Well, I recently finished Legendary and I liked it. I feel that even when you are fairly certain about something, the book manages to confuse you and have you second-guessing your thoughts until the end. I am currently reading Fangirl, which I am taking too long to finish. I think I started it in the middle of August and I am still not done yet. I think that even if it's really good, I am just not in that mood right now. I will definitely finish it this week though.
I am also reading The Titan's Curse, which is a series I should have started long ago but never did. These books are quick reads, so I hope it will help me get on track with my 2018 reading challenge.
What about you all?
I'm currently buddyreading The Raven Boys and absolutely loving it! Probably gonna binge read the whole series afterwards (or not, I can change my mind about stuff in seconds lol) and I'm listening to the audiobook for The List by Siobhan Vivian.
I just started the Circle Reforged series, which I originally read when I was a kid. I'm slowly working through my goal of re-reading all of Tamora Pierce's works since I loved them as a child. Some of them are holding up really well, and others...not so much.I'm looking forward to when my nieces get older and I can try to recommend these books to them. That's a long way off though.
Uhm so I'm currently reading 9 books lol. Going to be 10 in a few minutes. 1. Little bee by Chris Cleave
2. Young Elites by Marie Lu
3. Astonishing colour of after by Emily X.R. Pan
4. Here we are by numerous authors
5. Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro
6. Misery by Stephen King
7. Book Thief by Markus Zusak
8. Artemis by Andy Weir
9. Krone der Sterne by Kai Meyer (German!)
I'm probably going to start "This adventure ends" by Emma Mills soon.
Kayla Dawn wrote: "Uhm so I'm currently reading 9 books lol."Misery is one of my favorite books. I hope you enjoy it. It's a whole different level of spooky.
I’m currently starting the Harry Potter series, for the first time believe it or not so thats fun :D I’m reading Philosopher’s Stone and so far I’m enjoying it ♥️
I'm currently reading The Case of the Zodiac Killer: The Complete Transcript With Additional Commentary, Photographs And Documents . But i will finish it today.
My currently readings are actually all in german language: 1. Das Haus das in den Wellen verschwand (english titel: The Blue) from Lucy Clarke
- I have only a few pages left and it is really good. Thrilling and a page turner.
2. Demon Road from Derek Landy
- A buddy reads with two friends and we all love it so far. Really entertaining - like a TV Show :D.
3. Throne of Glass Vol. 4 from Sarah J. Maas
- My actual eBook read. I think, the series is getting better and better. Much more violent and darker - love it :3.
4. Authority from Jeff Vandermeer
- Southern Reach Vol. 2, I just begun to read it. I am really excited, because the first volume was totally mind blowing for me and a real highlight. I also love the writing.
5. The 13½ Lives of Captain Bluebear from Walter Moers
- I read this one very very slowly, because i don't want it to end. it is special and absolutely amazing.
I'm currently reading Empire of Storms by Sarah J Maas and I love it so far, and Rage Inside by Jeyn Roberts.
I just finished reading Wildcard which is the sequel to Marie Lu’s first book called Warcross. I am currently reading The Ill-Made Knight for school and I am also listening To I’ll Give You the Sun on audio book. I think In the next couple of days I am going to start They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera.
So, I'm currently listening to Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon, which is the second book in her Outlander series. The narrator is just perfection at different voices and accents. And then I'm e-reading American Parable: Ashes and Embers by Christian Sterling, which is so far so good and giving me so many Sons of Anarchy vibes.
But...I'm kind of in a reading slump...which isn't great for procrastinators...sooo...there's that ;)
I'm currently reading Wildcard by Marie Lu, Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco and also Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia
I just finished Sea Witch and I started the Hating Game last night. It's so good! Unfortunately, i have to give up Memoirs of a Geisha for now because i'm too young and i also have to give up Night Circus for now because i have to give it back to the library :(
I’m currently not reading anything because I have so many series I have started, but not finished and I don’t know how to tackle them 😅. I have: Crown of Midnight, The Vanishing Throne, The Heart of Betrayal, The Hammer of Thor, Hunting Prince Dracula and Wildcard. Lmao help me
I just finished Prayers for the Stolen and now started The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History. Prayer for the stolen is a good and quick read, I recommend it!
I'm so jealous of everyone reading Wildcard by Marie Lu; I want to read it so badly!! I loved Warcross; it was such an amazing book. I recently finished The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, which completely destroyed me - it was such an incredible but heartbreaking book. (I absolutely loved it though.) I'm honestly not sure (yet) what I'm going to read next, haha.
i’m about half done with The Inexplicable Logic of My Life by Benjamin Alire Saenz and i’m absolutely in love with it!!i had high expectations after reading Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe but so far this book is reaching all of them!!! i’d absolutely recommend anything by Saenz
i'm currently rereading the lux series, and am on the third book, Opal. but by the time you read this, i should be done with it. before september ends, though, i want to read Sharp Objects and City of Bones. city of bones is for a read along i'm doing (which i might quit after reading the first book because it will take up my october tbr plans! and i have big ones for that month. that'll be my prime reading time.)
I just finished One-Dimensional Man: Studies in the Ideology of Advanced Industrial Society; not satisfied with the book.Right now I'm reading Homegoing and The Misanthrope
I just finished The Hating Game (a contemporary) and loved it!I’m continuing my reading progress on Scythe (physical) and The Hero of Ages (ebook) :D
Currently reading two books: The Bear & the Nightingale & The Storm Runner. The Bear & the Nightingale is pretty whimsical for me right now with its description and everything. It’s of a Russian tale and I love exploring new cultures through fiction!
The Storm Runner released this Monday. Is there any mythology & Rick Riordan fans here? I just started the book today and I’m so excited to delve into the world of Maya Myths!

