Jeff tossed in the bed sweat on his forehead.

Lucy sat on the edge of the bed beside him, hastily taking his hand in hers.
He woke with a start when he felt her touch. He looked at her his dream still vivid in his memory.
She squeezed his hand. "Are you okay?" She whispered.
"You were being attacked by ghosts" he said "and I couldn't see them but you screamed and I couldn't help you"
Lucy smiled sadly. "It was just a dream. You're okay. I'm okay." She reassured him.
Jeff Groaned and held tightly to her hand. "Will we be okay tomorrow?"
"Of course. Why wouldn't we be?" She asked, a bit worried.
"The people, they are looking for you aren't they?" realization flooding over his face.
"H-how do you know their looking for me?" She stuttered.
"Because of your talent" he said pushing himself up on an elbow and looking at her.
"I wouldn't necessarily call it a talent.." And mumbled, hanging her head.
"Why wouldn't you?" he asked surprised.
"I don't know.... it seems sort of... odd." She shrugged, forgetting she still held his hand.
"Odd?" he said in a questioning tone "yes I guess odd, but that's not always bad."Odd Thomas
((just reminded me of this book lol))
All she did was shrug with a deep sigh.((lol))
"There has to be some reason you can do it" he said still holding her hand."Maybe there is a way to control it"
"Do you think so?" She looked at him hopeful, biting her lip.
((hey, sorry back now though))"Yes there has to be someone that can teach you about it" he replied trying to think who if anyone he knew could help.
((No worries! I've gotta go to a concert so I'll post later))She nodded slowly and sighed.
((okay deal))He shook his head not able to think of anyone at all.
"You gonna be okay?" She whispered, peering down at him
He nodded his head slowly. "Yes I think so, This has to be a good thing, you are such a good person"
She blushed a little. "How could this be good?"
"It just has to be" he said as if he was trying to convince himself.
"Are you going to be okay?" he asked concerned.
He nodded his head "What do you think we should do now?"
I don't know honestly." She sighed deeply, fidgeting with her hands.
He sighted "Well I have to do something or I will go crazy I think" he said as he began to pace.
"I'm really scared." She whispered, voice breaking
He looked at her "I know" he replied and stepped closer to her.
She didn't move, but looked up at him and blinked her bright blue eyes at him.
((Concert?))He knelt down in front of her and took her hand in his.He looked at her "No matter what I will help you" he said his voice low and sure.
She looked down at him and smiled, squeezing his hands. "Good. I wouldn't want it to be anyone else."((There now, waiting for Ed sheeran to come on))
He looked at her "I am sure there are way better men suited for you protection" he replied but he was thankful she had such confidence in him.((Ahhh I see lots of fun))
"No," she shook her head. "I know there isn't."
He nodded and stood "You better try to get some rest and I will look for something for your leg".
She shrugged and hugged her arms around herself.
"Are you going to be okay if I leave"? He asked.
He smiled and sat on the floor next to her "Then I better stay"
She smiled a little and fidgeted with her hands again. "You called my name in your sleep."
He looked at her "I did"? his face turned red.
His face got redder "What do you mean its okay" he asked.
"I mean I don't mind." She said, looking up at him
