole thing. "I am fine.. it was just my.. father called. He was worried about me, thats all." she lied, she hoped he would buy it.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate frowned at her response. He could tell that it was a lie. But he could also tell that she didn't want to talk about it at thay moment so he let it be. "Oh, okay. I, uh, well I was worried about you. And I just wanted to call and make sure you were alright. I would've called sooner but I had to go throught Trent to get a phone call. That took about an hour or so." He told her. He ran a hand through his hair glancing at the other men using the other phones. He could see that some were talking to their families, their lovers, he was sure one guy was calling a 900 number. His face twisted in disgust and looked away. He cleared his throat. "So... Where are you now?" He asked her. He wanted to help her be a bit more happy than she was now. "You know, when I was brought back to the main area of the prison the guys asked about you. Or at least Z did. You remember him?" He asked. "He keeps busting my ass about you not being "my woman." He keeps going on and on about a woman like you being snatched by another guy outside of prison. And if I know what's good for me I'll ask you to be mine and set up a conjugal visit and impress you with my sexual knowledge." He said with a laugh. Z had mentioned that the day before. He hadn't said any of that today because of how Nate had been acting. But Nate figured Sam didn't need to know that fact just now. He smirked into the phone. "Oh. And trust me, Sam. I could impress you." He said in his deep, husky, sexy voice. He then laughed.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam laid full in her bed as she listened to Nate. She wasn't able to get a word in but she didn't mind. It was nice to hear his voice actually, she never knew how relaxed he actually made her until now. Her back was pressed onto her headboard. When he brought up Z, she remembered Nate calling some guy that name. But she still didn't speak, she just nodded to herself. As he continued. She stays quiet for the most part but she couldn't help but to giggle at Nate's voice. "Okay.. first let's agree that you never.. ever use that voice again." she said with a bright smile on her face. "Secondly you can tell Z that.. Honestly, no one is going to snatch me up.. I am fine were i am." She added with a sighed as her smile slowly went away but, Nate was keeping her calm. She frowned as she heard footsteps at her door, she glanced over when her door nob wiggled. "Honey?.. Who are you talking to?" her father asked from behind the door. She sighed and rolled her eyes, she placed her phone on her lap, hoping Nate wouldn't hear her. Since she never actually been on the other end of it. "On the phone with a friend.. what do you want?" she said. "Are you hungry?" he asked. "No" Sam answered quickly she waited to hear him walk away before she placed her phone back to her ear.

Nina (lananina) | 429 comments Nate grinned as he heard Sam giggle. "What? You mean this voice?" He asked in the same deep, husky, sexy voice he had used before. He laughed and shook his head. "I'm so not making that promise. Because I'd just break it and I don't like breaking any promises." He told her with a grin. He leaned against the wall as he listened to her. He shook his head as she told him no one was going to snatch her up. He was about to respond when he heard a knock on a door and then could hear mumbles of a conversation. He waited for her to come back on before speaking. "So... I take it you're at home." He said. "Sam, are you in bed talking with a boy?" He asked in that same husky voice, with a smirk on his face. He laughed. "Okay. Going back to the topic at hand. Sam, someone will most definitely 'snatch you up.' Like I said before. Who gives a fuck what your father does? He's not you. Any guy would be so lucky to have you." He told her with a final nod of his head. "And don't even argue with me. Impossible woman." He said with a roll of his eyes.

Once she was sure that her father was gone, Sam's body relaxed again, she knew her father would disapprove of Nate, him being in prison and all but, she honestly liked talking to him more than Ruth. She actually stopped talking to that boy altogether, Nate called her beautiful and gorgeous on different times but she never felt weirded out by it like she was with Ruth. Nate understood his rule and he played it perfectly. Sam rolled her eyes with a smirk when Nate spoke, using that silly voice. When he went back the topic, Sam was about to squash his words but of course, he spoke again first. She rolled her eyes at his words. ".. Okay, then.. i might not want to be snatched up. Did you ever think of that mister know it all." she said not being able to hold back her sight giggle. "I might want to be one of the old ass ladies with a lot of animals." she said as she shrugged her shoulders.

