If you want to see photos of my book research trip to Moab, Utah and Cataract Canyon on the Colorado River go to: bethgroundwater.blogspot.com

I loved the first one. Haven't had a chance to read the second yet. Glad you liked it!

I wonder why I am not getting updates from this group. Hmmmm... maybe I checked the wrong thing.

I wonder why I am not getting updates from this group. Hmmmm... maybe I checked the wrong thing." I wasn't getting them for a while either and today they showed up. I have still been on my UF kick:
Straight to Hell by Michelle Scott -- this actually is kind of a cozy. It's just paranormal. I reviewed it here on GR and my blog. Good start of a new series.
Dying Bites by D.D. Barant -- UF parallel world. Decent.
Child of Fire by Harry Connolly - UF -this was pretty dark and more like a supernatural thriller than urban fantasy, but very fast paced. Good book.
Finished The Last Battle by CS Lewis this afternoon. Am thinking of starting Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire next. Need to read this one so I can return it to my sister.

I really enjoyed that book too! Love Jennifer Crusie.
I've finally gotten around to the next in the Dresden series - Turn Coat

You're only 2 more away from being caught up with Harry!!

Plus about 10 more. I can't focus on any one book right now.

After one in the morning and I have jsut finished Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire. I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight until I had finished, and it was well-worth the loss of sleep. Excellent book. Hmmm...I wonder if my sister has Son of a Witch, so I might pilfer borrow that from her next?

I have this on order :)
Right now, I'm not reading anything...Just don't feel like it for some reason...Sometimes I think buying that Kindle was just a waste of money!!!!

Just the title of Son of a Witch made me smile.

when I am not reading cozies, I enjoy romance novels, contemporary authors such as Debbie Macomber, Mariah Steweart, Sherryl Woods, Linda Lael Miller. I finished Sage Creek by jill gregory and the Villa by Nora Roberts; loved Hometown Girl by Mariah Stewart

I've been looking at THE VAMPIRE STALKER. It's sitting in my Amazon cart right now, but I haven't decided whether to buy it or not!

The Vampire stalker is really Young Adult but i like it!
The idea of the book is original.
But it basically depends on if you like YA books.
The book does read fast and i think it's a stand alone.
