Hello, James. Thank you for inviting me to participate in this interesting forum. The world and the human history is full of mysteries... Musha is preparing a new book entitled "New Frontiers in Propulsion" and we founded together a new international scientific society to be dedicated to study new ways to go beyond the solar system.
Best,
Mario

Thanks Mario.
I think one of Mankind's greatest hopes is for more open-minded and free-thinking scientists like yourself and Takaaki to bring forth and expand upon Tesla-style technologies which have either been suppressed by governments or ignored by academia until now. Things like free energy inventions and advanced propulsion systems.
Whatever I can do to help support this cause, I will.
Regards,
James

Takaaki Musha | 2 comments There are advanced technologies besides Tesla-style technologies and I want to promote the development of new propulsion systems based on the lab of the new internarional society collaborated with Prof. Pinheiro. I am also going to prepare the development of new energy sources to geneate enough energy to realize the interstellar travel.

Hayat (hyassin) Hi Everyone, I've just joined this group thanks to invitation from James Morcan. I haven't read the The Orphan Trilogy yet but I plan to soon. I'm intrigued by conspiracy theories and when it comes to fiction my favourite show, which touches on this subject, is House of Cards. I think this show comes uncomfortably close to the truth.

Snowden Edward (Snowden83) | 1 comments Good day to all.

I have been fascinated by the information discussed on this forum and the accompanying books (notably the Orphan-series). I still have a lot to research myself about what actually goes on in this world and it is wonderful to find a haven for such endeavours in this place.

Like the real Snowden, I’d love to see people care more about the overgrowing size of governmental influence on our lives (and the subsequent ties with corporatocracy). Change doesn’t come overnight however, if any revolution or evolution were ever to happen, it would come in stages. With contemporary media being misleading, the fight for the truth, for the ‘reality’ of life will be a difficult one.

Nevertheless, I wish to thank the Morcans for their friend requests, it means a lot to me for I look up to you guys. I’m glad to a part of this group and I’ll be sure to add some insights to certain discussions!

message 160: by Lance, Group Founder (new)

Lance Morcan | 3058 comments Welcome Snowden - As you ain't the real Snowden I'm not sure what to call you. I guess I'll just call you...Snowden. Anyways...welcome! And yes, you are right...the fight for truth will be a difficult one.

Barbara Underwood Hi Everyone!

I'm really thrilled to have been invited to this group, and I can see from just a quick glance that I'm "in my element" with like-minded people! My story starts about 20 years ago when I became fascinated with Thor Heyerdahl and his theories about megaliths around the world. That lead to all kinds of other books - Graham Hancock and beyond. I'm now using a lot of ideas, theories and facts about ancient technology and mysticism in my Fantasy novel series - the first one, "Rhuna, Keeper of Wisdom" was released last July. With this mindset about history and science being all wrong, it was easy for me to believe a friend when he told me about some conspiracy theories, and once I bought a few quality books, I was convinced. I see from some comments here that there are topics of discussion I'm not familiar with yet, so I'm looking forward to learning and sharing!

Dennis II (dennisnappiii) | 42 comments Hello Everyone!

I'm excited to join this group. I am a former soldier, turned police officer, turned teacher, and also a Goodreads Author! I run a blog and website and also host a weekly podcast with a goal of spreading positive change through education and the sharing of information.

Currently, I am working on my newest book project, #IAmHuman, about some of my experiences with the paranormal. My focus is on the Archons. For those who are not familiar with them, they are a parasitic force that feeds off of the negative feelings and emotions of humanity. It is a powerful topic.

My goal is to gather feedback and shared-experiences from readers during the writing process, so if you have encountered anything dealing with abductions, sleep paralysis, or the Archons, please feel free to reach out! Also, I'm always looking for guests on my podcast, so if you have a story to tell I'd love to have you on!

If you'd like more information about my current project, please visit www.ServiceOfChange.com/Archons
(I hope it's okay that I posted a link in here).

To the moderators, thank you for putting this group together. It looks awesome! I'm looking forward to all of our future discussions.

All the Best,

Dennis Dennis Nappi II

Ricky Sandhu | 35 comments I am Ricky. I have been using goodreads for sometime now though I never signed up for it until recently. I would just read book reviews and that's it. The month of January was fantastic. I read 5 books last month - The Lives of Others by Neel Mukherjee, In Custody by Anita Desai, The Lowland by Jhumpa Lahiri, The Discovery of India by Jawaharlal Nehru and Catch 22 by Joseph Heller. I enjoyed the first three books but the last two didn't warm me up enough. I have just started with Makioka Sisters by Junichiro Tanizaki and the selected short stories of Anton Chekhov. My favourite genres are short stories, contemporary, Indian, gay and lesbian, family sagas and early 20th century Russian literature. I also enjoy cooking, tennis and movies. I am a big movie buff.

Mac Fletcher (macfletcher) | 5 comments Hi, and thanks for the invitation to join. I'm sure I'll fathom what it's all about eventually, but my stance is - from a writer's point of view:
Is it important whether I believe conspiracy theories or not? They're always more intriguing than the official line, so why have an imagination if you can't use it? I look forward to seeing more thoughts from the group. More of the onion, or less of it?

Welcome Mac to the group with no rules. I suspect you'll discover many of the so-called theories in this group's discussion threads are more conspiracy fact than theory. As for which are which...well, that's where we get some (healthy) disagreements from time to time - as you'll soon realise.

message 191: by Mac (new)

Mac Fletcher (macfletcher) | 5 comments Thanks for your comment Lance. AS I see it, all that's needed is an open mind; no room for 'contempt prior to investigation' as they say in another group I belong to.

Laureen (laureenandersonswfcomau) | 478 comments Hi everybody. I must firstly thank Edward for inviting me to join this group. He rightly recognised that this was the type of group I would be interested in.

I love to hear diverse discussion on important subjects. It has always been my impression that following commonly held beliefs on important world issues teaches us nothing. So it is I hope to find new perspectives here to comment on and mull over - oh and fodder for research too.

I am interested in how people think and why. Psychology perhaps, Also political views, science and religion, other countries and their cultures. Almost everything really. Not celebrities or chic-lit, HaHa.

Welcome RC & JP. The 'Drones' discussion thread under 'Miscellaneous' may interest you...though it discusses a different type of drone I suspect. More pertinent may be the MK-Ultra mind control and Manchurian Candidates threads.

message 199: by James (new)

James | 7 comments I came across an interesting discussion re Project Monarch. I had just finished "Programmed to Kill" and had started "Ultimate Evil"... this is not fare for everybody... maybe it should be but the world doesnt work like that... Many people would not believe a lot of this stuff...

The discussion on Monarch in Goodreads to some extent revolved around how much indeed was factual. The interesting thing is that most of the people part of this discussion seemed to agree on the basics... gee just the basics- and this goes back to MKUltra- they are pretty tough to accept at face value. However when you find more than one person coming across with similar stuff... well the evidence seems to speak to the truth of some pretty wild stuff.

Now I come out of the UFO genre- I have a site called Tormance (tormance.wordpress.com)- so I am used to wild assertions. And I have had some strange experiences so I know things are not what they seem.

Really that is the essential thing to take away here... things are indeed not what they seem at all. The world is a quite different place than most of us imagine and its contours are outside what most of us would probably dream as even possible.

I doff my hat to James and Lance for attempting to discuss this knowledge that exists 'underground'- or really it is out there 'hidden in plain sight' but sometimes it helps to suspect its possibility before being shocked by the reality.
