He laughed and took the corset " you sure?"

"I just need you to tie the laces." She said.
" okay okay I can do that" he replied taking the laces in his hands.
Lucy held the corset to her chest, bracing herself. "Not to tight please."
"I like it tight" he replied tugging on the strings but not too hard.
Lucy grunted. "But I assume you also like me breathing?" She smirked.
"Yes of course" he said as he finished with the strings.
"Thank you, love." She kissed his cheek.
Jeff smiled " any time though I would rather take it off"
"I know." She giggled and stepped into her red skirt and buttoned it up.
"Indeed you are." She nodded, and shrugged on her blouse.
"Yes please. I'd like to take Caroline. Don't you need things in town," she asked, buttoning up her blouse.
" yes I do need a few things. I will hook up the horses"
"Do you want breakfast first?" She asked, picking up Caroline.
" Yes of course you can cook it while I hook up the team"
"Okay." She kissed his cheek and changed Caroline into a dress and bonnet.
Jeff went to the pasture and caught the horses to get the wagon ready.
Lucy carried the baby downstairs and sat her in her wooden baby seat as lucy prepared egg sandwiches.
Jeff hitched up the wagon and drove it around front and set the brake. Then went into the house to eat.
"Here you are." She slid his sandwich on a plate toward him on the table and focused on feeding Caroline.
He picked up the sandwich and ate it taking large bites.
Lucy giggled as she fed Caroline some scrambled eggs.
"what's so funny?" He asked between bites.
"The faces she is making." Lucy replied.
" Oh, well what are you trying to feed her?"
"Eggs. She likes them but the texture is new to her so she's making faces." She explained.
" Ohhhh I see" he replied finishing his sandwich.
"I'm going to go back upstairs and fix my hair quickly. Can you watch her?" Lucy asked.
" of course but don't take too long"
"I won't." She kissed the top of his head and skipping upstairs.
Jeff smiled and moved closer to Caroline.
Caroline kicked her legs and squealed, holding a handful of scrambled eggs in her fist.Lucy brushed through her long hair and pinned it up in a low bun.
Jeff laughed at her "wish I could still eat that way"
Lucy walked back downstairs just as Caroline threw the fistful of eggs at him.
Jeff dodged the eggs laughing at her.
"You little monkey!" Lucy laughed and scooped her up in her arms. "Pass me a wash cloth please."
Jeff stood and retrieved a wash cloth handing it to Lucy.
She smiled and wiped Caroline's hands and face gently.
" So messy" he said as he moved to leave.
"Hey, she's a baby," lucy countered.
" I know I was just saying" he replied.
Lucy held Caroline with one arm and took a bite of her sandwich, nodding.
Jeff held his arms out so he could take Caroline.
Lucy carefully handed Caroline to him.
Jeff took her and bounced her a little thinking he better not toss her right after breakfast.
Lucy munched on her sandwich and rubbed the back of her neck viciously.
