"It's to early yet." He sighed and put her skirts back down."has she been doing a lot of walking or housework? Even heavy lifting?"
"Well, she'll have to take it easy for the remainder of the pregnancy. A lot of bed rests and a walk around the yard once a day." He instructed.
The doctor got out a package of medication and handed it to Jeff, "for the pain and to help her sleep."
He patted lucy on the shoulder before leaving the house.Lucy sighed and buried her face into her pillow.
He turned to her "I told you" he said relived that she would be okay with rest.
She sighed and didn't look at him. "Mhm" she mumbled.
"Now here take some of this." he said handing her the medicine.
She sat up with a deep sigh and took it from him. "I'll need water."
He nodded and headed downstairs for some water.
She sighed again and laid back down,
he brought her the water and handed it.to her.
She put some of the medication in her mouth and swallowed it down with water. "Thanks love."
"Rest with me?" She smiled sweetly.
"Okay for.a little while" he agreed.
She smiled and patted the bed beside her.
She turned on her side toward him "I'm sorry." She whispered.
He sighed " you scared me" he.said pulling her close to him.
She snuggled close to him, nuzzling her face in the crook of his neck. "I really am sorry.@
He held her tight" me too" he said.
"Why are you sorry?" She looked up at him.
"For not taking care of you like I should"
"Hey, don't say that." She sat up and looked down at him. "This isn't your fault. It's mine for being so stubborn."
She climbed onto his lap so she was straddling him. "I'm serious, it's not your fault."
He nodded " I know but I should have done something"
"Like what?" She asked, rubbing her hands up and down his chest.
"You can't make me do a lot things." She smirked.
She pursed her lips and wiggled her bum on him. "You know, I don't feel sexy straddling you at all anymore." She sighed.
He looked at her "why not you are more sexy today than ever."
She exhaled out of her nose and wrapped her arms around her belly and shook it slightly. "Because I got this attached to me." She burst into laughter which created dimples in her cheeks.
He smiled "I like it" he.kissed.her.tummy.
"I only like what's inside it. I can't wait until it's all gone and all of you will be mine." She winked. She then leaned down as far as her tummy would let her and whispered into his ear. "And I'll be all yours."
"You know," she said as she watched him. "Sex is be said to be able to induce labour."
He nodded "I can see how that could happen "
She laughed and wiggled her bum again. "But it's to soon for that."
The doctor examined Lucy then looked at Jeff, "how far along is she?"
