Dr. Jasmine | 24 comments Hello Friends :o)

My pen name is Dr Jasmine and I am a practicing family doctor with 1/3 million patients to my name so far. I am passionate about sharing what I have learnt about humanity through my books.

Love, Demystified- had just been published and is
an idiosyncratic book that combines science and fiction, philosophy, poetry and some original art, to answer all your questions about love; the meaning of life; the design and the purpose of the universe.
Why do we love sex so much? Who is God and where is he? How to maintain passion in a long-term relationship and experience the highest levels of pleasure? What is the structure, function, and the meaning of every entity in the Universe, and what is your place amongst them? These, and many other questions, are answered.

Wishing you all a lovely evening :o)

It looks very timely - so much so I've taken the liberty of establishing a new discussion thread for it titled, How America Works...and Why it Doesn't, and I'm suggesting our fellow Undergrounders check it out and have their say.

Dilip James | 2 comments Hello I am Dilip James an author on Good Reads, I have just published a book on Amazon.com entitled 'Redefining the Electron'. The book deals with questions on how a photon with a 500 nm wavelength, can be absorbed by an atom that is 5000 times larger than itself. To give you an idea of what this means 25 million atoms (at a conservative estimate) can fit into the area occupied by 500 nm squared. Another interesting question is that to do with how does the current model of physics deal with the frequency of optical photons (upwards of a hundred trillion times a second. The short answer is it doesn't and this poses a problem because the latest rubidium atomic clocks show exactly that, namely they resonate at the irradiated laser frequency unlike earlier Caesium atomic clocks that worked in the micro-wave range and did not resonate but affected atoms moved instead to metastable states. Worth a read.

Dear Lance, Thank you for taking the time to read my post and advising me to post it on the alternative thinking discussion thread. The reason I have written 4 books on the subject is that I was totally distraught to learn that more than 400 years after Isaac Newton we still do not have a theory for how light travels from point A to point B. I had thought that by now we would have a beautiful theory to describe the wonderful phenomenon of light. Unfortunately we don’t. The theory of light that we do have, is logically highly improbable, cluttered with maths and does not reflect the beauty of the natural world. In an age of the mobile phone and space exploration we don’t have a clue of how radio waves are formed or of how they propagate. Our theory of atomic structure (believe it or not) and photon emission and absorption is laughing out loud ridiculous. In fact our present interpretation of these things requires faith on the scale that the early Roman Catholic church required of its adherents. But, you say what about the amazing achievements of science in recent years, nuclear energy, mobile phones, the internet, television, space exploration: the list goes on and on. The explanation for this is that an approximately right answer often works as well as a more precise one. There are numerous examples of this. NASA does not use General Relativity to calculate space missions, Radio engineers do not use quantum field theory or quantum electrodynamics to calculate radio-transmissions, they use Maxwell’s equations, which are not truly accurate but which nevertheless work very well and so on. To help readers who are interested in reading my book, ‘Redefining the Electron’ I would like to upload and distribute the book as a PDF file. Any advice on how to do this would be appreciated. Incidentally ‘Redefining the Electron’ offers a new explanation of gravity. Further, every fact is meticulously backed up by citations including chapter and page number, so it is not a wild goose chase you are on.

Ştefan Serşeniuc | 3 comments Hello! I'm Ştefan Serşeniuc. I just uploaded on Kindle Amazon a book on bind and double bind, schismogenesis, cybernetics second and third order. Plus reflexive control, which could be defined as the psychological way of influencing an adversary in order to encourage him to take disadvantageous decisions. Examples of reflexive control (from the book) are: use of language during Brexit, tricks of President Trump, Putin in Ukraine (use of the martial art's techniques into the battlefield as part of the Operational Art).
In the book you will find other interesting things: the use of anthropology against the Japanese during WW2, or how wolves’ DNA was changed by just a human idea, and much more.
Don't get scared by the word cybernetics from the title. You'll see how easy is to understand the whole concept!
Thank you!

Dilip, you have raised points I've never even considered let alone reasoned how or why. Scientific and scientifically disposed Undergrounders will be able to respond more intelligently to your latest post than I.

