"Still. I need to pack." She sighed.
" Yes I know" he said sighing and reaching for Caroline.
" Yes I know" he said sighing and reaching for Caroline.
Caroline stopped crying and reached out toward her father. Lucy turned away and picked out her clothes.
Jeff bounced Caroline and whistled quietly to her.
Lucy took a while to change because of all the layers she has to wear. Once her hair was brushed up out of her face, she started to pack.
Jeff took Caroline down to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
Lucy peeled the sheets off the bed and folded them up neatly and stuffing them in her bag.
Jeff spread a blanket down on the floor and laid Caroline on it to let her play.
Lucy carried her suitcase down the stairs a few minutes later, setting it by the door. "I packed your clothes too." She called.
"Thanks" he called from the kitchen. " come get some breakfast"
Lucy waved at Caroline as she walked through the living room and entered the kitchen. "What did you make?" She asked.
" eggs ,toast ,bacon and hash browns" he said turning and smiling at her.

"Wow, really?" She raised her eyebrows in surprise and returned his smile.
"Yeah I thought it might be a long day and a good breakfast was in order."
"You're amazing." She walked up to him and pecked him on the lips.
"You know I am right" he said loading the food on the table.
"I don't agree with you." She shrugged and sat down at the table.
He rolled his eyes "You rarely do"
Lucy frowned and looked at him. "That's not true."
"I agreed to move out of here, didn't i?" She countered.
He nodded "Not quickly might I add."
Jeff Smiled and winked at her "Better eat up"
She sighed and took a few bites. "I'll feed Caroline before we leave."
"Good Idea" He said over his shoulder.
He sat at the table and watched Lucy.
Lucy licked her lips and cleared off the rest of her plate. She looked very pale.
Jeff looked at her "Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, why?" She furrowed her brows at home and rinsed off her plate.
"You just look a little different is all"
She sighed and finished cleaning her plate.
He gave her a tight smile and ate the rest of his food.
"Everything is going to be fine" he told her.
"I know." She sighed and picked up Caroline.
"And we will have fun too" he said smiling at her.
