I loved the excursion to Navajo Indians and references to Navajo code talkers. It is always good to be remembered that you don't need RSA or some other fancy algorithm to encrypt a message if you just have a couple of native indian friends.


The story itself is a bit predictable, but maybe he'll throw me for loop at the end somehow.
I like how Scalzi writes people as just people. It doesn't matter if they are a Hayden or not. Some are good like Sean's dad, some are bad like whoever is behind things, but most are somewhere in the middle.
I really want to know what the deal with his partner and the cop is. And why she's not still an integrator to a lesser degree.
The following isn't a spoiler per say, but a prediction. I don't want it confirmed or denied, I'm simply putting it down:
