(view spoiler)[Aaaah I liked miss Prescott. I missed these characters so much, it surprises me how quickly I’m right back in the atmosphere. Oh no, I hope Liza is okay. I kinda forgot about her so called boyfriend, will she turn up on the boat as well? And I forgot; are Thomas and Audrey Rose engaged now??

I love Mrs Harvey now😂😂 She’s in on them and does NOT care😂 Aaah Liza is on the ship indeed!! I bet Mephistopheles (damn what a name by the way) is the guy she’s in love with. He said that there’s something he wants Aubrey Rose to protect, I’m guessing that’s Liza? It’s really cool that the murderer is staging the bodies like tarot cards, can’t wait for the next one! Okay that sounds macabre but you know what I mean😂😂 (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 20
(view spoiler)[Okay the only suspects I have right now are the captain - because he’s the only one who has been in the picture without being a main character (except for her uncle who I secretly suspect as well XD) - and the sword guy. Although this chapter showed that Audrey suspects him as well so it isn’t the sword guy😂

Aaaah I like Mephistopheles a loooot, it’s definitely not him who’s doing the killing. Hell, he’s probably romantically interested in Audrey Rose as well, I’m sensing a love triangle!! I love Thomas, but I’m really liking Mephistopheles as well👀 Guess I was wrong about him and Liza though lol. Hmmmm quite handy that the letter from Harry is covered in ink; especially the part with the actual name of who he’s writing to. I honestly think it’s family; he’s giving them money, so it’s probably his mother/father or maybe even sister/brother? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think he’s very faithful to Liza, but I don’t think he’s writing to a lover?

I looove Mephistopheles still & I want to find out more about him. I don’t reaaaally trust him (he’s not the killer but he’s planning something for sure). I love the interactions between Thomas and Mephistopheles loooool. That son of a bitch orchestrated it all? Damn Mephistopheles is worse than I thought, although I’m still secretly in love with the guy. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I’m kinda wondering if Mephistopheles is really Mephistopheles, since he’s wearing a mask; what if it’s the killer sometimes and the real Mephistopheles at other times? I hate the trouble her bargain has caused between her and Thomas though, I wish she’d just tell him that she can’t tell him about it or something instead of lying to him about not making a bargain :( Poor guy :(

I can’t wait to find out the real identity of Mephistopheles. Lol random thought, but I feel like Houdini was for sure into bondage in real life 😂😂 I mean he likes to tie himself up and get out of it so probably in bed too😂 Sorry XD

There are so many pages left, but just one day until the end of the trip? What on earth is going to happen? I can’t freaking wait!! I feel bad for Mephistopheles and his story, he really just wants to give all the performers a home :( (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Aaaah and now Mrs Prescott is dead as well?? Damn. I thought for a second that the male arm would be from Mr. Prescott but apparently not. I still think it’s the captain, although I don’t know why. Or the Andreas guy.

Another one dead???? Duuuude. I don’t remember who Lady Crenshaw is though lol. Is it so weird for me to think that the letter was actually about the young girl from a lower station that they found in the cargo room? Idk.

Mephistopheles was right, he never said it was a letter to his lover. I was right as well, the letter was indeed to his mother. But Mephistopheles is a conniving son of a bitch.

THE MURDERER HAS LIZA AAAAAH!! The handwriting seems kinda feminine idk. Seems to me that you’ll just have to compare everyone’s handwriting to the note but okay😂 We know it doesn’t match Houdini’s handwriting, so it for sure isn’t him. I’m still on my Captain theory idk. I feel like the finger belongs to the corpse they haven’t found yet - the one where they found the arm of? I’m kinda sure she’s in the coffin Audrey Rose mentioned - the one in the cargo that was bigger than a coffin or something? The one she said ‘that’ll wait for another day to search’ or something, I think she’s in there because it was mentioned so randomly when they were searching for Jian’s knifes. Oh wait, or was that the case where they found the girl slashed up in?

Poor Thomas holy shit my heart is breaking! I love Mephistopheles, but I can’t deal with Thomas being set aside :( I think I love him more.. He’s so supportive, dammit Audrey Rose!! He's a gem :')

We finally saw Mephistopheles without his mask yay! I still think AR actually does know him from somewhere,

SHIT IT WAS ANDREAS!!! Damn it was kinda unexpected tbh!! I actually feel bad for him, losing his mirror, the only thing he had left of Liesel😭 AR SAVED THOMAS BUT SHE GOT HURT AAAAAAH!!! I know she won’t die because there’s another book but I’m still freaking out.

Man I thought for a second that it would actually end with Thomas and AR apart but I’m glad that it didn’t, geez!! I loved him buying her a cane 🥺 Still feel kinda bad for Mephistopheles because I reaaaally liked him, but I think I love Thomas more. Can’t we just have a reverse harem with both of them in it?😂

Buuuut the ripper part was interesting; they took a killer with them to America? Damnnnnn I can’t wait for this copy cat case: is this what the next book will be about? And the little sneak peek of the next book was great, they are engaged for real :') and I loooved the tarot cards that were in my copy! (hide spoiler)]

I'm really curious about this book because I usually don't love books that take place in one setting (like on a ship), but I love these characters so much that maybe that it will make up for it. yes it’s stjr 3.5 and you can but you don’t miss out on anything if you don’t, it just gives you a bit more insight into his mind.

He seems VERY set on trying to come in between Thomas and Audrey, and there is definitely more to his story and past. I'm really excited to find out who he is!! (hide spoiler)]
