He's still not hanging out with Maggie.
All the old players in one big game. Nicodemus must be crazy!

WTH! Harry has to team up with Nicodemus. Nothing says love like "Yes, I will go to Hell to steal something from Hades while teaming up with Nicodemus, the ultimate sickoo."
WTH...Michael!
I think this might be my favorite book of the series so far. There is a lot going on, and it's not necessarily all Harry jumping in to save the day.
We stayed up tonight/this morning to watch the meteor shower, so I've been reading to stay awake. I stopped at chapter 32.

I missed the meteor shower. School started for my daughter and having both grandbabies in the morning has greatly reduced my reading. I will catch up. I am on chapter 10 now.
The meteor shower wasn't as fabulous as I was hoping, but we saw a few. My kids don't start school until next week.

Do you think it was because I you live in the city and the lights disturb the show? Hunter, oldest grandson, starts Friday. Having one extra in the morning will take a little time to get use to but they are too cute.

I figured it was partly because we live in town - but we live kind of on the edge of some farmland, so there are only streetlights on one side of us. The other side is field. But, you could still see the lights of town in the distance, so...
It was still neat to watch.

I wish I would have known about it. I might have stayed up.

Nicodemus is stacking the deck with some serious bad guys. WTH! Harry is pregnant with a baby spirit! How does that happen?

Lol!
Grey seems pretty freaky.

Yes, indeed.

Yes, indeed.
I had always liked him. He was trying to take up the slack since Harry and Molly are not leading the charge.
So you would think Maggie would have some sort of magic. She's got to be about 10 now. I would think Harry would need to start teaching her how it use it soon.
Michael gave himself up for Harry and Murphy. WTH!
I am ready for us really to meet Maggie. Yes, she should have some magic.

Charity is going to kill Harry for getting Michael involved. I am glad Michael is back as a guardian. Nicodemus was scared just a little.
So some interesting things happened in this book. Grey was a surprise. I mean, I was wondering through the whole book what he was exactly... But interesting. And he has Harry's respect now, so maybe we'll see more of him later.
Butters was another surprise. Out of all the people who I would've guessed to have a sword he would not have been one of them. But Murphy never wanted one, and he obviously knows what he's getting himself into. He's shown himself capable so far.
Molly... It will be interesting to see where her character goes.

We need a new series now. We had talked about the Fever series before, and I think that was one Alyssia wanted to read with us.
Some other series I want to read are women of the otherworld by Kelly Armstrong, the shifter series by Rachel Vincent, Magic bites by Ilona Andrews...
Sorry I'm posting this from my phone so I can't post links. There are more, and I would be open to suggestions.

I loved Butters! I never expected him to take up the sword either. Where was Thomas? Molly seems to be adjusting better than Harry to her new position. Grey was an interesting character. He is like Kincaid. He can be for you or against you. Definitely one to watch.

Of the things listed, I think the Magic Bites series was the only one that I had an interest in already, but I am always happy to explore new books. :D

I would definitely be up for that.

Nothing else though. I don't even really remember it, to be honest.
