((It's about to get intense)) Lucy grabbed his hand and started running after Ben also began to run. "Run to the forest!" He yelled over the screaming campers.
Jeff and Lucy ran into the trees after Ben. ((I can hardly wait.))
Lucy screamed and ducked when gun shots began to go off. She picked up her skirts in one hand as they ran, getting closer to the forest tree line.
Jeff ran hunched over as he held Lucy's hand and ran as fast as he could.
Ben who was ahead of them, stopped and put Marie. The look on his face said that something bad was happening. "Marie, go. Run to the spot. You know where it is. I'll meet you there." She kissed the top of her head and watched her run. Lucy then tripped and fell onto her knees, just as a Scarlet jumped down from a tree, knife ready and pointed at Ben.
Jeff helped Lucy to her feet and got ready to run again.
"Not so fast." A Scarlet said, grabbing the back of Lucy's blouse and pulling her free of jeffs grasp. He wrapped his arms around her waist and picked had up."Jeff!" She cried out as the man began to haul her away.
((Let her get taken for a second))
Jeff turned to run after her his heart pounding in his chest the thought of losing her making his throat constrict.
Ben was fighting off a man with his fists. "Go after her! I got this." He said, punching the guy in the jaw.Lucy's screams echoed in the distance.
Jeff ran after Lucy wishing he still had his pistol with him and promising himself her would not be caught without it again.
The guy who took Lucy stopped at a wagon, throwing his bag onto the back of it. He grinned when he saw Jeff approach, standing Lucy up and grabbing a fistful of her hair, holding her head up. "Don't make any sudden moves." He said, holding a knife to Lucy's throat.Lucy, cried out when he yanked her hair, her hands shaking at her sides.
Jeff stopped and looked at the man, he made no moves at all.
His grin widened. "Is this your girl?" He asked, snaking the hand with the knife down and around the front of Lucy's waist. Lucy squirmed but whimpered when he pulled her hair up again.
Jeff didn't move or say anything he was trying to think of how he could get him and Lucy out of this situation.
He laughed menacingly. " I can tell." He said, ripping open Lucy's blouse with a flick of her wrist, revealing her corset. Lucy gasped and grimaced.
Anger raged in Jeff as he tried to control it and think.
((Bens gonna come in and save the day don't worry lol))"Tell me," he said, "how tight was she?" He grinned, knowing he was making Jeff mad. He wrapped an arm around her waist again to hold her in place as his hand that held her hair snaked down her back and began lifting up the back of her skirts.
Jeff slowly started to move to the side getting ready to rush the man.
A bullet whizzed past jeffs head and impaled itself right through the man's forehead. Lucy screamed and dropped to her knees once the man's grip loosened on her.
Jeff ducked instinctively as the bullet went by his head. He looked back then ran up to Lucy.
Ben lowered the pistol, face soaked with blood that ran from his nose. Lucy sniffed and reached out to Jeff, arms shaking.
Jeff pulled her close to him and started to led her away into the trees.
Ben shook his head. "No. Take the wagon back to the cabin. Do you remember where it is?"
Jeff nodded and helped Lucy into the wagon.
"I'll bring some supplies and clothes for you later." Ben said, running back towards camp. "Stay inside!"Lucy breathed heavily as she clutched her blouse closed.
Jeff threw the dead man out of the wagon and picked up the reins and got the team of horses moving.
Lucy hung her head, silently crying.
Jeff reached out to her and wrapped his free arm around her holding her to him.
"I should have done something." She whispered, her head resting on his shoulder.
"I don't know." She whispered, sniffling.((I'm at school right now lol))
Jeff guided the horses toward the cabin.((lol I am going there soon, I thought you might be in school, be careful and don't get caught))
Lucy frowned and looked around, wondering if their being followed. ((I'm allowed my phone out for now. But in like an hour I won't be but I can sneak it))
He pulled the wagon into the yard then circled it toward the small barn.((I will be in class then I might get a few post out but I am not sure))
Lucy rubbed the back of her head where her hair was pulled.((No worries! Post whenever you can :) ))
Jeff jumped down off the wagon and held out a hand to Lucy.
She kept her arms covering her ripped blouse. But she wiped her tears and took his hand.
He lifted her down and led her into the cabin.
She walked up the step leaning against him, an arm wrapped around his waist. Her body still shook.
He led her into the house and helped her sit down. "You okay?" he asked.
She held her blouse closed once again and shook her head. "No. I'm not okay." More tears rolled down her cheeks.
He sat next to her and held her close to him.
"Why do they want from me?" She whispered, holding onto him
"I think I know, but lets not talk about that now."
She shook her head an stood up, looking down as she buttoned up her blouse with shaking fingers, giving up and throwing her hands down in frustration.
He grabbed her hands "It's okay Lucy" he said "You are safe right now"
She whimpered and inhaled a shaky breath, holding his hands tightly. ((So much homework ommggggg))
He pulled her in close and kissed the top of her head.((lol you can do it. i have a paper due tomorrow and a test on Friday i haven't worked on either lol.))
She hugged him tightly around his middle, face buried into his chest. "Why aren't you afraid of me?" She whispered.((You in highschool of college?))
