Review: Wow. I still can’t believe my time with Kate is over. This book started off with a bang and didn’t let up and I loved every second of it. Conlan is the best child ever and seeing Kate interact with so many of these amazing characters and work to save her city was bittersweet. I’m glad there will be more in this world and I’m definitely anxious to read Hugh’s books now.

This was such a good book a CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!!! I flew through this audio I could not stop listening it was that good. My favorite of course was Noomi, because she was a green kitty and said meow all the time it was so adorable. I did not know how much I was going to love this book this was my first time getting into a Rainbow Rowell book so if all of his books are like this I can understand why many like her. A little bit into the book I figured what would probably end up happening but that did not deter me from liking the book at all.

Thanks for catching that! I use my phone so once the post starts to get full it's a pain in the ass editing. I usually just scroll until I see your name. I didn't notice I was on the wrong one

I am also finishing up my free space book. It isn't as good as the first book in the series, so has been a little slow going.

Review: I was a little disappointed with this one, since I enjoyed the first book in the series so much. So many little things bugged me about this story. In the first book I really loved the banter and relationship between the vampire Cade and his handler Zach. In this book they were hardly ever even together in the same place at the same time. This book also jumped around way too much, bringing up many snippets and past stories of Cade, and other creepy things that happened throughout history, contributing almost nothing to the current story. And speaking of the current story, the plot was just too tiresome and didn't work for me. This story also has a horror element to it and, of course, lots of people die. I expected this, but what I didn't expect was the author having to introduce each person to us, and give a lengthy backstory to them all, even though they only last 5 pages in the book. They might be interesting characters, but if they are introduced and killed off in 5 pages, why bother? I still enjoyed the action and the concept of the book. Just needed some more fine tuning in my opinion.

Final Thoughts: Terrible. And the narrator was a disaster. I've never heard a more ridiculous fake Scottish accent in my life. I don't care that this ended in a cliffhanger. I have no interest in reading more.

A very good start to a good series. Only thing that irked me was that she kept bouncing between Dev and Daniel, I mean come on girl pick a guy and stick with him. I understand you don't know if its your blood calling to Daniel and are forced to kind of be with him and I know he with held information but come on then stick with Dev stop being wishy washy and be the woman I know you can be! Other than that part it was full of action I hope we see more of Sara and her sister and even more of Summer. I hope that is not the last time they have seen Summer. For my first Lexi Blake novel I was pleasantly surprised and am glad I picked it up I believe I will continue on with this series.

Review: This book takes place nine years later for Mairi from the first book. She is older and wiser and not near as free-spirited as she was in the first book (almost seemed like a different character), but I did enjoy reading her story. The plot was a little slow for my taste, but the romance between Mairi and Ramos was enjoyable. The time-travel element was fun as well, and we get to meet up with some of the characters from the first book again. All and all a cute story, but nothing so wonderful that makes me want to read any more from this series right away.

Final Thoughts: MC books aren't my favorite. Luckily this one was low on the drama and had no cheating. So it remained pretty light considering. Most of the violence and criminal activity happened off page. The story and plot stayed pretty simple but I didn't mind.

Okay this is a series I will probably continue to read and give a chance. This first book was a little to much for me it set off my anger button multiple times. Only because Horse was a pig head butt head. My friend turned me on to these and I thought to give them a shot. The ending was good and Horse did end up making it up I guess. I just guess I am not all into the cave man type of guy. Also them calling them old ladies bothers me, just because in my brain it is disrespectful but I know for them its respectful but my brain can't wrap around it oh wells that's not the life for me and I'm okay with just reading about it. I will not lie though those sex scenes were hot and heavy made up for some of the other stuff.

Review: Maybe it’s because I moved away from Chicago so this is bringing up lots of nostalgia, but I enjoyed this way more than I expected. The first 2 were fine, but didn’t really grip me. This one seemed to have lots more going on. Merit has lots to juggle and the world is facing a looming crisis. Seeing how all these characters try to navigate their challenges was awesome. I definitely am looking forward to reading more in this series now.

Review: I'm not sure why so many people shelved this as Motorcycle Club. It was about a Special Ops Team operating under cover as a Motorcycle Repair Shop. Yes they did ride bikes a few times, but that was about it. I liked this book more for the writing style than the plot. The author's quirky humor had me cracking up from the first page onward. This was a special ops/romance...heavy on the romance, light on the special ops. If I'm going to read a book about special ops, I expect a lot more action. If you read this book as a romance, then I think you will enjoy it. The couple definitely had chemistry from the get go. The ending was wrapped up nicely, which is how I like it. Also, many great side characters. I can definitely see this series going on for a while.

I love this series...sad that I don't have many left to read!

Final Thoughts: Pretty good. I enjoyed book 1 just a tiny bit more. Daniel really annoyed me in this book. He was such a blind idiot when it came to his father.

Review: Meh. Serviceable sex scenes and a fun man on the run plot line kept it interesting but the plot and characters are so bland that the whole series just runs together in my mind. Granted it’s been awhile since I read book 3, but I started this going “Which one is Rock again?” Loved the jungle setting - very Romancing the Stone - but the heroine’s helplessness just made me eyeroll. Vanessa was boring and a bit TSTL for me. This series had so much promise at the start but each book drives me further away. I think I’m officially done here.

I could have been more observant too! But I just didn't notice

Review: This is another great addition to the series. After 15 books in this series you would think the author would start running out of ideas, but that's not the case. This book was completely original and full of new surprises and ideas (I can't tell you because I don't want to give anything away). Was the story a little "out there"?...Yes, but fun nonetheless. And one of my favorite things about these books is that all the old characters continue to appear, and this one is no different. It's nice to catch up on how everyone is doing. Right now there are only 16 books to this series, but I hope the author decides to write more. I think there are many more stories for her to tell.
