As I don't consider Sherlock Holmes as fitting into cozyland, I knocked
out of my TBR on my Nook.

Read The Abandoned by Amanda Stevens on Tuesday (though I should have been concentrating on the book started over the weekend). The long-anticipated fourth book in her "Graveyard Queen" series is out next week, though I know I won't lay hands on it for a while.
Reading
Midnight Bites: Stories of the Morganville Vampires. A favorite series that actually ended. This is a collection of short stories involving lots of the main characters. Any time I can read about the characters from this series, is a good time!
Wish You Were Dead by Todd StrasserStarted this some time last night around midnight or so. It's a lot better than i expected...so far...we'll see what happens. :-)
I'm getting ready to start
by Kristin Cashore, it counts for Sugarpop's Ultimate Reading Challenge as a YA bestseller but I've also had it on my TBR shelf for almost 3 years... 2 birds one stone... :D
Just finished reading
Tales of Cynings Volume I by Cameron W. Kobeshttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I am reading Louisiana Saves the Library as well as Gone Black. Hopefully I will be able to finish the March challenge.

Nearing the end of the highly enjoyable jewel heist caper
. There is a lot going on in this book, but I will be grabbing the second in the series when I finish this one.
Just finished my Kindle Unlimited selection

Finished, and yes I did. She definitely left an opening for another book or two in the series.

Smoke (Burned #2) by Ellen HopkinsWorking my way through some of these library books that I still have and still have some level of interest in so I can get them back to the library then hopefully work on some of my books on my bookshelf. :-)

Thank you, I think I'll read it at some moment this month.

Finished Case Histories and I'm still working on Emma. I've added the next Jackson Brodie book to my wishlist.
Good luck with Emma. I stalled halfway through.
Read Walking by Thoreau yesterday, a short nonfiction classic.

Just finished reading
The Snow Queen by Joan D. Vinge. One of the best book I've read this year!
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Finished Emma and discovered I've never read His Dark Materials series so I've started The Golden Compass.

"I loved that one.

I bought the follow on book in the Tony Hillerman series that his daughter wrote. I've heard they are equally as good as his books were. Then, once it was loaded on my Kindle, I thought - hum, why not read the series first in order, so, I'm currently reading The Blessing Way.
. While it's fun to look back, it's not as satisfying as it was the first time. Maybe because it is dated and when I read it, the book was contemporary. Or maybe it was because it was the first of the series and Hillerman hadn't hit his stride yet. Of course, I miss Chee, but I know he comes later. I'm looking forward to working my way though the full series in the next couple of years.
I've been reading my Kindle Unlimited selection
Fluency by Jennifer Foehner Wells. It's a very enjoyable First Contact story.
I just started
by Veronica Rossi which qualifies for the Sugarpop reading challenge as a futuristic romance novel. The first book in this trilogy was amazing so I have every bit of faith this one will be just as good.
I read Robert Galbraith (j.k. Rowling) or general fiction books, usually ones recommended to me. I really liked "Big Little Lies".
I began today The Inheritance by
Michael R. Phillips
I received from Bethany Books to read and review.
I'm nearly done with
Fluency by Jennifer Foehner Wells, my Kindle Unlimited selection. A very enjoyable First Contact novel.
Currently reading
The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton I'm going to do my best to get through all of her books...but I know after this, I want to try
and after that, we'll see what happens. :-)

Trying to catch up on some series so I'm in the middle of
on audiobook. I love these things, as dark and disturbing as they are.

Enjoy! I haven't read those since middle school, but have been interested in rereading The Outsiders again.

I started Death at Breakfast by Beth Gutcheon over the weekend, which I received through GR's "First Read" giveaways. So far it's been good. Definitely NOT a cozy due to strong language that I know turns many of you off.

It looks interesting. I'll wait to listen to your final opinion.

I would never say that! After all, when I was in 8th grade, my teacher told me it was "inappropriate for a young lady" to read science fiction.
