SOLVED. Magic balls give cool powers. [s]

the book is young adult or like 10-16 i think, i read it in 2017-2018

basically the plot is that there are these balls that suddenly appeared a few years before the story, hidden everywhere and they give you little powers like being smarted or better vision or being able to sleep well, and the guy looks for them and sells them, and one of the things i remember is that his friend or something gives him a pair as a gift to help him sleep and he uses them to go to sleep right away and nap. Later in the book, they (the main character(s) and others) look for a pair of golden ones which are immeasurably valuable and they find them but have to use them so that they arent taken away and the person who uses them turns gold and feels like drawn to the balls i think and im pretty sure they can find balls really easily like xray vision

i also remember that there is a really rich company i think that has a lot of them and sells them but it might not be part of it, i cant remember too well.