As for uploading and distributing your book as a PDF file, I'd imagine adding it, or adding a link to it, on the book's homepage -- either here on Goodreads or on Amazon or on the book's website if there is one or on all the aforementioned -- would be your best bet. You could then advertise and promote it on all those platforms and on social media generally.

Ştefan Serşeniuc | 3 comments Don’t read this book if you lack imagination or struggle with abstract thinking! But if that’s not the case, then you will be intrigued by various presentations of facts and realities, such as the tricks behind Brexit, or those used by President Trump, the links between Judo, President Putin, and the war in Ukraine, the use of exaggeration in broadcasting, the use of anthropology against the Japanese during WW2, or how wolves’ DNA was changed by just a human idea, and much more.

Jade Weedmark (faithful_advantage) | 1 comments Hi everyone! I’m Jade Weedmark, and I’m excited to be here and connect with you all. I’ve spent many years exploring conspiracies like the Illuminati and world elites, trying to understand the bigger picture. My life took a major turn after a personal encounter with God, which helped me shift my focus and find real purpose. I’ve spent most of my life living with Muscular Dystrophy and was told I’d be in a wheelchair by the age of 10 and that having children wouldn’t be possible. Despite these predictions, I’ve defied all the odds, still walking independently and blessed with two beautiful children. It hasn’t been easy, but putting my trust in the Creator has given me strength I never thought possible. I look forward to sharing experiences and learning from each of you!

Tui Allen (tuibird) | 2 comments I'm Tui Allen, living in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand where I spend time kayaking among the marine wildlife who share my home here. I worry a lot about marine conservation and all my work is done with this concern in the forefront of my mind.
I am a vegan for 3 reasons:
* environmental
* animal welfare
* my own health
I also drive an electric car, walk a lot, do everything possible to avoid buying plastic or plastic packaging. I bake bread to avoid plastic bread-bags, make my own milk to avoid milk packaging, and other similar things. I guess I'm trying to BE the change as they say.
In the past I sailed a lot around NZ and the South Pacific in a little wooden boat with no motor, no electrics, and some of the sails were made of real canvas. We had huge adventures out there and I passed the time on my long night watches reciting that great poem of marine conservation - The Ancient Mariner and dreaming myself inside the heads of marine beings I encountered around me in the deep sea. These beings have since become the characters in my sea stories. I'm soon to publish my second novel Dolphin Melody and am the author of one previous novel which has done very well for a book with a $0 marketing budget and been translated into the Czech language. It is Ripple, the twenty million year old story of how love inspired one dolphin to an intellectual achievement that changed the universe.

I'm interested in topics that people previously laughed at me for discussing years ago but are now part of everyday life, such as telepathy, clairvoyance, mind control (previously relegated to sci-fi but now existing with Elon Musk's Neuralink), mass psychosis using subliminal suggestion, etc.

Since 2022 (after full-scale Russian invasion) I serve with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

My original field of scientific interest is land law (which in Ukraine is a combination of property law and environmental law) and the theory of law. Peter Jones | 8 comments Hello folks

My name is Peter Jones. I love the idea of this group and have been having fun reading through the discussions.

What seems to be lacking is a section that examines the poor scholarship, poor thinking, abundance of misinformation and general confusion that characterises mainstream academic philosophy. I hope this will become a explicit area of interest for this group at some time, and look forward to contributing on this topic. It is a academic scandal that deeply affects all of us, but it tends to slip under the radar.

My interests and expertise lie in the relationship between metaphysics, mysticism, religion and science and how they may be reconciled without doing damage to any of them.

Needless to say I have a relevant book forthcoming, but the publication date is some way off as yet.

I was a tomboy and curious like she was, so I identified with her. And when I joined Goodreads, it seemed like a good name. When looking for a profile picture, I came across this one of an Indian scout, and it spoke to me. Usually solitary like me, and always on the lookout in new territories. So, no, it's not me, but my great-grandfather was a Seminole, so there is some connection there. I've looked for this picture since and not been able to find it again. I look forward to the discussions here.
