#327: Tin Men and Unintended Symbols

The most tragic figure in L. Frank Baum���s The Wizard of Oz is, by far, the Tin Man. The 1939 Judy Garland film adaptation elides his origin story, and it wasn���t until I read Baum���s novel last month that I discovered how our Tin Man came to be. I can���t stop thinking about it.
