"Yes please." She sighed, grabbing a red shawl and draping it over her shoulders.
She took his hand and laced their fingers together.
He led her down the stairs and to the restaurant.
"Not too busy at least." She said, peering around and pointing at a table for them by the window.
"That is a good thing I think" he said and led her to the table pulling a chair out for her.
She smiled and sat down. "Thank you."
He sat across from her and smiled. "I never have been in a place like this."
"Never ever?" She asked, sitting up straight and looking around. "I have once when I was twelve."
"Well, now you have." She grinned.
"Yes I suppose so" he said looking around.
A waitress came to their table and Lucy ordered pancakes and a sausage.
Jeff ordered some eggs and bacon with a side of pancakes.
Lucy smiled and gazed out the window.
He waited calmly for the food to be served.
"Tell me something interesting." She said
"About what?" he asked not thinking he knew anything interesting.
He shook his head "I am not an interesting person"
"I beg to differ." She grinned challengingly.
"If you say so. I am just a simple farmer really"
"A good looking farmer might i add." She winked
He blushed "Still just a poor dirt farmer."
She frowned and reached across the table to take his hand. "Don't say that. You're a wonderful man." She said.
He nodded "Thanks" he looked out the window "I just hope I can help you wherever you need it"
"Of course. I couldn't do all of this without you."
"Yes but there are people that know so much more about you and your talents" He said.
"Maybe so. But non of them are you." She told him.
He nodded "Exactly" he sighed "Maybe we should travel to a big city where they have a large library."
"Maybe not even in this country" he mumbled.
She sighed and sat back in her chair. "Let's just find the elders first."
"We can try" he replied "I don't know if we can find one"
"Maybe someone around here could help us?" She asked hopefully
"Maybe " he agreed goose bumps formining on his skin.
She sighed and perked up a little once their food was delivered.
Jeff smiled at the pile of food on his plate and he dug in eagerly.
She smiled and folded a napkin onto her lap before talking a bite.
The.food was perfect and Jeff enjoyed it a lot smiling at her as she ate also.
She ate slowly to savour every bite.
He was soon finishing his last few bites.
She finished her food and wiped her mouth with her napkin and folded it back beside the plate.
She sighed and pursed her lips, thinking. "I say we ask someone." ((Ahh my phones dying lol))
"About necromancers?" he.whispered.(( that sucks. Have you read odd Thomas? ))
"No. About these so elders." She said ((No but I've seen the movie)
"Who do you think would know?" ((they made a movie? crap I got to see that))
"An actual elder maybe?" She couldn't help but laugh.(( I think it was the movie. It was called odd Tomas so I'm assuming it was lol))
