Description: Elena, now married to Cooper the barge master, has left her old life to start a new one. This seemed a wonderful change, but they both soon realize they barely know each. There are rougher waters ahead for them than those the barge will have to navigate.

When they arrive at their second-to-last stop downriver, the village there has mysteriously lost all but one of its young men. Cooper doesn't believe the survivor's wild tale of strange beings beyond a waterfall “veil.” Without any truth, as he sees it, he won't risk trying to help them.

Elena has seen more than a few strange things in her life and forms a plan recover the young men before the village's harvest is lost. Unfortunately, carrying out this wild scheme may risk her new marriage as well as her freedom or her life.

Melaslithos | 1360 comments Looks like someone took care of it, but they are not added to the serie you mentionned:
https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

What is the difference between "Tales from the world of the Noble Dead Saga" and "Tales of Misbelief"? In what serie should I add the book?

Whitney | 17 comments Tales of Misbelief is the series that it is part of. This story is related to the other Tales of Misbelief stories.

Tales from the World of the Noble Dead Saga is an overall encompassing title for all the different series of short story ebooks the authors are writing that relate to their Noble Dead novels. If that makes sense? It's kind of a weird one to explain. :) Though the authors sort of explain it on their website here:

Melaslithos | 1360 comments I guess it's like the Discworld serie from Pratchett, which is more of a world, and in which we can find different tales/series (Rincewind, Sam Vines, Tiffany Achings, etc.)?

Anyway, the link you gave is very helpful, the author has a nice timeline in it.

So I added the book to the "Tales of Misbelief" and deleted the "Tales from the world of the Noble Dead Saga", since it was the only book in and it looked like the author was differenciating the series on the website.
