He walked up after her and sat next to her.

She turned over and draped her legs over his lap.
She sighed and put her head back, the wind moving her long hair around.
He just rocked and enjoyed the moment with her.
She crossed her ankles which pushed her nightgown up a bit.
He ran his hands over her bare legs.
She looked at him with a sad smile
"We have to bury my mother first." She said in a small voice.
"No. The police would get involved." She shook her head.
"You don't know that." She sighed. "I want to bury here on our property."
"Okay we can do that then" he said sighing.
She sat up but kept her legs over his lap.
"We can wait a bit though I think."
She nodded solemnly and rubbed her thumb on his shoulder.
He looked out across the yard his mind wandering to New Orleans.
She ran her hand down his arm, then climbed it back up.
She then climbed onto his lap, facing him and for straddling his lap.
She broke the kiss, but didn't pull back.
"Tell me." She said softly, quickly pecking him on the lips.
He shook his head "Maybe we should run to my house real quick"
"What for?" She asked, frowning because he didn't tell her.
"Some things there" he said thinking of his mothers ring that was stored away with her other things.
"Did you want to go now?" She asked, climbing off his lap.
"We better get you changed and your mom taken care of first."
She smirked. "Why, so you want to change me?" She teased.
He laughed "No not at all just your nightgown is all"
"I know." She said. "But I'm not going inside unless I can somehow not see her."
She frowned. "Don't say it like that."
She sighed and sat back down on the porch swing.
With one foot on the ground and the other tucked underneath her, she gently rocked the swing.
