Buddy Reads

This folder exists for those who want to pair (triple? quadruple?) up for buddy reads. If there is something out there you've been wanting to read and have a buddy (or more) who want to join in and discuss, this is the place to do it. Just create a thread and go for it.

A few rules:

Always be respectful.

Each group can create their own rules regarding how they will run the read. Post those rules in the first post for the topic.

Those outside the buddy read group can still post if they wish to join the read but no spoilers ahead of their schedule and respect the rules created by the buddy group members for that particular read.

If a group has read a book, and later you find you'd like to do a buddy read for the same book... go for it. Just create another topic and have fun!

I would be interested in reading The Female Man but it's not available on Kindle so I would have to order a paperback on Amazon and with me not being in the US it could be about a week before I have it in my hands.

Does anyone at anytime wish to do a group read for Luck in the Shadows? I don't nearly read as much fantasy as I do sci-fi so I'm hoping for a kick in the butt to get reading.

Probably. As of right now yes, but things may change if I get this job. If they do, please go on without me. I just won't know until last minute.

I'm planning to re-read Luck in the Shadows starting in January, 1st. It's sort of ... a thing I hope to re-animate the fandom with on tumblr.
Anyway, who would like to join in? :)

I actually just started reading it (without seeing this thread, sorry I've been MIA) so if you've just read it or are still waiting to start, you can join me. I'm just about 10% in on the ebook so not far at all. Let me know.