He said trying to keep a straight face and failing completely. "You know I truly believe it would be a travesty to the world if you didn't get snatched up. I mean, what has the world come to!" He yelled and then looked around as he got glares. "Sorry." He said and he glanced at the guards, Trent was there and he just smirked and shook his head at Nate. Nate chuckled and shrugged. "And, also, thank you for calling me by my name. I've been trying to get people to understand that I know everything." He teased her. "And you know something, I could totally see you surrounded by animals." He told her.

I mean there are other gorgeous girls out there so don't think the world would be soo fucked up if one of them decided not to be with anyone." she said, Sam shook her head, he didn't know everything. But, it was kind of cute that he did. "Yes, you should get that tattooed somewhere." she said with a smile. She nodded to his comment. "I know I actually love animals." she said. She thought it was nice of Nate to check on her, it meant he cared at least a little. Which is better than none. Samantha sighed softly as she glanced over at the time. "Hey, you should try calling you mom.... to much sure she got home okay." she said without even thinking, which made her come back to reality. She could feel herself about to cry but, she tried swallowing down the tears since she was on the phone. Crying on the phone with Nate of all people, was just a Hell no

I'm getting that tattooed tomorrow." He said. He honestly didn't know if he wanted more tattoos at the time. Though, he thought it would hilarious if he did in fact get that tattooed on his body. He wondered what Sam would say when she saw it. He shook his head. His smile faltered as she told him he should call his mom. He shook his head and sighed. "I can't, Sam. I wish I could... God I really wish I could. But..." He groaned softly. "Sam, my father isn't someone who wants to hear my voice. And my mother rarely picks up the phone." He told her. He could feel the tension on the line and frowned. He knew something wasn't right with Sam. "Sam... You know, you can talk to me. You told me that I could talk to you. A normal person. Well, same goes for you, missy. You can tell me anything. Are you okay?" He asked her softly. He glanced at Trent who pointed at his watch and Nate held up a finger. Please. Five more minutes.<\i> He mouthed to Trent who sighed and nodded. Nate nodded gratefully. He held the phone to his ear. "Sam..." He said in a soft, soothing voice. "Talk to me."

Asylumm | 320 comments She knew she blow it when he asked for her to talk to him. She sighed, she didn't want to tell him. It would make it real and she didn't want it to be real. But she knew it was, and knew that she would have to tell someone. Or she might just go a little nuts herself. "It's mom.. s-she's.. she's dead.." she said finally, hearing the words coming out her mouth. Sam couldn't hold back the tear any longer. How could she be gone? She was supposed to be there when she graduated from college... Walk her into her first hospital interview.. Be there at her wedding.. To see her children... Sam sighed knowing that Nate probably didn't want to her crying on the phone. She got a hold of herself and sighed as she whipped away her own tears. "I am sorry.." she said as she sniffled. She just wanted her mom to come in the room and wrap her arms around her, to tell everything is going to be okay.

Sam was crying on her bed, her boyfriend just called to break up with her. She thought he was the one, he was always sweet and kind to her until a year ago but her father said all boys went through it. Not thinking to much on it and looked where it got her. It was her birthday and she was spending upstairs in her room. Not wanting to be around anyone. But Sam's mother came in and sat on the edge of the bed. At first, she didn't say anything she just ran her hand through her daughter's hair. Watch matched her own, the only thing Sam had that came from her father was here freckles. Sam's mother cheeked her head and sighed before she spoke. "Guess what.." said she softly, Sam didn't speak just glanced over at her mother. "You don't need a boy to be happy.. You can be happy all by yourself, just let your heart be your guide." she said.

After that day that's all Sam ever tried to do was follow her heart. Even when she knew that her parents what not provide. From what her mother said, she was the only one that could make her happy. Sam sighed softly. "I know you should be getting off soon.. I will let you go. My fucked situation can wait." she said with a shrug.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate waited for her to respond. He bit his lip and then when she finally told him he felt his heart go out to her. But he had a feeling that she didn't want to be pitied just like he didn't. He sighed softly. "Shit, Sam. That sucks." He said softly. He ran a hand down his face. He was glad that she wasn't in front of him right now. He knew his face showed that he pitied her. And he did. But he would not show her that. He glanced at Trent and nodded. "Yeah. I better get going. I'm... sorry you lost your mom, Sam." He told her. "I'll talk to you later, okay?" He said before the phone was taken out of his hand and hung up for him. He turned and glared at Silas James. "You went over your time, Rush. Other priaoners have people they wanna call as well." He growled. Nate rolled his eyes and walked away from him. He walked over to Trent. "Thanks." He said and walked out with the man leaving a fuming Silas. He roleld his eyes. What the hell was the dude's problem with him? He didn't do anything to the guy. Did he?

