Whew! Finished A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens this afternoon. I had difficulty sleeping last night, so ended up reading until almost 6am. Got up around 11am, and finished the book in about 1-1/2 hours, after breakfast of course.
Now for a few faster reads!

Jack Higgins is a great author. I've enjoyed and recommend two of his books, The President's Daughter and Storm Warning.

I did NOT like this particular book in the series. I thought it was too over the top. Hope you like it more than I did.
Started Chasing Fire (rom-suspense) by Nora Roberts yesterday, am already 30% through. I'm coming down with a cold, so my big weekend plans are to curl up with this book and a box of Kleenex.

Right now I am trying hard to get through Under the Dome. I am a huge Stephen King fan, but for some reason, this particular book is just not doing it for me.

Well so far I am enjoying this book...."
I read the next few books so it didn't swear me off the series or anything :)

My copy just arrived yesterday and haven't started it yet, but am REALLY looking forward to it!

Finished Chasing Fire by Nora Roberts, and also read three short stories (45 pages) in the Dorothy L Sayers anthology I've been working on two years now. Only nine more shorts to go!

Good to hear - I have this on my Nook and was thinking of reading it next...

I'm currently reading
. It's the 2nd in the Green series. I really enjoyed the first book and so far this one is good too, though I'm only 15% through it.

WWII Tuscany setting - much better!

Also, I was vastly entertained and educated by D. P. Lyle's upcoming April release, MORE FORENSICS AND FICTION: Crime Writers Morbidly Curious Questions Expertly Answered, a sequel to Forensics and Fiction: Clever, Intriguing, and Downright Odd Questions from Crime Writers. As a result of reading it, I even made a small correction to the galley proofs for Wicked Eddies, which I was also reviewing while away! I recommend Doctor D. P. Lyle's book to both mystery authors and readers.

I really enjoyed The Spy Who Jumped Off The Screen.

I love that series too!! Thanks for mentioning it I didn't know the third one was out, definitely getting that ASAP!
I had difficulty deciding what to read next last night, but finally settled on an older romance picked up at the library's used book sale some time ago, The Duke Comes Home by Dame Barbara Cartland. At only 149 pages it was a fast read, but quite good.
Next up is Sea of Suspicion by Toni Anderson, which I won from another GR group last week and received in today's mail.

Finished over the weekend: Sea of Suspicion by Toni Anderson (rom-suspense, Friday night) and The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephenie Meyer (YA vampire, read Saturday).
Currently reading: Solid as Steele by Rebecca York (rom-suspense, about halfway through).
