Hi, I'm Jeff. Glad to have you here. I'm sure you've figured out what this group is about. I'm new at this, so I'll probably make some mistakes as I learn the ropes, hope you'll bear with me.
I wasn't finding what I was looking for in a group, so I decided to start one myself.
I don't plan on having any challenges or reading assignments, although that may change as I learn more.
I'm just looking for folks who like to read science fiction, and talk about it with others of like mind.
Some fantasy is OK, but I must confess I haven't read much fantasy, aside from the master himself, John Ronald Reuel Tolkien.
Some, but not all, of my favorite authors are Robert A. Heinlein (of course), Larry Niven, C.J. Cherryh, and Arthur C. Clarke.
I'm also quite fond of A. A. Attanasio and David Drake.
