It's time for our annual Glamoween read!

This October, we're reading Anne Rice's cult-classic, Interview With A Vampire. I'm typically someone who shies away from anything "scarier" than Twilight or the Discovery Of Witches series, but I've been assured this book won't freak us out. What it will do is keep the pages turning while getting us in the Halloween spirit.

Can't wait to read through your thoughts on this American classic and anything you'd like us to cover during October's Book Club meeting on Thursday, October 25th @ 6 PM PST/9 PM EST!

I saw this interview in 2014 and I added this book to our P&G BC short list. I'm excited its number is finally up! https://www.iamsecond.com/seconds/ann...

Currently reading Anne Rice's memoir Called Out of Darkness, and doing some research on her life, her homes, and her prolific bibliography (she's fascinating). I read was inspired by her conversations with God after losing her daughter Michelle to leukemia. The book was written in the five weeks following her daughter's passing.

We chose to read Interview With A Vampire this year because Anne's Vampire Chronicles series is coming to Hulu with the same producer as the Handmaid's Tale!

P.S. How cool is it that Ann Rice is doing all these things, with her son by her side, at the age of 76?!
