She was picked his head up with her hands, holding his cheeks. "Hey, it's okay. Who says we need one right now?"

He shrugged "It would be nice to have while we travel, no questions you know" he replied.
He shrugged "we will work something out I suppose" he was happy just to be with her.
"Don't we always?" She smiled just as she saw Ben trotting up to the cabin with more supplies in bags.
He nodded and turned to watch Ben approach.
"Let's go." She said, taking his hand and leading him downstairs and out the front door.((I'll brb for about twenty minutes, gotta shower. While I'm gone, you should study!))
They loaded the other supplies into the wagon and Jeff helped Lucy into the wagon.((Yes Ma'am))
Lucy settled herself down on the front wooden seat where you take hold of the reins. Ben passed her her cloak and handed Jeff a map. "I suggest going north. You'll have to pass through a town that had an Inn if you want to stay there when night falls." Ben said.
Jeff nodded and offered his hand to Ben "Thank you for your help"((all cleaned up huh?))
Ben smiled and shook his hand. "You're very welcome. Maybe we will cross paths soon." He said.Lucy bent down and hugged Ben lightly. "Thank you."
((Yes sir))
Jeff took the reins and brought then down on the horses backs and the started off on a trot toward the town Ben had pointed out.((Good girl, no skipping class today?))
Lucy looked her arm through jeffs and hugged it, leaning her head against his shoulder.((No school today ))
He kept the horses to a slow trot not wanting them to get tired "You can rest in the back" he told Lucy.((Right, Lucky))
"I don't want to." She said softly.(Yeeaaahhhhh))
"Okay" he replied not wanting to ruin their moment together. He rode lost in his own thoughts for a little bit.((Meanie))
"Do you miss home?" Lucy asked quietly.((Hehe))
"Yes a little" he replied looking at her.((Ugh))
She smiled sadly. "I do. I wonder what my Ma is doing. And my Pa is probably worried sick about me." She sighed.
He nodded "I miss it but I do not regret what has come from this either" he said. He avoided talk of family and friends they knew.
"I agree." She said wistfully, kissing his cheek.
He smiled as the wagon jostled them down the road.
Lucy reached back into the wagon and took out some of the notes Ben gave them, skimming his writings.
Jeff watched her a little "Anything interesting there?"
"Just stuff I already know..wait. Why is my fathers name written in here?" She asked, looking at Jeff.
He shrugged "What does it say about him?"
She ignored him and continued reading for s few more minutes. "He leads the Scarlets..."
She sighed and scrunched up the papers in frustration. "Is there something you're not telling me?"
"Ben said your dad was involved with people, but he didn't say it was the Scarlets" he said in a tight voice.
"So you know about my Pa? Why did you tell me?" She said incredulously.
"I didn't know anything until last night, and I only heard Ben's side" he countered.
She sighed and folded the papers and put them in the pocket of her cloak.
He nodded "I think we all are" he replied.
She sighed and stayed silent for most of the ride.
He hated how she didn't talk it made him nervous, but he soon began to relax as they approached a small town.
"It doesn't look to bad." She said. "Are we going to stay for the night?" She asked.
Jeff nodded "I think that would be best for tonight."
"Good. We could both use a nice bath, no?" She laughed, putting back the hood of her cloak. ((Did you do your test?))
"Yes" he replied smiling at the thought of a warm bath.((in 45 minutes))
"You can have one first." She offered.((good luck))
He shook his head "no way ladies first"((thanks))
"Okay, fine." She laughed, hugging his arm.
He smiled enjoying his small victory. The pulled into the town and all was quiet and mellow.((ugh GIS))
Lucy looked around and spotted a general store at the corner of town, a post office, small school house and a lumber mill.((GIS?)
Jeff relaxed more as civilization soaked back into him.((geographic information systems. That is what my test is on.))
"Theres the Inn." Lucy said, pointing at a two story building that had a small restaurant on the main floor.((uhg, sounds painful))
"See a stable anywhere?" Jeff asked hoping they had some money in their bags.((uh huh))
