Questions/Problems in Completed Tasks
Sara G - post 2512Task 25.1, book 1 requires that NONE of the letters from SUMO be found in the author's name. Nancy E. Turner has a U in her name.
Kristi CO - post 2530Posting requirements have changed: 12. Only one task may be included in a post. Please repost your tasks separately.
Julia103 - post 2544A Knight's Tale: Kenilworth appears to be an ebook without a print edition. You need to get the number of pages verified in the ebook only thread if you have not done so already. Once that's done, you need to repost and include the verification post # or the line on the spreadsheet where the book has been verified for length.
Jenifer - post 2562Task 20.8 requires a person without a head on the cover. It does not allow anything above the neck to be seen. A nose and mouth can be seen on:

SO SORRY!!!
Claire - post 2588We have more than one Claire in the challenge. Please repost this task with your Readerboard name at the top of your post.
Jasmiina F - post 2612Posting requirements have changed: 12. Only one task may be included in a post. Please repost your tasks separately.
Amy the book bat - post 2632From the FAQs: "1. What about words in titles? If a task calls for the word “back” in a title, can I use a title with “Back-up”? How about “Backstop”?
The default rule is that the word must stand alone in the title, so in the absence of exceptions, neither of these would work. Typically, task creators will specify any variations. A common variation is to allow plural and possessive versions of the word. Sometimes, task creators will allow any word in which the target word is found intact – in which case, both of these examples would work.
Essentially, a "word" in a title is a string of letters/symbols/punctuation marks with no spaces. So, a contraction is one word, as is a hyphenated word.
The only variations task 25.2, option 2 allows for are plurals and possessives. Hundred-Year-Old will not work for OLD.

I missed that, I will look for something else.
Alycia - post 2664The paperback edition of Bed, Breakfast & Bones does not have page numbers. You will need to ask a Goodreads Librarian to verify the number of pages and add them to the book's main page before reposting your task to claim it for points.
I think I should have 435 points and not 430.My completed 5 points tasks are: 5.1, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7 and 5.9.
I should also have 1 BB Ticket and 3 GO Tickets, not 2 BB and 2 GO.
Rina wrote: "I think I should have 435 points and not 430."Whoops, I recorded 15 points for one of the 20 pointers. Fixed! Sorry about that. Your corrected total will show up in the next update.
I have you down for BB tickets from posts 1764 -- A Discovery of Witches (1 BB ticket) -- and 2694 -- Précieuse Eliza (1 BB ticket). Total: 2 BB tickets
I have GO tickets from posts:
24 -- The Murder of Roger Ackroyd
304 -- All Quiet on the Western Front
In post 1764, where you claimed A Discovery of Witches, your tally of GO went up but your BB numbers did not. I think that post is where your discrepancy lies for GO vs. BB tickets.

I'm confused. GR shows the paperback edition with 231 pages; I picked the Kindle edition by mistake. Why would I need a librarian to verify?

I have already asked for verification prior to posting and saying so in my post "e-book only, approved for length at post #7079 of the verification thread".
Isn't this clear enough?

"Sorry, I was up late, saw this, have librarian status, and so I fixed it in GR. Page numbers weren't there when you posted it, but they are now.