Nate sighed as he saw a couple of the football players knocking around Silas James. He walked over and laid a hand on one of their shoulders. "Alright, alright. Lay off boys." He said. When they pulled back to look at him he shook his head. "Come on, dude's. It's not Silas' fault that his father is such an asshole that has done wrong to your family." He said. He groaned as he saw the rage in their eyes. "Don't. You won't win." He said and threw the first punch. He shook his head. "Want more? No? Good. Get out of here." He turned to Silas and held out a hand to help him up but it was slapped away. "I didn't need your fucking help, Rush. You're not needed you asshole." Nate raised an eyebrow. "Seriously?" Silas walked away and Nate shook his head and walked the other way.<\i>

Maybe it would have if her mother was alive. Samantha sighed as she sat in the dark. Her mind was overwhelmed she didn't know what to do. Sam laied down in the bed and just stared at the ceiling as tears ran down her face. "I loved you." Was the last words she said before her eyes finally closed at three in the morning.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate was led back to his cell since it was now late in the evening. He sighed as he laid down on the bed in the cell. He ran a hand over his face. He couldn't fathom what Sam was feeling after the passing of her mother. He sighed softly. He then turned over and fell right to sleep.

The next morning at breakfast as he was taking his medicine without having the gang notice his mind was on Sam once again. He wondered when her mother's funeral would be and where. He also wondered if he would be able to send so.e flowers to Sam from inside the slammer. He doubted it but he could always ask Trent. He groaned attracting the attention of the other guys. "Doing alright over there, Nate?" Z asked. He nodded. "Yeah, just fine. Hey, do you know if we can send flowers to someone from in here?" He asked them. Z raised an eyebrow and then smirked. "I knew you were a smart one. Finally showing that girl she's yours huh? Next step a conjugal visit?" Nate glared and shook his head. "Asshole. No. Her mom just died and I wanna send flowers for the funeral or something." He told them. They all sombered up and looked down at their food. "Ah shit, man. Sorry." Nate shrugged. "So... Flowers?" Ian shook his head. "Nah, man. You can't. I tried once to send them to my sister but I couldn't." Nate sighed and nodded. "I figured as much. Guess I'll just have to stick to the phone calls." He said with a shrug.

That night he again asked for a phone call. He dialed Sam's number. He still needed the paper. But once the number was dialed he put the paper back in his pant pocket.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam woke up the next morning by herself this time. She glanced around and sighed as lifted her body up to her headboard once again. She ran her hand through her messy blonde hair, that's when she noticed a piece of paper on the floor by the door. She shrugged not caring what it had to say, got up and walked out of her room stepping on the paper. She didn't feel like going anywhere today, so she decided to stay in for the day. Even though she never actually did it, She was always out even if it was just driving around having nothing to do. Sam walked into the kitchen, she ignored the fact that her mother would kill her for even being in it without her permission. Knowing that Sam had never cooked before. But she didn't want to do much, she looked into the refrigerator. She grabbed a bowl of grapes that her mother had clean the two nights ago. She smiled lightly grapes were her favorite. She grabbed the whole bowl and a bottle of water and run back upstairs. From what she could tell her father wasn't home and she didn't want him to come back and she not be in her room. She closed the door behind her with her foot. She had to put the grapes down and then go back to lock it. She sat on the edge of her bed eating grapes and brushing her hair.

