Lucy rolled up her sleeves and filled a pot with water with the water pump that was installed in her home. She lit on the stove with a match.((You will live))
Jeff unhooked the horses and parked the wagon in the barn.((Uh huh))
Lucy hummed as she cooked, chopping up tomatoes and strips of chicken.
Jeff returned to the house once the horses were fed and put into stalls.
When the food was just about done, lucy got two bowls and poured the steamy soup into them.
Jeff walked into the kitchen "Smells good" he said pulling out a chair.
Lucy smiled and curtsied. "Thank you." She said, then carried the bowls to the table and set them down.
He pulled out a chair for her then sat down himself.
She sat down and stuck a spoon into his bowl with a smile. "It might be a little hot."
"Like you" he said as he picked up his spoon.
She gaped her mouth open, then laughed. "You shush."
He took a spoonful of soup and smiled.
"I can't wait until we settle down." She said before eating some soup.
"And I can get lazy and fat on your food"
She furrowed her brows, "you better not get fat on me."

"Who me" he asked raising an eyebrow.
She laughed and stuck her tongue out at him. "Yes, you."
"You can. But I like you this way." She winked.
She laughed and looked behind him at the closet, furrowing her brows.
"You could put on a few" he said continuing to tease her.
She looked back at him and frowned. "Are you trying to say I'm to skinny?"
She sat back in her seat and studied him. "Oh really? Because if i would put on a few, bye bye curves." She fake pouted.
"It might make more" he chided her.
She crossed her arms over her small chest and sighed. "Im not going to win, am i?" She said, looking back at the closet again.
"I am only teasing, You know I think you are perfect"
"I know." She smirked, but crinkled her brows together as she studied the closet door. Something felt off.
He grinned at her "want me to show you?"
She looked back at him. "Show me what?"
"Never mind" he said and ate more soup.
She sighed and ate a little more of her soup, still looking at the closet.
"Whats the matter anyways?" he asked finely.
She blinked and sat up straight. "Nothing." She shrugged.
"i'm not lying. I'm just stressed, i guess."
"Oh okay sorry, You just seem so distant."
"A lot has happened." She shrugged, trying hard not look back at the closet.
"Yes I know, but I thought we were in this together"
She reached over and took his hand. "Yeah. We are." She smiled.
"Okay just making sure" he said holding her hand.((tease))
"You done?" She asked, pointing at his bowl.(( what?))
"Yes" he said scooping out the last little bit.((Pic))
She stood up and collected their bowls and rinsed them out with the water pump.((Like it?))
He watched her confused by her being so distant.((Yup, not color but its nice))
She then sighed and held onto the edge of the counter and hung her head low.((I like black and white))
"Talk to me" he almost begged.((I see that))
