SOLVED. YA Scifi about a girl who time traveled to stop a disaster, involves cyborgs and amnesia. [s]

When I was around 12 (im 29 now) I borrowed this book from the library. It was about a young lady who was having nightmares. She would wake up in the morning to find her VCR had been used, recorded on rewound or something like that!
I remember specifically she was havinga bath in one seen and fell asleep. She then had a nightmare about having her spine removed or something. Having surgeries, like she was being abducted by aliens only she wasnt.

So it turned out that she was a cyborg, traveled back in time in order stop a catastrophe from happening.
I believe her dad was a scientist or something.

This is all I remember and I have been trying to work out the books name for YEARS

I have googled this book many many times over the years with no luck. It was starting to drive me mad.
My mum also read the book and has tried to find it as well. I linked her the goodreads link and before mum even opened it sge was like "Omg! The book!" So.
We have just purchased a second hand copy (our library doesn't have it) We are 90% sure this is the correct book.
Ill update this as soon as I know for certain.