Through the day she didn't do much. She stayed in her room. She watched some movies off her laptop since her mother had a rule about no TV in the bedroom. The only TV that was in the house was the one in the living room and Sam wasn't about to go downstairs. It was a good thing she had made a Netflix account. Ruth called a couple of times during the day but Sam didn't answer any of them. Not seeing the point to she knew that he was going to ignore the fact that she won't be in the mood for his bullshit. And that would just annoy her, so to avoid that all together she just let her phone ring. It had been some hours later, it was starting to get dark when her phone rung again, she paused her movie and popped a grape in her mouth. "Seriously.." she said as she rolled her eyes and glanced at her phone but, she frowned when she noticed it said 'unknown'. Which never happened on her phone but something told her to answer, so she did. When she heard the robot she knew who it was. She connected the call and popped another grape into her mouth. She flipped onto her back and glared at her ceiling. "Hi.. Mister know it all.. How you doing?" she asked with a playful voice. She was shocked that he called again, since he hung up on her the other night. But she was glad that he did none the less.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate grinned as she answered the phone call. He laughed. "Hey. Again thank you for calling me by my known title." He said with a shake of his head. Yeah, he'd get that tattooed on his body somewhere. "I'm doing good. How about you?" He glanced around the room amd saw Silas walking by. He remembered the night before. "Oh, hey about last night. I'm sorry about my abrupt whatever. I went over my allotted time and one of the guards got mad and hung up the phone for me." He told her. He wanted her to understanf that he hadn't just hung up on her like that. Especially not after she just told him about her mom. That would make him an ass. "So how was your day today? What'd you do? No, let me guess." He held a finger and then brought his finger to his lips. "Watching your pg-13 porn anime?" He asked with a chuckle. He was just teasing her. He leaned against the back of the wall and closes his eyes as he listened to her talk for a while. He liked the way she talked to him. He had never been on the phone this long with a girl. No one really called him when he was out. And if they did it was short and to the point.

Asylumm | 320 comments "I am fine.." she answered softly, she was taken by surprise when she heard him apologize for what happened yesterday. She never heard him apologize to anyone before. She smirked and nodded to herself. "It's fine.. I honestly thought you hung up on me." she said, deciding to be honest about how she felt. "Noooo.. i actually watched some scary movies thank you very much," she said making a pouting face. But now that he brought it up Sam did want to watch 'Attack on Titans' which was her favorite. It was the anime she wanted Nate to watch once he got out. She thought he would like it. "Ughh you just made it so that i am going to have to watch it before i go to bed tonight.." she said with a laugh.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate shook his head and glared at the spot he saw Silas walk by. She had thought he hung up on her. He really was getting irritated by Silas. He sighed and let it be for now. He chuckled as he heard a pout in her voice. "Ah. I see. And which scary movies did you watch? Saw? Jaws? The Shining? The Exorcist?" He asked in a creepy voice. He chuckled. "And which anime porn are you going to be watching tonight before bed, Sam?" He asked in that voice he used the night before. He liked that she thought of that voice as silly. Most girls he used it on thought it was sexy but then again he was trying to be funny right now. In the right context it would be sexy. He would be on top of under the girl looking at the girl. At Sam... He shook his head and frowned. What the heck?<\i> He thought to himself. He should not be thinking those thoughts towards Sam.

Asylumm | 320 comments She loved it when he did different voices. It was cute to her. "What is wrong with you with the old movies?" she asked, she loved old movies but, after watching them three or four times the movies became boring to her. "I was just watching Sinister." she said with a shrug it had been out for some time now but, she never saw it before so she thought why not. And so far it was good. "Attack on titans of course." she said with a bright smile on her face. "A new episode came out today." she added which made her smile harder.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate chuckled. "Are you kidding? The old horror movies are the best! Sure, the graphics might suck. I admit it. But they're still the best. Also, you gotta remember that for that time period they were ahead of the time." He told her with a smile. He loved watching old movies like those. He frowned. "Sinister? Never seen it. Is it good? You get freaked out?" He asked her. He could hear her smile through the phone as she told him the name of the anime she was planning on watching. "Attack on Titan huh? Sounds interesting. Tell me what it's about. Is this the one that you want to show me when I get out?" He asked her.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam giggled at his words as he talked about old movies, she nodded in agreement. Until she stopped herself noticing he couldn't see that. "I know all that... It just gets boring after a while." she said with a shrug of her shoulders. Sam didn't hear her father come in, he was leaned up against her door listening to her side of the conversation and so far, he didn't hear anything wrong with the conversation but then again he was only hearing her side. "Yeah, it is. I haven't finished it yet though and pft. i don't get scared that easily." she said. She was tougher than most would think. She popped two grapes in her mouth and smiled when Nate asked about Attack on Titans. "I am not going to tell you about the show.. Then it would be much fun now would it." she said. Sam's father was glad she had a friend to talk to since she did lose her mother. Not knowing this friend was in prison.

