I'm on Chapter 14 so I'm almost done with this section and can't wait to share my thoughts on this part. I'll probably be done tonight, so depending on where you stand, maybe we can begin talking about this section tomorrow or Friday. :)

I’m done with this section, so I’m ready to talk about it when you are.
I just finished last night and I can't wait to begin Part 3. So my thoughts:
Even though Allie isn't my favorite storyline, I really enjoyed reading this section. I liked the introduction of the skinjacker gang, LOL. And of course there had to be Milos, the guy who gets in the way of Allie and Mikey's relationship.
The part that made me want to strangle Allie was how easy she was manipulated by Milos about skinjacking. The one thing she has going for her is her humanity and how she still lives by human values, but with Milos it seems she's easily persuaded to go against her convictions and Milos's arguments aren't even that convincing to me. I'm glad they've gone their own way and separated. But I wonder if there's going to be more of those characters (including Jackin' Jill).
And the ending with Mikey...O-M-G the monster is back! Which makes me wonder what happened to that kid who took over the ship and called himself the McGill - remember him? If Mikey is reclaiming the title, then I wonder if this kid is going to come into play again.
I'm really liking book 2 as well and I can't wait to see what Allie discovers when she finally finds her family. That's gotta be a fun section of the story to read about.
I agree about Allie. It’s like Milos came along and she was willing to throw everything away. I get that she wanted to learn more about skinjacking but I felt like she pushed Mikey away. It will be interesting to see what Allie learns that Milos couldn’t tell her. I’m not sure how I feel about Milos and I’m not a fan of his crew, but I’m also curious to know if they will come back in the story later on.Oh Mikey!!! Of course he left before he saw Allie tell Milos, No more. Ugh, I hate that he got hurt, but I can’t wait to see what he does next. I also find it interesting that it was so much easier for him to turn back into the monster than it was for him to handle being a boy. I wonder how much his behavior will affect where he ends up, if he ever gets to use his coin. I’m also curious about the other “McGill” and the ship.
I know, I hate that Mikey got hurt too but I have to say I like him better as a monster. I think he made a good villain and was one of my favorites...him and the Haunter. I wonder if we'll ever see him again.
Oh I forgot about the Haunter. He was a good villain. I like Mikey as the McGill but I think he was a bit scarier when he looked like himself but he was able to grow the monster parts. Like when he had that run in with one of Milos’ guys and he was covered in eyes. That kind of creeped me out more. But it will be interesting to see how quick he regains his notoriety and if he’s able to be himself as a boy ever again.
Same here, I wonder what Mikey's ultimate fate will be. Can he fight the monster or will be become himself again. Guess it depends if he finds out the truth about Allie.
