He laughed out loud and stood to put more wood on the fire.

She frowned when he laughed at her,scooting back on the bed and drawing her knees to her chest.((EW I found an ugly bruise on my knee))
He added wood to the fire and returned to the floor in front of her.((lol and how did that get there?))
She balanced her chin on her knees and starred down at him.((Dance))
He looked at her "all done?" he asked.((ahh yes of course. They teach slam dance?"
"Done what?" She asked softly. ((Lol no. Jazz, actually. Had to do a knee drop yesterday.))
"With your massage" he replied looking into her eyes.((oh I see that sounds like it hurts))
"Well, that depends on what you want to massage..." ((It doesn't If you do it right. I didn't do it right. Lol))
He shrugged "That is up to you" he replied seriously.((hate when that happens))
She sighed and stood up. "Not tonight. After everything that has happened today..." She looked away and shook her head.
He nodded "Okay I understand you do need some rest" he replied as he stood.
"Rest with me?" She asked softly, taking his hands.
"Of course" he said kissing her forehead.
She smiled and reached behind her back and unclipped her skirt, letting it drop to the floor. She only had on her underdress and underwear.
He opened his eyes wide and then began to undress himself as he fought for control.
"Struggling?" She said teasingly, unfolding the quilt and flattening it out on the bed.
"You can tell?" he asked looking down at himself.
She nodded and covered a giggle with her hand.
He shook his head "I'm trying" was all he could say.
"Trying to what?" She asked curiously, climbing under the covers.
"Nothing" he replied. He slipped out of his clothes and slid in next to her.
She scooted close to him and laid her torso on top of his. "Tell me." She said softly, looking down at him.
He held her in his arm her head tucked in his shoulder. "Its nothing really" he said as he gave her a tight squeeze.
She moved her head to the side and kissed under the side of his jawline. "I still want to know." She whispered, her breath warm against his skin.
He sighed "I love you" he said his hand on her hip.
She smiled and dipped his head down by pulling on his chin and kissed his lips.
He kissed her back loving the feel of her lips on his.
She pulled away reluctantly; she could kiss him forever. But, she was exhausted. She scooted down his body a little and nuzzled her head under his chin, her right leg inbetween his legs.
He sighed content to have her so close to him. He closed his eyes and tried to get some sleep.
The rhythm of his heartbeat in her ear soothed Lucy into sleep.
Soon he drifted off to sleep the pressure of her leg giving him sweet dreams.
During some time during the night, Lucy rolled off of Jeff and now was laying on her stomach beside him, hugging a pillow.
He slept and dreamed of being with Lucy.
An odd chill crawled up her back, making her shiver and slowly wake up. "Mm." She mumbled. "Jeff, stop." She mumbled half asleep, assuming it was Jeff teasing her.
He was in a deep sleep and didn't hear anything.
She woke up once the chill crawled up her clothes. "Jeff, I said stop." She said louder, rolling around onto her back and blinking in surprise when she saw Jeff was asleep.
He moaned in his sleep but didn't stir.
She sat up and looked around the dark, silent bedroom.
Jeff rolled onto his side and mumbled her name.
She looked at him quickly then snuck out of bed, grabbing a blanket from the bag and wrapping it around her shoulders.
He barely noticed her weight leave the bed, but somewhere in his mind it registered and he slowly began to wake up.
Lucy crept down the stairs slowly. She nearly gasped when she heard a slight tap in the kitchen.
Jeff opened his eyes and rolled over wondering what had woke him up.
Lucy slowly turned the corner into the kitchen, stopping dead in her tracks when she saw a shadow in the corner of the kitchen. It looked like this shadows back was to her.
Jeff felt the empty bed next to him and he jumped out of bed quickly pulling his pants on.
Lucy gasped and dropped her blanket when the shadow made another bang.
Jeff pulled on his boots and ran downstairs "Lucy" he called out in a whisper.
The shadow flicked on a match and lit a candle. Lucy screamed."God damnit Lucy, it's just me!" Ben exclaimed, startled by her scream.
Jeff heard her scream when he was half way down the stairs "Lucy" he yelled out as he ran into the kitchen.
"S-sorry...you scared me.." Lucy said sheepishly, looking back at Jeff when he approached. Ben shrugged. "It's my fault. I'm sort of a night owl." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. He noticed the way Lucy was dressed and immediately looked away. "um.."