"Yeah, but going into the ocean scares you?" He asked. He remembered that even when he asked her to join them in the ocean that one night she had gone back to the logs and sat down. "Or is it just the ocean at night?" He asked her. When she responded to his question about her show he scoffed. "Ugh. Come on. It's gonna be quite a while before I'm gonna be able to watch it with you, Sam. So give a little bit story behind this anime porn I'm going to be watching." He said with a smirk. He glanced at Trent who just nodded to him. He still had a lot of time left. Good. He would have to make sure that Silas didn't hang up on her again.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam blushed when Nate brought up the ocean. "Yeah.. well kind." she said, she only swims in pools. The ocean just looked like it would swallow her small as whole. Which she knew was stupid but it was just how she thought. "I never swimmed in the ocean before." she said honestly, not feeling like she should hide it. She shook her head with a smile. "I am not telling you.. i bet if you ask around, one of your little friends have heard of it." she said. She glanced at her clock on the nightstand, she frowned a little bit. Realizing how late it was getting but, she wanted to stay up and talk more with Nate since she didn't come visit it was the least she could do. She popped another grape in her mouth.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate's eyes went wide. "Wait, what? You've never swam in the ocean?!" He shook his head. "And you've lived so close to the beach all this time?" He couldn't believe it. "Alright then. When I'm out of here I'm taking you to the beach and we're gonna swim in the ocean together." He told her. "And you cannot chicken out of it." He told her with a smile. He groaned. "Sam..." He practically whined. He shook his head. "Maybe I won't watch it then." He said with a smirk. He glanced back at Trent who held up fine fingers. He had five more minutes to talk with Sam. He sighed. Where did time go? He had no clue. "It's getting late and I have only five more minutes left of my phone usage. I don't want to have you get yung up on again." He told her.

message 89: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments What? How could he just tell her she couldn't chicken out? What if she wanted to? Sam sighed and shook her head at his words."You know you still going to want to watch it because you will be with me." She said boldly, even though she didn't mean for it to sound like. She nodded when he spoke about the time. "Oh.. okay, thats a good idea. I dont want you to get into trouble. Well night, sweet dream mister know it all." She said with a smile before she hung up. Once she placed her phone down it was like the world weighted down on her. She sighed and lifted herself up. Her father sighed softly on the other side of the door. He was happy for her having a friend, his daughter was a good girl. So he thought her friend was a good friend he walked to his bedroom closing the door quitly. Just in time since Sam unlocked her door and left out her bedroom with the bowel of grapes. There were still some in the bowel so she placed it back in the refrigerator before she walked upstairs back to her room.

Trent placed a hand on his shoulder and he looked up. "You're a good lad." He said and Nate laughed loudly. "Thanks, man."

The next afternoon another guard came to get him because he had a vistor. He grinned thinking it was Sam and followed the officer. He looked for her blond hair but stopped when he saw Erin. He raised an eyebrow as he took the seat across from her. "Erin." He said deadpanned. "I didn't expect to see you here to visit me. I figured you'd be off fucking someone else already. And you'd forget all about me." He told her bluntly.

((Do you want to play Erin?))

Erin smiled when saw Nate come from the back. She shrugged her shoulders at his words when he say down. She leaned back in her chair and acrossed her arms. "You never know.." she said, if she was honest she did start fucking around with someone else, he was actually from Nate's kittle grow of friends. It was Nate's fault for getting caught not hers so why would she should suffer for his actions. "Even if i am fucking someone else. I could never fully forget about you asshole." She said with a smirk. She actually wanted to come before but she was kind of busy with her new friend. But he went out of town for a week or two, so Erin decided to take this time to pop in on Nate. Make sure they didn't get her name out of him yet, was the main reason but of course she had to play like she cared a little bit. "How this prison life treating you?" She asked.

I'm not gonna snitch on you, Erin." He said finally. "I know that's why you came." He said with another eye roll. He sighed and then realized Sam could still come and see him and Erin talking. Fuck. Sam? she thought to herself then he started trying to rush her off. She put it together quick. She never liked Sam, she always seemed to get Nate's attention while they were out doing whatever the hell decided to do. "So little Sammy.. has been coming to visit you?" She asked with a raised eyebrow as she sat up in her chair.

