Pratima | 1 comments Hello Everyone,I am Pratima Pradhan from Bhutan. Even though i joined the group in December i am introducing only today and thank you for the invitation.
Looking forward to learn lot more from the group.

Lance Morcan | 3058 comments Hello Pratima...and a belated welcome to you. I guess it has taken you this long to decide whether you wish to be formally associated with such a bunch of nut cases (myself included)? Can't say I blame you if there was any indecision at your end! That said, there are some very sane people in this group (at least that's the rumor) and I'm sure you'll discover them if you haven't already...

message 203: by Lance, Group Founder (new)

Lance Morcan | 3058 comments Welcome Sarah & Brian. You'll undoubtedly see references to Icke throughout the discussion threads - and general references to prisons incl. discussions relating to underground prisons, black sites, drugs/drug wars, FEMA etc. Hope you find what you're looking for...Good luck and do keep us posted on progress at your end.

Gabe K hello my name is Gabe and I have recently noticed that I cannot quench my thirst for knowledge. While reading an entertaining novel can be fun, I want to learn as much as I can with some non fiction.

Joseph Shellim (shhhhstudios) | 156 comments Hi guys.

I'm Joseph Shellim, an enthusiast of both history & intelligent fantasy. In the past 5 years I became entrenched in a 'historical' view of the first century and became amazed at the contradictions held of this most impacting period. I found the Roman archives acknowledged the Jews of Judea as the greatest heroes in human history, who alone challenged Rome and secured the right to freedom of belief; and whose actions eventually felled the divine emperor realm. In the process I had to also study the Hebrew Bible and again found great distortions held: I found here, controversially, the 5 books of Moses as the first alphabetical book, with no Hebrew writing prior and that it emerged in an already advanced form of literature - and that no other nation spoke this language. Also, that Genesis first declared the age of the earth as being billions of years old, 100% finite and introduced the premise of species. So I wrote a 'contra' book called "Ben Hur II - Exile" - as a response more than a sequel, and based it on historical archives throughout. If its not controversial - its nothing. Cheers all, and thanks :)

Thanks for joining Joseph.
Am looking forward to reading your book Ben Hur II: Exile.
If you get the time, would be great if you could share the Jewish perspective in the Forbidden history of the Bible section re what happened in "Early Christianity". We as a group are finding in our research that all roads are leading back to Judaism, and that Judaism and early Christianity appeared to be remarkably similar, but it's hard to know exactly what occured in the 1st Century AD...So anything you can share would be much appreciated.
Best,
James

message 218: by Joseph (new)

Joseph Shellim (shhhhstudios) | 156 comments Basically, James, we can boil it down to this:

Caligula, in the year 37: "SO YOU ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO REJECT MY DIVINITY!"

The Jews: "Yup!"

And history's greatest siege and a Holocaust occurred in Judea; over a Million (pro rata 30 Million today) rebelled against the decrees of Rome and sacrificed their lives when Jerusalem was turned into a furnace. And they did so:
"Willingly, some throwing themselves on the Roman swords, some slaying one another, others taking their own lives and still others leaping into the flames; and it seemed to everybody it was a victory and salvation." - Reports the most respected Roman Historian of this period, Deo Cassius.

In the same period, Paul came to the Jews and demanded their laws are now fulfilled away. The rebellious, stiff-neck Jews responded: "Nope!"

A most tragic history followed. The mystery here is, had the Jews accepted Paul, Christianity would not have happened. So this was a master plan to turn Paul to the nations instead. It worked; it became the greatest benefactor for Christianity. My conclusion: Paul had a divine compulsion as opposed a divine revelation. It was the nations across the seas, not the Jews, that needed a Messiah and they got it.

Rin (rinnyssance) Hello, I'm new to the group. My name is Rinny. I'm very interested in neuroscience, biotechnology, philosophy, Baroque art, hip hop culture... a variety of things. I joined this because I like to find different communities with smart people who are willing to share their knowledge on a variety of subjects I might not normally think about. This is the first group I've joined. I look forward to browsing through the threads and checking out what everybody discusses here.

Hi Rinny, May I be one of the first to welcome you. I am a relative newbie too. Going by your book list, I think you will enjoy this group as much as I do. Your interests are science, religion and politics. All the things we are not supposed to discuss in polite society for fear of offending is absolutely open to discussion here. Most of this wonderful group want to know how others think and reasons for their conclusions. No fear or favor, just interaction with people who enjoy swapping ideas and literature and are appreciative of our differences rather than threatened by them.

Welcome Mr. Lewis...and feel free to ignore James (message #235) who is not to be confused with James Morcan my fellow coordinator. That we don't censor certain people is living proof of the fact this is a group without rules (gulp!) and a group that promotes freedom of speech. Probably the only such group on Goodreads...for better or worse!

This group has now topped 700 members. If it's not one of the fastest growing groups on Goodreads it's certainly one of the liveliest. Just shows there's a real thirst for underground knowledge out there.

Hi Mikhayla, I would add to your comments that the NWO crowd, or philosophy started much earlier than Hitler. In fact it goes back to the beginning of time. The NWO hates humanity, thus the plan to annihilate up to 90% of it. There is only one entity who hates humanity that much, the humanity which was created in the image of God himself, and that is none other than the prince of darkness. The humans involved are merely tools doing his bidding. Here's a rabbit trail for you, an excellent one, look up the YouTube video 'Aliens come from Hell'. It will surely open your eyes with photos and video graphic evidence. It's a long video but worth every minute as you will see. Happy conspiracy hunting!

message 231: by Mark (new)

Mark (markemery) | 14 comments Warm greetings folks!
I am an experienced 'freedom fighter' who uses law and truth as my armament. My life was an adventure of discovery and liberation having been a part of the decoding of the law and how we are all bound (unknowingly) to serfdom by the operation of law. We knowingly give up our inherent, natural God given rights in exchange for a bowl of porridge which is offered by the state. It is my mission now, through my new book and other efforts, to inform and educate on some of the most important issues of the day, which nobody is talking about. I hope to learn from all of you and be able to share what I can for your benefit. May God bless us all! One Freeman's War: In the Second American Revolution

I am the author of Ethical Empowerment: Virtue Beyond the Paradigms and, very recently, the host of an internet radio show called Philosophic Perspectives. Free Energy is one of the subjects that I am most passionate about, and I just watched the video on the 18 most suppressed inventions. I am seeking interesting guests to appear on my show who have interesting and challenging philosophical perspectives. Check out my radio show page and I invite James, Lance and others to contact me if you think you might make a good (or great) guest! I hope to hear from you!

The guy was abusive on multiple threads and a number of his posts were also flagged to Goodreads Admin I believe for racism and other posts of an abusive nature.

We also received a lot of complaints from other members in the group asking why we don't remove him.

We tried to give him a chance over time but it was clear he was going to keep ranting his vile and hijacking every thread in the group...Not to mention insulting myself and my-co founder of this group (the other James) in every one of his posts!

So finally, he unfortunately left us no choice but to give him the boot.

Anyway, I've noticed the group seems a lot calmer now that he's gone!