I read a similar version of the Zodiac killer years ago. It was interesting but when I read it in public I got some Strange people talking me about it.

I am currently reading reading:
A Darker Shade of Magic
It is so easy to read! I want to finish it this weekend!
I started two months ago:
The Woman in White
This is another book that is easy to read but I had so many library books checked out that I needed to stop and get them done. Now I need to keep going. This part of a book club read for October. Perhaps it will be enough motivation to complete! Its only 647 pages!!

I'm just about to start:
Not sure what its really about, but seems to be zombie themed. I could be completely off the mark, though.

Wow! How do you manage to read so many books at the same time?

YES! and I think you definitely should wait! I used it to get out of a major book slump XD
I finished "The Blue" from Lucy Clarke and I loved it. Really thrilling and well written. A page turner :D.
My one-track mind is obsessing over Vengeful right now .... But I'm reading like four other books....
@KaylaI want to start Vicious so badly!! I have the copy and everything but can’t find the right time to start 😭

Maybe you can get someone to buddy read it with you, that's what I usually do when it comes to books I just can't seem to begin
Enjoying From The Storm by AJ Walker and Parable of the Talents by Octavia Butler. Struggling through High-Rise by JG Ballard for one of my book clubs.
Bee wrote: "I'm readimg Crown of Midnight by SJM and Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare atm :)"I've read the first two books of "Throne of Glass" and loved it. For some strange reason, I feel scared to continue because I don't know what to expect lol!!

Another Riordan fan here!!
But the only books I haven't read are the Magnus Chase ones D: I loved Apolo's... maybe because they're more mature or maybe because Apolo need a modesty lesson haha
The Storm Runner is flying to me right now~ I hope you enjoy it!
(I'll add you two to my friends if you don't mind)
@Jeanette Just give it a go :) I think the ToG books just get better, and you'll be introduced to so many interesting new characters in Heir of Fire!
Ernesto wrote: "I'm reading The House of the SpiritsIt's pure magic."
Ernesto, The House of the Spirits is a great read!!! I think I may want to read more Isabel Allende books in the future, maybe read them in Spanish this time instead of English.
I started reading Grace Above All, not knowing if I was going to like it or not. I think it's pretty good and I totally ship Frankie and Grace
I’m currently reading (or, well, trying to read because I never have enough time) both City of Heavenly Fire & The Shadowhunter’s Codex by Cassandra Clare (and Joshua Lewis) and I’m loving them both
Reading Shoe Dog: A Memoir by the Creator of NIKE and The Lady of the Rivers, plus have started Red Lotus, The Divine Comedy and The Sword of Shannara, which I've been 'currently reading' for something like two years now XD
Currently I'm reading the dire king by William Ritter, the last book of the Jackaby series. I love it! I also buddy read a Lucinda Riley book and the fifth book of outlander.
I'm currently reading Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. It normally takes me a few chapters to get interested in a book, but this has gripped me from page one.
