S.G. Prince (sgprince) Under each book on Goodreads, there's an Amazon button that links readers to that book's Amazon page (in order for them to buy it). Currently, when you click the Amazon button on my book's Goodreads page, it links to nothing. How can I edit this?

Thanks!

That's because the default edition (which will come up in searches by title and shows on your author profile) is not the edition listed on Amazon. The Amazon button works just fine for the Kindle edition. As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default. Here's how: https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/3...

I didn't think about checking those links before. Mine are working. This is valuable info. Thank you.

S.G. Prince (sgprince) Something else I discovered, now that I've done some digging: in your book's description on Goodreads, you can include the AISN (for both the e-book version and the paperback, interestingly) and doing so automatically link each separate version (e-book and paperback) to their appropriate Amazon pages. Simply click "edit details" on your book's Goodreads page to enter the info.

I originally had the ISBN listed for my paperback book on Goodreads, which didn't trigger a link.

Hope that helps anyone else who's having the same issue!

rivka Paperbacks should have ISBNs listed, not ASINs. I corrected that one, but if you need help with any others, the best place to post is the Librarians Group.
