She sat down in the rocking chair and rocked back and forth slowly. She felt her eyes drooping.

He rose from the bed and headed downstairs to check on her.
She fell asleep leaning back into the rocking chair.
He walked down the stairs and saw her asleep so he returned to the bed worried that she was not sleeping well.
She whimpered softly in her sleep, grimacing.
He slid back in the bed feeling slightly guilty.
She forced herself away and stood up with a grunt and extinguished the fire.
He drifted off to sleep once again.
She went back upstairs and crawled into bed.
She wrapped an arm around him and kissed his forehead.
"Love you too." She whispered with a sigh and closed her eyes.
The next morning, lucy was laying on her side,facing him. She was asleep, breathing softly and her face tranquil.
He woke and slowly left the bed wanting her to rest as much as she could.
She stirred a little when she felt weight leaving the bed but didn't wake.
She woke up a few minutes later because the baby was kicking repeatedly. She sighed, rolled onto her back and rubbed her tummy.
He milked the cow, collected the eggs and feed all the animals. Then headed back into the house.
Lucy just laid in bed and contemplated whether to get out of bed or not.
He started the fire and started cooking breakfast.
She put an arm behind her head and sighed.
He busied himself with breakfast wondering if Lucy would be up for breakfast in bed.
She sat up with a grunt and ran a hand through her messy hair. Her stomach grumbled.
He scooped up some food on a plate and started up the stairs.
She heard him coming up the stairs and smiled.
He opened the door hoping that her morning sickness was gone today.
"So you did." She sat up against the headboard and crossed her ankles. She smiled warmly at him.
He hesitated "Your good right?" he asked.
She nodded and scratched her shoulder. "Yeah. I'm good. Just a bit fatigued."
He nodded and moved forward handing her a plate of food.
She took the plate and put it on her lap. "Wow, it smells good."
She took a bite and smiled. "Very good love."
He grinned "Good thing" he said smiling
"Pretty good better than you i suppose" he replied.
"I know you were up a little last night" he admitted.
"Oh. I'm sorry if I woke you." She frowned.
"No worries" he said sitting next to her.
She ate the rest of her food and put the plate on the nightstand. "Thank you love."