"Yeah she has been. And don't call her Sammy. Her name is Sam, Erin." He growled at her. He really had no desire to talk with Erin right now. He wanted to be escorted back to the main prison area but he wasn't going to be rude to Erin. Unfortunately, that was not the kind of guy he was. He wasn't a complete asshole. Unlike some of the guys he had hung out and called friends. He sighed. "What does it matter to you anyways? So what if she's visiting me in prison. You sure aren't. Neither is any of the group." He said with a scoff. "And I don't really care. And don't lie to me. I know you're not planning on coming back after this. You just wanted to make sure you're name would stay out of this whole shitty situation and it is."

He felt a hand on his shoulder. "Get up. Now. You have no one visiting you so you need to leave." Silas said smirking. Nate glared at Silas. "Oh really? Come on, Silas. What the hell crawled up your ass?" He asked him as she pushed his hand off his shoulder and stood up. He was just a little bit taller than Silas. Silas pushed Nate but Nate didn't budge since he had bern expecting it. "Don't. Touch. Me." He warned. "I wasn't expecting that first punch. But you won't be getting another shot at it." He warned and then turned and stalked off to the main area. He was feeling pretty good about himself right then. He glanced at the time. Visiting hours would soon be closed and Trent would soon come and grt him for his phone call. He had decided that each day Sam didn't visit him he would call to talk to her.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam was still home, she still didn't feel like speaking to her father. She heard him moving around when she woke up, she laid in her bed and waited for him to leave before she even thought about getting up. She glanced at her clock and sighed. She didn't go to school yesterday so she had to go today. She rolled her eyes, not wanting to even live but, she knew she had to for her mother. Sam went to her closet after she took a shower, she glanced throw all of her things and couldn't find anything that she felt like actually wearing. She sighed and just grabbed some clothing. (view spoiler) Once she was done getting dress, she combed out her hair and grabbed her phone. Her bookbag was on the couch like always, she grabbed it as she walked passed it. She walked out of the house and locked the door. She didn't know why but she just had a feeling something bad was about to happen. She rolled her eyes and ignored it, she jumped into her car and headed to her school.

As Sam was at school, her father Hunter was driving to the prison. It didn't take long for the whole Sam going to the prison to meet some boy to get to him. Everyone that told him while he was on duty yesterday didn't believe it. She was the sweetest girl but Hunter put two and two together. This boy was who she was talking to last night. Once he parked his car, he walked into the prison. He had written the boy's name down when he heard about him. He was in uniform so he stood out from the citizens. "I am here to speak to Nathan Rush." he said, The guard was shocked but he nodded and mentioned for Hunter to follow him.

Nate frowned and followed the guard. They bypassed the visiting area walked into this special room. He was sat down in one of the chairs there and told to wait. He fidgeted nervously. Shit. What was going on? Why the fuck was he here? When the door opened revealing the uniform he knew who this man was without even looking at his face. He stood up and cleared his throat. He held out his hand for a handshake. "Hello, sir." He said respectfully. "I'm Nathan Rush." He said as he once again took a seat. Why was Sam's father here? How'd he know about him? Shit. Erin.

This boy was not good enough for his daughter. He would ruin her. She had goals and obviously, he didn't since he was in here after all. He watched Nathan sit before he sat in the chair across from him. Hunter sighed, even though Samantha wasn't talking to him right now. It was still his job to protect her. "Listen, i know that my daughter has been coming here to see you.. apparently," Hunter said with a slight shrug of his left shoulder. "But that all stops now. You are not good enough for her.. Look where your at.. She is special.. Your are just another young troubled boy who happened to noticed her.. Your not going to ruin my daughter's life." Hunter added. He loved Samantha, she was all he had left on this world and he wasn't about to let this idiot break her down.

"But, I will respect your wishes and stay away from Samantha from now on." He took a deep breath. "Is that all?" He asked as he stood up. He would not be calling Samantha tonight or any other night. And he would never see her again. That knowledge hurt. He wanted to see her. But he also knew that her father loved her and wanted what was best for her. Before he exited the room he turned back to face Hunter. "Mr. Walker, sir, I'm deeply sorry for the loss of your wife." He said and then he was gone. He was taken back to the main area and the gang gathered around him asking him where he was taken to and what happened.
