He smiled "Don't be sorry" he said pulling her close to his side.

She nodded and rose up on her toes and kissed his cheek gently.
He smiled again "Thank you" he said.(( I am going to be real busy the rest of this week.))
She then stepped in front of him and twirled around. "Do you like it?" She smiled, biting her lip.((Okay))
"You know I love it" he said taking her and her dress in one more time.
She stopped spinning and showed her back, which was bar except for her shoulders, showing her bare skin all the way down to the small of her back.
He nodded and felt a familiar heat rush to his groin. "Just as you promised" he said his had reaching for her.
She giggled and turned back around before he could touch her. "And there is a bonus." She said, leaning in close to his ear. "No corset." She whispered.
He smiled and blushed a little." I can see how that could be a great bonus."
He looked around the room."Well I am not sure if we should mingle or not"
"Then let's just dance." She suggested, listening to the music,
He nodded "okay but no promises as to my feet placement"
"It's quite alright. As long as I get to touch you..and sway to the music with you." She smiled sweetly.
"I was thinking the same thing" he said as he took her in his arms.
She pressed herself against him and looked up into his eyes. "Do I have to show you how it's done?" She asked with a light giggle, stepping back once again.
He smiled "Show me whatever you like Ma'am" he said as he looked into her eyes.
She grinned at him and took his left hand in her right hand, lacing their fingers together, then held their arms out to the side. Her other hand was placed on his right shoulder as she stepped closer to him. "Your right hand goes on my waist." She whispered to himz
"Gladly" he said placing his hand on her waist and looking into her eyes.
She smiled and blinked her blue eyes at him. "Now, we sway." She said, gently moving her body to the side, also stepping so they move.
He also began to sway to the music as they moved around the floor.
"My Pa taught me to dance by placing my feet on top of his. Eventually i memorized the movements." She said to him over the decently loud music.
"Lucky you, we didn't have much music in our house." he said taking larger steps around the floor.
"Neither did we." She replied with a teasingly grin, moving around the floor with him.
"Oh" he said a little embarrassed by her revelation.
She stopped once the current song ended and lightly applaud with the rest of the crowd. She then peeled off her mask and scratched under her eyes.
Jeff clapped and looked around the room then back to her.
"This thing is so itchy." She muttered to herself but reluctantly put it back on. When she did take off her mask, a few people, specifically men) briefly turned their gaze to her.
Jeff stepped in and pulled her close making it known to all she was his.
Lucy frowned at all of the women's distressed faces. "I don't think I'm welcomed here..." She said quietly when a women scowled at lucy because her date was checking lucy out.
"They asked us here" Jeff replied his hand still on the small of her back.
She bit her lip anxiously and looked behind her where their was large french doors that led out to a balcony. "May we go outside for some air?" She asked.
She nodded and took his arm and walked out onto the balcony, sighing with relief once the cool night hair touched her face.
He smiled loveing the cool night air and moved closer to her.
She placed her hands on the balcony's smooth edge for a moment, then turned slightly to the side to look at him. "Here, you don't need this." She said, and pulled off his mask gently.
The cool air rushed in on his face and he sighed in releif"thanks"
She smiled and traced the patterns on his mask with a gloved finger.
"Having fun?" he asked watching her.
She put his mask on the ledge and then took hers off and placed it beside his. "Hm?" She said,
((Woops))"I suppose so." She said, plucking off her long gloves.
"Are you glad we came" he asked concerned
((stupid phone))"I just hope its the right thing"
"I'm glad yes. But I keep wondering what's going to happen after this. I assume we will have to meet with the elders in private, no?" She said.
"It better be a we not you" he said.
"Of course. I couldn't do this alone." She told him with a sigh.
"I couldn't let you" he replied "no matter what they say I am here with you".
She nodded and took his hand. "I know. It's both of us or neither of us."
"I'm glad you agree" he replied holding her hand and giving it a squeeze.
