I've finished the challenge and now I'm not sure how to select books to read next. Any ideas?

You should check out the thread for everyone’s favourite book of the challenge this year ("Popsugar wants to know your favorite challenge book"). It seems like a promising place to get some ideas! 🙂
Stacey that's a great idea!Ruthla8 - you could also check out old Popsugar challenges and pick a few prompts to work on. Links to the old challenges are in this thread:

Love the suggestions already posted - especially the suggestion to read some of those from the favorite book thread. I too have finished challenge. I'm currently:
- catching up on books published the last couple years by favorite authors - these are mostly mystery, romance, or contemporary fiction by women authors
- reading books favorably reviewed by group members - such as Beautiful Exiles
- un-suspending library holds and reading those as they are released to me - just had The Fifth Season download from NYPL after un-suspending my hold. Have some really interesting books on interminable holds which I suspended when I was in the midst of challenge reading.
Once I'm through with those - in another week or so - I'll start
- working on filling the prompts for 2015 Pop Sugar Challenge as I had not done that challenge
- browsing 'coming soon" publication lists -- on Barnes & Noble, Amazon, emails -- and reading those that appeal to me.
- attacking my TBR piles
- do some holiday-themed reading (I adore books set at Christmas)
I have a huge TBR list that is out of control. When I'm looking for something to read next, I sort my TBR list by average ratings, start at the highest rated book, and look down the list until I find the perfect book for my mood at the moment. I figure that I'm likely to then end up reading something good, because who has time for bad books.
If you're really stuck you could just start a new challenge: Modern Mrs Darcy has a reasonably short challenge of just 12 books, and somewhere on the group is a thread of all the other challenges people here are also doing. (Apparently I'm too tired at the moment to figure out where that thread was.)