Sorry about that, Elizabeth. No idea how I skipped right over that! I've fixed your totals in the spreadsheet. Your corrected total will show up on the Readerboard at the next update.
Diana K - posts 2661 & 2729You've claimed task 30.3 in both of these posts. You'll need to adjust your total points.
Kristina Simon wrote: " Jenifer - post 2562Task 20.8 requires a person without a head on the cover. It does not allow anything above the neck to be seen. A nose and mouth can be seen on:
"Oops! That's what I get for not wearing my reading glasses. I didn't see the mouth.
Cordelia - post 2778If the edition of The Snail on the Slope that you read has 248 pages, you need to link to that edition. The edition you've linked to has 256 pages and, therefore, does not meet the requirement of task 30.7, option 2.
Barbara ★ - post 2779If the edition of The Bronze Horseman you read has 810 pages, you need to link to that edition. The edition you've linked to is the Kindle edition. Using the procedure set out in the Rules for determining the page count of an ebook, the most popular mass market edition of this book is Tatiana, which has 626 pages. This does not meet the 750+ page requirement for the one book option of task 30.4.
Mary P - post 2786Task 50.1, book 3 requires a book that has won an award, not a nominee. Yours Until Dawn was a nominee for the Maggie Award for Excellence in 2005, but it did not win.
Kaora - post 2819Man O'War had the genre Children's on its main page at the time of review.
GENRES
Animals > Horses 104 users
Animals 47 users
Fiction 46 users
Young Adult 36 users
Childrens 35 users
Please repost your task including the required ARBookfinder information set out in the Rules of the Challenge for children's book.
Jasmiina F - post 2876Task 20.8 requires a person without a head on the cover. It does not allow anything above the neck to be seen. A chin and part of a mouth can be seen on:
Alycia - post 2881All posts, including reposts, must include a link to the books you read. The easiest way to do this when reposting is to go to the original post and click on the word "edit" in the lower right-hand corner of the post. Copy what's in the edit pane, post it into a new message, and make whatever changes are needed before posting the new message (you can cancel the edit of the old one). Doing this will retain the formatting of the original post (including links and book covers).
M1nks - post 2884Task 10.2 requires a book listed on the Popular World War 1 Books list. Some Do Not... is not listed. Parade's End is. From the FAQs: 3. If the entry on a list is a box set, you cannot substitute an individual book from the set, and if the book on the list is in a series, you cannot substitute a different book in the series. If a short story appears on the list, you may not substitute a collection that includes the story.
Karolyn - post 2908Task 20.5, option 3 requires a book that nearly fits one of the requirements for task 20.5 of the Summer Challenge, but not quite. The author Dan Brown would work for the original task as both initials (DB) can be found in FRIGGATRISKAIDEKAPHOBIA.
Tien - post 2909Task 20.8 requires a person without a head on the cover. It does not allow anything above the neck to be seen. A chin and part of a mouth can be seen on: Juror #3
Jenifer - post 2915Task 25.2, option 4 requires all the letters of one of the tiles in the author's first and last name. Jessie Burton will not work for the "season" tile because there is no A in her name.

Indeed, you did! I'll update your points on the spreadsheet and your corrected total will show up on the Readerboard in the next update. Thanks for providing the link. Most helpful!
Emurphy - post 2954Task 30.1, option 1 requires a book that was FIRST published in a year containing the numerals 1 and 4. Confessions was FIRST published August 5th 2008.
I *think* I should only have 455 points as of post 2900, and the Readerboard shows me at 460. My posts, in order of posting:

Whoops! I always forget that it won't let me copy the links. Every.Single.Time.

Hmmm... not really sure what happened there, but now I've gotten to 3000 and all your tasks are accounted for I think we have the same numbers. Check and, if not, let me know and I'll see if I can find the discrepancy.
Barbara ★ - post 3010Task 10.9 requires a book written by a single author. Full Speed has 2 authors.
Cathy - post 3040Did you get Historical Fiction verified as a MPG for The Outlaw Viking and A Tale of Two Vikings? If so, you need to repost this task with a link to the verification post as Historical Fiction is not showing up on the main page of either book at this time.
Also, please make sure your Readerboard name at the top of all your posts.
frugalitymom - post 3049Task 20.1 requires a book that is more than 300 pages (301+ pages) long. The Hawaiian Quilt has 288 pages.
SALLY M - post 3083Task 25.3, book A requires a book with a one or two word title. The Wedding Date has 3 words in its title.

Lights and Sirens appears to be an ebook without a print edition. You need to get the number of pages verified in the ebook only thread if you have not done so already. Once that's done, you need to repost and include the verification post # or the line on the spreadsheet where the book has been verified for length.
