He pulled the tree to the tool shed and unhitched the horses.

She sat up and sighed, looking around the room.
He began to chop the log in smaller pieces.
She rolled out of bed and grabbed a shawl before heading downstairs, wrapping it around her shoulders.
She went outside and walked up behind him.
He was sweating and swinging the ax.
She stepped back and looked at him sheepishly. "Sorry.."
He was panting from exertion and fright" You just scared me is all" he replied.
She nodded. "Yeah. I feel a lot better now."
He nodded and looked down at the tree.
He shook his head "I would just get it dirty too"
"After, then. I'll also run you a bath." She smiled.
"Okay." She smiled brighter and patted his shoulder.
He nodded and moved to kiss her cheek.
She leaned her head in and let his lips meet with her cheek. "I'll go do that now."
She nodded and made her way back to the house.
He watched her god then turned back to the log.
She took the tub inside, dragging it in.
He choped the tree into five equal logs.
She grabbed a wet cloth and cleaned it out.
He hoisted one of the logs up on a say horse.
She then went back outside with a pot and filled it with water.
She took the pot into the kitchen and placed it atop the stove to heat it up.
He started the slow arduous process of cutting the log into boards.
Once the water was hot, she poured it into the tub and repeated this step twice.
He finised one board and started on the next one.
When the tub a full she sighed and wiped her brow.
She came outside. "How's it going?"
"Two boards down only 50 more to go" he said smiling.
"You can't possibly do fifty today. The sun is going to set." She told him.
He nodded "I know" he stood and stretched his back.
